Originally the plane where Reincarnation City was situated belonged to a plane with no backing. If they had had a Great Power behind them back then, those demons might never have dared to lay a hand on them.

"Greetings, Master," the City Lord said, respectfully saluting Mu Can.

He reached into his bosom, took out an Elixir, and handed it to Mu Can.

"Thank you, uncle," Mu Can promptly bowed in gratitude to Xu Chao.

The gifts Xu Chao gave to Mu Can had far exceeded his imagination; he thought he wouldn’t be able to help Purple Cloud reshape her body until he became an Immortal Venerable himself.

But now, it was possible to do so immediately.

"I’m leaving," Xu Chao looked at Mu Can one last time and then disappeared from the spot.

Sister Cloud, I’ll reshape your body soon, and then you won’t need to stay inside the Reincarnation Pearl.

"Mm-hmm," Purple Cloud nodded. Happiness had come so suddenly that she was a bit slow to react.
