Rabbit Must Die -
Chapter 490 - 103: Biological Father_1
Chapter 490: Chapter 103: Biological Father_1
Li Zhenying, however, disagreed, "Really? That Judge Cui nearly took Bunny’s life, and all Bunny did was take a little bit of his money. So what? If my Third Brother were here, that Cui Jue definitely wouldn’t see tomorrow’s sun!"
Upon hearing this, Lady Diyong was taken aback. After thinking it over carefully, she realized that Rabbit’s approach was indeed quite mild.
Meanwhile, Cui Jue sat in the Judicial Division with a mournful face, sneezing nonstop. While sneezing, he cursed, "Who’s cursing me?"
Following that, Cui Jue’s eyelids twitched uncontrollably, and he suddenly had a bad premonition, but he couldn’t figure out where this feeling was coming from. When he tried to calculate it, he was left completely baffled...
At that moment, Black and White Impermanence stepped forward and said, "My Lord, shall we continue capturing people?"
Cui Jue subconsciously reached for the Book of Life and Death and the Judge’s Pen, ready to write, but then he suddenly saw the broken tables and chairs on the floor, a white shadow flashed before his eyes, and he shuddered, shaking his head, "Let me take a closer look. If there’s a need, I’ll call you. Leave now."
Black and White Impermanence exchanged glances, neither of them expecting Cui Jue to say something like that; it was not like him at all.
But then again, upon reflecting, anyone who encountered a creature like that Rabbit probably would reconsider their actions before causing any more trouble...
Afterward, Black and White Impermanence excused themselves and left.
Bull Head and Horse Face didn’t leave. Just as they were about to say something, Cui Jue glared at them, "What are you looking at? Get lost with the others!"
With no choice, Bull Head and Horse Face also had to leave. Once outside, Bull Head said with a bitter face, "What were you about to say?"
Horse Face said, "I wanted to ask Judge Cui to lift some of the seals on us. Not being able to use our strength and getting bullied feels damn frustrating. And you?"
Bull Head said, "Same here. With our abilities, how could we not beat that fool loaded with flab?"
Horse Face nodded but kept to himself the thought that even if the seals were lifted, they might not necessarily overcome that fool...
Regardless of what others thought, Qin Shou had already left the Judicial Division. As he walked out of the street of the Judicial Division, he found himself amidst a sea of people again. However, Qin Shou just stood there, not moving for a long time, eyes bulging like bronze bells.
Among the crowd, there were figures carrying other humanoid creatures, each creature larger than the last, their butts perkier, and their peaches bigger...
Then together they shouted in unison, "Make way! My brother needs to poo!"
And then...
And then those people were blocked by a group of grim-faced individuals, looking at them with disdain, not moving an inch like dogs!
Seeing this scene, Li Zhenying whispered, "Bunny, your trick doesn’t work anymore."
Qin Shou’s forehead was lined with black veins as he muttered, "Dammit, isn’t there any intellectual property protection in the Netherworld? They’re all freaking infringing..."
Although he cursed inwardly, Qin Shou also understood that not to mention the Netherworld, even in the Heavenly Court, when he first introduced the OL classroom look, hadn’t there been a ton of infringements with no one to take his complaint to?
So, Qin Shou quickly moved on, muttering to himself before he suddenly had a brainwave, soared into the air, and bellowed, "Give way for Judge Cui’s trial!"
Then, Qin Shou openly and legitimately rushed to the Heibai Tavern with his girl and the fool, checked in, and went to sleep.
Although the Netherworld doesn’t have a sun, it still has day and night.
The day and night here mainly depend on the streetlights; when they are on, it’s daytime, and when they are off, it’s nighttime.
After nightfall, Cui Jue tossed and turned, unable to sleep, his mind filled with images of the Rabbit smashing his long-treasured furniture set.
Eventually, Cui Jue got up, threw on his clothes, went out the door, and headed straight for the only bridge in Fengdu City.
That night, Qin Shou couldn’t sleep either.
After seeing the Chang’e he longed for day and night, Qin Shou’s mind was filled with her image, and the memory of her reluctant cries when they parted made it impossible for him to sleep.
Tossing and turning, Qin Shou got up, leaned against the window, and looked outside...
To his surprise, there was a tall figure sitting outside the window, hands around his knees, back to him, motionless.
Just by seeing that bald head, Qin Shou instinctively called out, "Kui San?"
Indeed, Kui San turned his head to glance at Qin Shou, eyes brimming with tears, he nodded, and then turned back, silent once more.
Qin Shou jumped out of the window and sat beside Kui San, asking, "Missing home?"
Kui San nodded, then said, "I miss Big Brother and Second Brother."
Qin Shou asked in confusion, "Don’t you miss your parents?"
Kui San decisively shook his head, "No."
Qin Shou was speechless, never expecting Kui San to be so indifferent towards his own father.
Curious, Qin Shou asked, "Isn’t he your biological father?"
Kui San glared and exclaimed, "How could he not be? My dad said he was even more foolish than us when he was young!"
Qin Shou clapped his hand and declared, "Then he’s definitely your real dad!"
Kui San followed with a nod, "Hmm!"
Qin Shou was again speechless, silently adding to himself: That’s certainly his own son...
Then Qin Shou asked, "So what are you doing here?"
Kui San looked pitiful and said sorrowfully, "I’m missing Big Brother and Second Brother."
Qin Shou stretched out his hand and realized that although they were both sitting, he could only just reach the other’s waist with his height, so he said confidently, "Can you lower your head?"
Kui San lowered his head.
Qin Shou reached out and patted his head, saying, "Good boy, your Big Brother and Second Brother are smarter than you. If you’ve survived this long, they’re surely fine."
After saying this, Qin Shou himself couldn’t help but laugh; he found his own words ridiculous. Three fools, even if there’s a difference in intelligence, compared to regular people, they’re still fools... how big could the gap be? So, he didn’t even believe his own words.
However, after some thought, Kui San nodded and echoed, "Rabbit, you’re right! Big Brother and Second Brother are much smarter than me, they must be fine."
Then, in excitement, Kui San grabbed Rabbit and asked, "Rabbit, I’m hungry."
Lines of frustration appeared on Qin Shou’s forehead, and after a while, he managed a faint smile, "I have some food here. Take it back to your room and eat it secretly. Don’t let Zhenying and the others see it, or they will snatch it."
Then, Qin Shou produced a steamed bun and handed it to Kui San.
Kui San treasured it like a precious gem, tucking it carefully into his pouch. Then, after looking around vigilantly, assuring that Li Zhenying and the others weren’t there, he gave Qin Shou a sly smile, turned, pushed open his own window, and crawled inside. As he closed the window, he said, "Thank you, woof!"
Seeing this, Qin Shou pursed his lips and muttered, "Should’ve known better than to waste my breath. I could have just sold him a pair of crutches and made a fortune."
