"There’s no need," Ye Ge replied with a light smile, "He should be the one inviting you."

"Why is that?"

"Because he escorted ten ladies back, not ten men," Ye Ge said, chuckling.

It took a moment for Nan Feng to understand his joke, and when she did, she burst into laughter. "You’re right, Wu Yang should be the one treating me."

After a moment of laughter, noticing Ye Ge’s intense gaze, feeling a heat rush to her cheeks, she continued walking.
