Chapter 548: Chapter 155: Troublemaker Rabbit [Part Two] Third Update_4
"Yes!"
"The victor is the only one with the right to drink that cup of alcohol!"
"Yes... Christ, who ambushed me?"
"Kill!"
...
Watching a group of people rolling into the distance, no longer hearing their war cries, Qin Shou finally took a breath of relief. Smacking his lips, he felt a bit thirsty, then he picked up the offering cup on the windowsill: "After eating for so long, the ancestors should be done by now, no need to waste it, I might as well drink it."
Then Qin Shou tilted his head back and downed it!
In that instant, Qin Shou felt the temperature around him drop significantly!
At the same time, it seemed like countless pairs of eyes were staring at him!
That feeling was just like when he was in elementary school, walking the runway, except back then he had worn the wrong clothes, going up in a dress. The entire school’s teachers and students were watching him, but the girl who was walking with him was the fiercest. That poor girl had no clothes to wear and had to wear his clothes instead... Now, Qin Shou had once again stolen the limelight, and her fury at that time was understandable.
Now, those stares he was getting were pretty much like how that girl had looked at him.
Qin Shou was puzzled. He hadn’t done anything, so they couldn’t hate him that much, could they?
Qin Shou put down the cup and stole a glance outside, only to see that the Asuras who had left had returned, each one of them angrily blocking his window, glowering at Qin Shou!
Qin Shou asked in utter bewilderment, "Wait... what are you guys doing back here?"
An Asura glared intensely and said, "Why did you just drink it?"
Qin Shou replied, "The offering cup, you know. After a meal, it’s time to drink. It would be wasted otherwise."
"Wasted?" The Asura’s eyes bulged out nearly popping, pointing at Qin Shou, he articulated every word, "We are right here, would we let you waste it? Are you looking down on us?"
Qin Shou, still confused, then caught on and retorted angrily, "What do you mean? Do you want to take my ancestors’ place? Let me tell you, the Nether River Patriarch is my brother. If you take the place of my ancestors, that means you’re his ancestors! If you really want to, I won’t stop you, but you’ll have to explain it to him later."
Upon hearing this, the Asura nearly dropped to his knees in terror, quickly shouting, "No... no, don’t talk nonsense! What I mean is, after your ancestor has had his part, I can help you drink."
"Right! We can help you drink!"
"With us here, there will absolutely be no waste!"
"Indeed, we just went to duel for the right to drink. And now you’ve gone and drunk it..."
"Yeah, that’s just not right."
A group of Asuras all spoke at once.
Upon hearing this, Qin Shou was stunned and looking at these hideous Asuras, he asked, "What do you mean? You want to drink alcohol?"
A group of Asuras nodded in unison.
Qin Shou laughed, "If you wanted to drink, you could’ve just said so. What’s the big deal? Dueling just for a drink?"
Qin Shou felt like his world view was about to be overturned, and he also increasingly realized the Asura Clan was truly poor!
Qin Shou had seen people duel over a beauty, over treasures, but this was the first time he heard of people dueling over a mere cup of alcohol; moreover, it was a brawl where only those who survived would have the right to drink.
Furthermore, after a few words with these Asuras, he felt even more that though the Asura Clan might be aggressive, they were also simple-minded; they acted directly for what they wanted, straightforward and without beating around the bush.
In Qin Shou’s view, as long as these fellows didn’t lay a hand on him, they were actually much easier to get along with than those on the outside full of ulterior motives.
Qin Shou grabbed a liquor pot, tossed a cup to each person, and was about to give them the pot to pour for themselves... but fearing they would start a fight over the right to pour, he simply gestured, "Come here, I’ll pour for you. Once you’re done, get lost. Don’t be prowling around the window. You lot make me uneasy just looking at you."
The Asuras were stunned.
One of the Asuras approached and asked, "Rabbit... Rabbit, are you really gonna give us the alcohol to drink?"
