Chapter 138: God-Slaying Poison And A Storm Of Time

How can I survive this? Farloc! Is this your plan?!

Kranos was filled with immense rage. He hadn’t expected this at all. His gaze immediately locked onto Farloc, who stood between two God Realm elves.

They accounted for my movement technique, Kranos realized. Because of how numerous the demons were, all the places he could teleport to had been blocked. Besides, no matter how fast he was, could he really be faster than a God Realm cultivator?

Kranos frowned deeply. Countless thoughts passed through his mind. He was thinking of how to escape this predicament. The elves sneered while looking at Kranos. One of the God Realm elves beside Farloc turned to a few Monarch Realm elves.

"Kill him."

As soon as the female elf gave the order, five Monarch Realm cultivators vanished from their spots and appeared right in front of Kranos.

He was stunned but quickly calmed down. These elves weren’t his match; he could tell that much. Still, he didn’t counterattack immediately. He waited. And as they launched their barrage of attacks, Kranos vanished using the Heaven and Earth Movement Technique.

I can’t expose my full strength yet, he thought. Not with God Realm elves still watching... I need to bide my time and find a weakness in their encirclement.

His figure blinked across the battlefield, dodging wave after wave of attacks. The Monarch Realm elves grew increasingly annoyed.

"Can you only run and not fight?!" one of them roared in frustration.

Kranos didn’t even reply. He sneered inwardly, You’re all ganging up on me, and you expect me to fight fair?

He continued dodging, appearing on a branch here, a rock there... using each location to absorb the ambient time energy and restore his dwindling time points. Rapid Thought was active as well, processing hundreds of escape routes.

The God Realm elves watched the battle with amusement. The same female elf nodded at several more Monarch Realm cultivators, who quickly joined the fray.

Just as Kranos appeared atop another branch, he felt a sharp spike in mana fluctuations. Without hesitation, he vanished.

BOOM!

The branch exploded behind him. Kranos appeared several meters away, his eyes narrowing.

Seven more have joined the battle... It’s getting more dangerous, but... I can feel it. I’ll soon find an opening!

His silver eyes gleamed as he continued flickering through space. Each time he landed somewhere, he absorbed the time energy to replenish his reserves. But then—

A chill crept up his spine.

The moment he appeared in a new location, he froze. His body wouldn’t move. Panic surged through him immediately.

What—?!

His surroundings were engulfed in a fiery red glow. The temperature skyrocketed. Initially, he was fine, as he had tamed the Heavenly Flame after all, but soon, even his body began to feel the heat. It kept rising... and rising...

If this continues... I’ll be burned alive!

Kranos’s eyes filled with fear.

I can’t hide my strength anymore!

His eyes turned crimson. In the next instant, an invisible wave of time essence exploded from him, expanding outward in all directions.

Everything within a few meters disintegrated and turned to dust.

[Gained 100,000 Time Points.]

The Time System panel flashed. Even the god realm elves were shocked, they had never felt an attack like that before, and it was too mysterious. They also felt that something had been drained from them, but because it was too minuscule, they couldn’t tell what it was.

"Time Clone!"

"Heaven and Earth Movement Technique!!"

Kranos vanished again—and this time, his figure split into fifteen afterimages, all racing in different directions. These weren’t just illusions, each one was a Time Clone, created through his advanced techniques.

And they didn’t stop there.

Each clone blinked directly into the midst of the Monarch Realm elves. His main body, meanwhile, appeared directly in front of the God Incarnate Realm elf, the one who had trapped him in the deadly red flame domain.

Eternal Hunger... move.

A silver blur streaked through the air, and in the next moment, all the Monarch Realm elves were annihilated.

Kranos sensed he had three seconds left before the Time Clone technique expired. Without wasting a breath, he stretched out his hand and activated Time Absorption on their remains.

[Gained 100,000 Time Points.]

The system flashed again.

Appearing in front of the God Incarnate Realm elf, his sword moved. The elf tried to react but realized he was frozen.

A domain?! How—how can he possess a domain? Only God Incarnate Realm cultivators can cultivate a domain!

The elf was stunned. He wanted to plead for help from the nearby God Realm elves, but Kranos had already used the Time Movement Technique alongside the Heaven and Earth Movement Technique.

Immediately, a head flew, and the elf turned to dust within a few moments.

Pant! Pant! Pant!

Kranos breathed heavily. The attacks had been relentless, and the strain on his body was immense. He needed a moment to rest. However, he knew he didn’t have that luxury.

Glancing at the God Realm elves, he noticed that their expressions were shifting rapidly. There was fear, shock, and... curiosity?

They couldn’t understand how someone at the Golden Core Realm had just killed a God Incarnate Realm elf.

Not able to take it anymore, one of the God Realm demons moved.

Kranos noticed instantly and reacted on instinct. He was shocked by the sheer speed of the God Incarnate Realm elf. He immediately tried to pause time, but he didn’t even get the chance to activate it.

The elf had already reached him in the blink of an eye.

"Brat!" the elf shouted and slapped Kranos, sending him crashing into a massive tree branch a few meters away. Kranos felt like he’d been struck by a mountain and his body cracked in multiple places.

However, most of the injuries vanished almost instantly.

Kranos had used his Time Healing Technique on several parts of his body. Time essence infiltrated his ribs and bones in an instant, rewinding the damage. Because of this, Kranos’s injury wasn’t too serious.

Bang!

He bounced off a branch and fell to the ground, hitting another large tree. He staggered to his feet, but his vision blurred.

He realized something was wrong.

His vision had turned slightly dark. His gaze was clouded and blood-filled. He was shocked.

What’s happening to me?

Kranos understood immediately that this was far from ordinary.

Inwardly, he felt his body crumbling. The process was very swift, and Kranos realized that he would definitely die in an instant if he didn’t do something.

"That... that is the God-Slaying Poison!!!"

A familiar voice suddenly rang out across the battlefield.

The voice was filled with shock... and even more than that... terror!!!
