Rabbit Must Die -

Chapter 304: Chapter 301 The Moon Palace Crew_1
Qin Shou waved his hand and threw a Xumi Bag to Jinghan, saying, "Here is ten million Red Spirit Crystals, take them for their cultivation. When they’re used up, come and tell me!"
Jinghan’s hand trembled with excitement, "Rabbit, you’re giving us Red Spirit Crystals?"
Qin Shou said, "Nonsense, you followed me to this godforsaken moon, you can’t just neglect cultivation, can you? If you’re short on Yuan Qi, use these Spirit Crystals. Alright, I’m going back to sleep in my room, no yelling or shouting allowed!"
After he finished speaking, Qin Shou returned to the Moon Palace, but no sooner had he climbed into bed than he heard a thunderous cheer from outside. So, the Rabbit leaned out of the window and cursed, "Shut up!"
Then the cheering stopped abruptly, and soon a round of snickering whispers followed...
Qin Shou felt helpless, got into bed, covered himself with the blanket, and fell asleep.
For seven days in the East Sea, Qin Shou hadn’t closed his eyes – he truly played for seven days and nights! He tried everything he thought was tasty and drinkable, ordering a hundred more of everything he liked and then stuffed them into his Black Demon Box, planning to share them with Chang’e upon his return.
So, those seven days could be described less as a spree and more as a quest for good food, good drink, and all things enjoyable, all for the sake of coming back.
However much he tried, Qin Shou found he simply couldn’t fall asleep!
Since he was about to see Chang’e, his little heart was pounding erratically and he was brimming with energy, with not the slightest inclination to sleep.
Helpless, Qin Shou got up, thought for a moment, and with a glint in his eye, pulled out the Eight Trigrams Furnace and said, "Furnace, what do you think, do I look handsome?"
Qin Shou struck a pose!
The Eight Trigrams Furnace chuckled and said, "Chubby!"
Qin Shou rolled his eyes and said, "I’m asking if I look handsome!"
The Eight Trigrams Furnace chuckled again, "One chubby destroys it all!"
Bang!
A furnace was thrown out the window by the Rabbit and crashed heavily onto the ground, then the Rabbit jumped down, mounted the Furnace, and said, "I’ll give you another chance to rephrase that!"
"People rely on clothes, horses rely on harnesses," the Eight Trigrams Furnace said ruefully.
Qin Shou was taken aback, "What do you mean?"
The Eight Trigrams Furnace sighed, "Being ugly isn’t a problem, you can dress up a bit, there’s still hope."
Bang!
The Rabbit kicked up a leg, and a furnace flew up into the sky, turning into a shooting star, disappearing into who knows where.
Although the Eight Trigrams Furnace’s words weren’t pleasant, Qin Shou agreed with its logic.
He recalled the three amazing skills from his distant homeland: makeup, beauty filters, and Photoshop! With these three skills, even pigs could be beautified to look like Heavenly Immortals, but if you actually tried to meet someone based on their photo, you’d likely end up with a stranger.
This world may lack beauty filters and Photoshop, but makeup?
Qin Shou touched his furry face, figuring that no amount of cosmetic powder would help.
"Then I must rely on the outfit," sighed Qin Shou, finally abandoning all unrealistic fantasies.
Qin Shou made several sets of 21st-century Earth clothing, but found that a Rabbit wearing those clothes could never look cool, so with a stomp of his foot, he made a suit of white gold armor!
The design of the armor was meticulous; Qin Shou crafted it after the armor worn by Lü Bu in the video games he’d played in his previous life – a suit made entirely of white gold leaves shaped like willow leaves, with a red lining that was strikingly eye-catching.
Once he donned the general’s outfit, Qin Shou felt instantly more majestic!
With a wave of his hand, Qin Shou held a Fangtian Halberd, stood proud, shook the two red feathers on his head, and grinned, "With this getup, I’m afraid I’m going to dazzle countless young girls, alas... it’s a sin!"
Armored up, he couldn’t sit still and ran straight out of the Moon Palace into Fenghua Tower. He called over a little seahorse, mounted it, brandished his spear, feeling an air of invincibility as if he could fight a thousand battles single-handedly.
Too bad, as he paraded around Fenghua Tower on his seahorse twice, what he heard was...
"Greetings, Rabbit."
"Hello, Rabbit..."
"Rabbit, have you eaten?"
"Rabbit, your outfit is so cute!"
...
And then Qin Shou slinked away disheartened.
Seeing Qin Shou’s dejected look, the Eight Trigrams Furnace snickered, "That won’t do, Rabbit. If you want to impress, I actually have an idea."
Qin Shou’s eyes lit up, "What idea?"
The Eight Trigrams Furnace said, "It’s simple, no matter how swaggering you are alone, it’s just one person. What’s so impressive about that? Don’t you have minions now? Give each of them a uniform, and have them follow behind you like an army of thousands. With them as your backdrop, your presence will naturally be magnified!"
Upon hearing this, Qin Shou clapped his hands, laughed heartily, hugged the Eight Trigrams Furnace, and kissed it, exclaiming, "Cauldron, I’ve suddenly realized, you do have your uses!"
"What did you call me?" The Eight Trigrams Furnace instantly turned from bronze to pitch black.
Qin Shou said, "Cauldron, aren’t you the Eight Trigrams Furnace? Isn’t calling you Cauldron okay?"
The Eight Trigrams Furnace...
Qin Shou said, "Cauldron, why aren’t you speaking?"
The Eight Trigrams Furnace said, "Can we choose another name?"
Qin Shou said, "How about Old Trigram?"
The Eight Trigrams Furnace chuckled, "I think ’Eight’ sounds pretty good."
Qin Shou said, "I think Furnaces should just be used for cooking."
