Chapter 141: Identity As An Anomaly Discovered!!! What Kind Of Anomaly Are You???

Kranos went silent for a while, many thoughts racing through his mind. After a few minutes passed, he finally replied calmly, "Thank you."

Even after calculating various possibilities, he still couldn’t determine what was wrong or what she was planning. In the end, he decided to let her be for now. Once I acquire the Soul Treasure, I’ll leave. Then she won’t be able to plot anything... if she has a plot at all.

At his words, Kathryn merely smiled. But since Kranos was facing the other side of the bed, seemingly lost in thought, he didn’t notice the cunning glint that passed through her eyes. Kranos... you will definitely become my puppet in two months...

Just as the two of them were lost in their separate thoughts, a terrifying pressure suddenly descended upon the entire Elven Immortal World. Following that, a colossal ship appeared in the skies, stretching endlessly across the horizon. It was so vast that most elves across the world could see it with their own eyes.

Along with the ship came a terrifying voice that thundered through the heavens.

"Rodrick, where is Kathryn?"

"How dare you be so impudent in my Immortal World?" Rodrick’s voice boomed in response. At once, a king clad in regal green robes appeared in the sky to confront the ship. It was Kathryn’s father. As he stared at the massive vessel, his divine aura began to churn with intensity.

A wave of invisible fluctuations began spreading throughout the entire ship. Wherever the energy passed, it felt as though the very aura of life itself was being drained from existence.

"Rodrick, do not attack if you don’t know what is going on," a calm voice resounded directly in his mind. It belonged to one of the black-masked men onboard the ship.

Giving the king a semblance of respect, the voice continued, "We have received word that your daughter is an anomaly. Allow us to kill her and claim rewards from the Immortal Heavenly Dao. You too can participate and receive merit for performing a righteous deed."

The voice was calm and gentle, like a soothing spring breeze. Yet, upon hearing the words, the king’s composure shattered. His eyes widened in disbelief.

How could it be? How could his precious daughter be an anomaly? He could hardly believe it.

His expression flickered continuously before he immediately sent a spatial sound transmission capable of ignoring distance entirely, directly to Kathryn.

Tell me... are you an anomaly?

Kathryn, who was busy replaying her plans involving Kranos, froze as she heard a voice echoing in her mind.

Father?

She instantly recognized who was speaking, but the content of his message left her stunned.

How... how does he know I’m an anomaly? I’ve never revealed any flaws!

Her thoughts raced and she wanted to lie. But then she recalled certain memories.

She sighed, then responded truthfully, "Yes, Father. It’s true."

Her voice was transmitted back to the king through the same invisible thread of divine will.

Rodrick’s face darkened once more. Then he asked, "What kind of anomaly are you?"

"I am... and..." Kathryn began narrating the truth to him, sharing some of her secret.

He listened in silence. After a while, his expression paled, as though the strength had drained from his face. Finally, he sighed and spoke.

"In that case, use the Heart of the World Tree to leave. I want to see who dares to kill you while I am still alive."

Having said that, the king no longer acknowledged the voice speaking to him with false courtesy. His expression turned completely cold, and his life world began to expand furiously. This time, he wasn’t holding back.

In a single moment, the ship was entirely engulfed by the aura of life. Then Rodrick began draining the vitality of everything within his domain.

"You..." The three black-masked men were stunned. They immediately released their own worlds in an effort to counter Rodrick’s.

To reach the God Incarnate Realm, one had to condense a pseudo-domain.

A domain in the God Realm. And, finally, at their level, they had long since refined their domains into miniature worlds governed solely by their own laws.

The laws of heaven and earth churned violently. Instantly, the four worlds clashed. Rodrick, borrowing the energy of the World Tree, had a world equal in power to that of the three black-masked men. Because of that, their confrontation resulted in a tense stalemate.

Then, without hesitation, Rodrick drew a silver sword from his spatial ring. His chaotic world energy surged violently as he swung forward.

It was as though the skies themselves collapsed. Darkness blanketed the world, and for a moment, the heavens trembled under the sheer weight of his attack.

All the elves across the continent looked up at that terrifying light that could destroy countless small worlds.

Was this... was this the true strength of their king?

...

"We need to leave!" Kathryn’s expression twisted into urgency as she turned to Kranos.

Kranos was stunned for a moment. "Leave? Why?" he asked, confused.

"Something terrible has happened," she replied, not revealing that they had come for her, the anomaly. Instead, she kept it vague.

"The rebels?" Kranos asked, trying to understand.

"Why are you asking so many questions?" Kathryn frowned, then quickly helped him up. Since he had not yet fully recovered he could barely support his own weight, and his bones were still weak. Kranos estimated that it would take at least a month before he was completely healed.

Brother... we are leaving. Come immediately. Bring your divine weapons and arrows along with you

Kathryn’s voice echoed in Kevin’s mind as well. Instantly, Kevin, who was deep in meditation, opened his eyes and a strange light flashed through them. He quickly packed his equipment into his spatial ring and, muttering a few words, his figure vanished.

Harnessing her speed, Kathryn carried Kranos. In the blink of an eye, the two of them reached the Heart of the Elven Tree, where the king had sealed. Kranos realized something else as he studied her.

She had stepped into the Monarch Realm, and judging by the flow of her aura, it hadn’t happened recently.

Such terrifying cultivation speed, he thought. He sighed, but then a frown surfaced on his face. I don’t know what’s happening anymore. Argh, I hate this feeling of weakness!

They waited there for a short while before Kevin appeared, running toward them.

Sister, what is wrong? he asked the moment he arrived, his face full of worry.

Don’t ask questions right now. Here’s what I want you to do... Even now, Kathryn was still thinking of ways to manipulate Kranos’s emotions.

"We have to leave the Elven Immortal World using this spatial teleportation array. A terrifying battle is unfolding," Kathryn said, turning to the two of them.

Kevin hesitated for a moment. "But..."

Kathryn shot him a glance. "Just say what you want."

"But Sister, you know the Elven Tree is dying. If all three of us use it to teleport, it might collapse," he said, then looked at Kranos apologetically. "I think we should leave him behind."

Of course, Kathryn already knew that the Scarlet Moon Organization were the ones present from her father; she also knew that they were still tracking Kranos and would never let him go.

What if they discovered him while searching for her? Wouldn’t she be able to escape easily then???
