Chapter 444: Dismount Show of Power 3 Chapter 444: Dismount Show of Power 3 As Victoria was hesitating whether to leave or not, a maid dressed in a similar uniform walked out of the small living room. She seemed to be not very young.

Upon seeing her walk towards her, Victoria politely nodded.

“You must be Miss Garcia, I am Mrs. Lewis, the housekeeper working here.”

When she greeted her, Victoria also politely replied: “Hello.”

“Second Young Master said that it’s your first time here, so he asked me, Mrs. Lewis, to take you on a tour. The scenery in some parts of this place is quite beautiful.” Mrs. Lewis said with a smile.

It seemed that although Arnold Johnson was not present, his eyes were everywhere.

Victoria did not refuse his kindness.

Since Grand Lady Johnson was so busy, Victoria might as well wait until she had time. It’s not like Victoria was in a hurry.

“Alright, I will be in Mrs. Lewis’s care then.” Victoria called out in a friendly manner.

So she followed Mrs. Lewis outside. Halfway through, Mrs. Lewis asked Victoria to wait for a moment. Within three minutes, she returned with a coat.

“This is Second Young Master’s coat, you can put it on for now, as it’s snowing outside.” Mrs. Lewis said with concern.

Actually, Victoria didn’t feel cold, but she didn’t reject Mrs. Lewis’s kindness and obediently put on Arnold Johnson’s coat.

After less than twenty minutes of walking, Mrs. Lewis brought her into a room. Upon entering, a warm breeze rushed to greet her, instantly feeling warm as spring.

“Miss Garcia, please have a seat, and I will bring you some refreshments.” Mrs. Lewis said before turning around and disappearing into another room.

Victoria had taken a small tour and, although she hadn’t seen the entire villa, she now had a general idea. The whole villa had three levels, the main building was a blend of Eastern and Western styles, and the other parts were like traditional Chinese courtyards transformed into elegant and unique spaces. Victoria thought it was very nice.

It seemed that whoever designed the entire Johnson Old Mansion must have put a lot of effort into it.

In a short while, Mrs. Lewis brought in some refreshments.

“Miss Garcia, please try these refreshments from the Johnson family, they are made by Aunt Nelson from the kitchen. She doesn’t have many skills, but her snacks are so delicious, that they are better than those made by famous pastry masters in Metropolis.”

Victoria looked at the steaming hot pastries on the plate, looking like they just came out of the oven.

Picking up a piece, Victoria gently tore it apart. It was a Red Bean Crisp. The outside was a golden, crispy layer of glutinous rice, and the inside was a soft red bean filling. A very pleasant and fresh aroma greeted her.

Victoria tasted a bite, the outside was crispy, and the inside was soft and delicious. The flavor was very good, and she couldn’t help but eat another one, while praising, “This is really delicious; thank you guys.”

“There’s no need to be polite with an old woman like me. If you like them, whenever you visit or stay here in the future, just let Aunt Nelson know when you want to eat, and she will make it for you.” Mrs. Lewis smiled, her eyes narrowed into a line.

She had been looking forward to the Second Young Master getting married for many years, and now that he finally brought someone up to his liking, how could she not be happy? If she could, she’d treat Victoria like royalty.