The Eight Trigrams Furnace shivered and quickly changed the subject, "Let’s just stick with Cauldron. Rabbit, I think you’re still lacking a bit in handsomeness."
"Like what?" Qin Shou asked.
The Eight Trigrams Furnace said, "Your crown is not handsome. I’ve got a dashing suggestion. Want to give it a try?"
Qin Shou raised an eyebrow and said, "Let’s hear it."
The Eight Trigrams Furnace said, "I can enlarge and shrink. If I shrink down and flip over, I can definitely serve as a crown. Just think, the Eight Trigrams Furnace of the Dao Ancestor as a crown, who in the world has ever had that?"
Upon hearing this, Qin Shou was tempted. But after taking another look at the bronze color of the Eight Trigrams Furnace, his face darkened.
Bronze color, that is, green!
Imagining himself walking around with a green hat made him realize... that would certainly be quite the spectacle...
So, rubbing his hands together, Qin Shou said, "If you dare to jump on my head, I’ll kill you right now!"
The Eight Trigrams Furnace was stunned, then looked at its own color and chuckled, "Don’t get it wrong, my color can change. Whatever color you want, I have!"
Qin Shou smiled and said, "Really?"
The Eight Trigrams Furnace exclaimed, "Of course!"
Qin Shou stroked his chin and said, "Let’s see a shit-yellow one!"
The Eight Trigrams Furnace...: "Are you sure? That would literally be a shit bowl on your head!"
Qin Shou rolled his eyes and said, "Pure gold, pure gold!"
The Eight Trigrams Furnace shrank and, the size of a normal crown, hopped onto Qin Shou’s head. It didn’t even need any straps; it just naturally stayed firm.
Looking in the mirror again, Qin Shou had to admit... the thing actually looked... pretty good!
More importantly, Qin Shou finally didn’t have to have a Furnace trailing behind him everywhere, and the Eight Trigrams Furnace wouldn’t have to be stuffed into the Black Demon Box away from the fun...
It was a win-win solution!
However, Qin Shou kept reminding himself: "When it’s time for the wedding night, I must make this guy scram!"
Now fully equipped, Qin Shou once again mounted his little seahorse, flicked his red cloak, and wielded the Fangtian Halberd as he headed to Fenghua Tower.
Standing outside Fenghua Tower, looking up at the large entrance plaque, Qin Shou frowned.
Jinghan happened to witness this scene and immediately ran over to ask, "Rabbit, is there something displeasing to your eye?"
Qin Shou replied, "Fenghua Tower doesn’t even have its turf anymore, we can’t keep this name. Since we’re on my Moon now, let’s call it Fenghua City from now on!"
"No problem, I’ll find someone to change the signboard right away!" Jinghan immediately responded.
"We have such talent?" Qin Shou asked in surprise. He knew that the name "Fenghua Tower" was something Ao Bing had spent a lot of money to get done, and it must have a lot of thought behind it; otherwise, it wouldn’t have been suitable to hang up.
Jinghan chuckled and said, "Don’t worry, Rabbit, the person I’ll find won’t be any less capable than the one who wrote those three characters!"
Soon after, Jinghan brought over a Sea Spider Spirit. This creature had several claws, each holding tools like chisels and hammers. It climbed onto the archway and, after a series of tinkles and clanks, the signboard quickly read three large characters: ’Fenghua City.’ And amazingly, these characters even seemed a bit more elegant than the previous ’Fenghua Tower’!
The original Fenghua Tower was a place of romance and beauty, naturally embodying a gentle charm.
The new Fenghua City, crafted by a spider, had acquired a touch of fierce and formidable energy!
Qin Shou, not understanding the artistry, didn’t know which was of a higher artistic level, but he knew this one pleased him more... Thus, he smiled and said, "Nicely done, here’s a reward of one hundred Red Spirit Crystals!"
The Sea Spider Spirit thanked him profusely, rasping, "Thank you, Rabbit!"
Qin Shou raised an eyebrow and asked, "Jinghan, do we have other talents like this?"
Jinghan puffed up his chest, "Rabbit, we may lack many things, but we certainly don’t lack talents in all fields! The East Sea Sea Clan has numerous personnel, but very few positions. Most of those employed by the Dragon Palace are hereditary positions. Those I’ve brought with me are capable people who have made a name for themselves through sheer skill in civilian life. These folks are not favored by the Dragon Palace and lack connections. Since you mentioned needing people, I brought them all packaged up..."
Qin Shou burst out laughing and patted Jinghan’s knee, "Nicely done! Come on, lead me to meet these capable and extraordinary people!"
Accompanied by Jinghan, Qin Shou cheerfully entered the city. Soon, the Bouncing Fish Spirit and the Electric Eel Spirit arrived, and after some shouting, all the residents quickly gathered.
It was Qin Shou’s first time truly scrutinizing these subordinates. He didn’t know if they were capable or not, but after a glance, he realized he had seen quite a variety of extraordinary ones...
The creatures before him, each one strange and curious — even those who had transformed had fierce faces. Either bulky and muscular or having three heads on one neck, or short with legs hidden beneath their baggy pants...
He could recognize some species, but the more he looked, the more he was shocked. There were hardly any normal members of the Sea Clan among these creatures!
Jinghan stepped forward and introduced them one by one, "Rabbit, this is the Pointed-mouth Shark clan’s Huojian, the best hunter publically recognized in the people."
There he was, with a nose a meter long, puffing his mouth out until it almost caught up with his nose in length, such elasticity. Qin Shou couldn’t help but think innocently, "This is evolution in creatures, ah, to solve the problem that a long nose makes kissing hard, they’ve managed to make their lips stretch so far... Impressive!"
