Fortified by outrage, both shot toward Nan Feng only to be quickly intercepted by Xiaoqing.

"Ladies, let’s talk this through calmly. It’s not right to resort to physical aggression before we’ve even had a proper discussion," Xiaoqing entreated.

Nan Feng noted the ladies’ facial conditions, then turned to look at the facial masks. "Could it be that you’ve ingested something by mistake or came in contact with a contagious item? Before we draw conclusions, it’s better we stay calm..."

Though Xiaoqing was about to dispute the allegations, she was rapidly silenced by Nan Feng.

As Nan Feng was preparing to make careful inquiries, more women barged into the shop, some even accompanied by maids. All had their masks and facial cleansers bought from Nan Feng held in their hands. "Dear Lady, why are you doing such deceitful things at such a young age?"

"After what you did to our faces, how do you plan to compensate for our losses?"

"Don’t think you can escape responsibility once we leave your shop, we can still hold you accountable!"

"Oh my god, it seems like everyone has these strange marks, it’s not just me! Now, with so many of us experiencing problems after using your product, how do you plan to explain yourself?"

Nan Feng was out of answers. She could only appeal to everyone to stay calm, while repeatedly assuring them she didn’t drug her products. If she really did, wouldn’t she be destroying her own reputation?
