Chapter 535: Location 3 Chapter 535: Location 3 Victoria felt Emery’s tight embrace, making it almost difficult for her to breathe. She shifted her body slightly, and only then she felt she could breathe again.

“I really just want to keep you locked at home, have someone protect you, and have you stay home every day. As long as you are within my line of sight, I feel at ease,” Arnold’s distress was immense.

Victoria could tell from his words that he was afraid of losing her.

“So you want to turn me into an agaric and a toy, huh? If I really become like that, will you still like me?”

“No matter what you become, I will always like you! In my heart, you are unique and irreplaceable,” Arnold seemed to have been suppressing these words for a long time.

Victoria’s mind started racing – was she really unique, or was it just because she resembled an irreplaceable woman?

“Am I really unique?”

“Of course,” Arnold was unwaveringly certain.

Victoria wanted to ask but hesitated. She felt it was too hurtful and frustrating to ask at this moment. Perhaps there was still some faith lingering in her heart. She believed in Arnold.

“You haven’t answered my question yet. How did you find me? Did you install a tracker in my car?” Victoria thought Arnold was capable of doing such things.

Arnold shook his head, “I know you don’t like being followed or monitored, so how could I do such a thing? Even if I wanted to, I would need your permission.”

Victoria waited for his explanation.

“When I arrived at the company, I missed you and wanted to ask if you had arrived, so I called you and found the line was busy,” Arnold looked at her as he continued, “At the time, I didn’t think much of it. I waited five minutes and called again, only to find it still busy.”

“When I called again five minutes later and your phone was still occupied, I asked Candy Foster to find you. She discovered that neither you nor your car were at the company, and I had a bad feeling. So, I immediately had someone locate your phone and found out that you were leaving the city and your phone line was still occupied. Therefore, I immediately sent someone to rush over.”

Even now, Arnold still felt a lingering fear.

“Do you know? I was scared the whole way. If something really happened to you, what would I do?” The mere thought of this possibility still left Arnold’s heart in shock.

After hearing this, Victoria immediately hugged him back, “I’m fine now, right? Maybe I really have a strong fate, and my life wasn’t meant to end like this.”

“Regardless of whether Edward Hernandez has any ulterior motives or if he’s the one who hypnotized you, when he saved your life, I felt that everything else didn’t matter. After all, as long as you’re alive, that’s my greatest relief,” Arnold revealed his true feelings.

Victoria couldn’t help but ask, “If Edward Hernandez really is that person, would you let him go?”

Arnold had always thought of capturing this man and making him suffer the worst possible torture, but what if it really was Edward Hernandez?

“Considering that he saved your life, I would give him a chance to live. But if he still doesn’t repent, then I won’t hesitate, because nothing is more precious to me than you,”

In Arnold’s heart, Victoria was priceless, unique, and irreplaceable.
