"Yes, remember yesterday you asked me to find some land for building the pharmaceutical factory? I’ve found it. I wanted to go to the site with you to take a look. If there’s no issue, we can sign an outsourcing contract." Wu Kexin nodded as she explained.

The land belongs to the village, not Wu Kexin personally, so Chen Yang would need to go through the formal process of contracting it.

Therefore, she thought placing the location at the edge of the mountain was the most fitting choice.

"The location is quite nice, but there’s one drawback—there’s no road. Once the factory opens, there’ll be a lot of vehicle traffic, so it’ll be inconvenient without a road," Chen Yang said.

"Hmm, that’s not a big deal. We can extend a road from the village’s main road. If you don’t want to invest in it, I can help you apply to the town for funding. Maybe they’ll cover the cost," Wu Kexin said thoughtfully, nodding as she offered a solution.

Hearing Wu Kexin’s suggestion, Chen Yang couldn’t help but smile.

"Let’s not do that. Always seeking funds from the town feels a bit embarrassing. They already gave a million for the school construction," Chen Yang said awkwardly, feeling reluctant to keep asking for support from the town.

But Wu Kexin didn’t see it that way.

"Chen Yang, you’re thinking about it the wrong way. You’ve made such a big contribution to the village, boosting the economy and leading everyone toward prosperity. The town should indeed provide you with some supporting policies; that’s what they’re supposed to do. What are you worried about? It’s not like the mayor’s giving you this money out of his own pocket," Wu Kexin said with a chuckle.

Chen Yang, hearing Wu Kexin’s words, immediately felt she had a point.

What he was doing did qualify as bringing investment to the area, and town policies providing support were indeed normal.

Moreover, such funds typically came from the county, so there was nothing to feel awkward about.

Chen Yang quickly came around: "Ha-ha, you’re right. Then I’ll leave it to you to handle the application. Saving a bit is always good."

Chen Yang and Wu Kexin walked around the area several times, and both felt satisfied, nodding their approval.
