Clara slipped her hand under his shirt, touching his skin and softly asked, “Do you want some medicine as well?”

“No need, I can handle both of you mother and daughter.”

Seeing his confidence, Clara didn’t say anything more, simply picking up the glass of water and drinking it all in one gulp.
