“As long as you think that’s the punishment he deserves, I’ll support you!” Arnold held her hand tightly and continued mysteriously, “There’s one more thing you might not know.”

“What is it?” Victoria asked.

“Terry Garcia’s last big investment in his online financial company was made by cashing in on Clara Brown’s shares in the Brown Group.”

Victoria was surprised, “Their relationship is deteriorating now. How did he deceive Clara into agreeing to it?”

Arnold shook his head and replied, “He drugged Clara and then had her sign the general power of attorney. I don’t think Clara knows about this.”

“It really proves the saying that evil people will suffer at the hands of other evil people.” Victoria couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief in her heart.

What Terry did to Clara was more devastating to her than if Victoria had handled Clara herself.

“You should let your sisters know that you’re okay. They’re really worried.” Terry teased her gently, “To cooperate with my plan, they all insisted on not coming to see you. They must be feeling bad.”

“Well, then give me a day off!” Victoria said with concern, “And give yourself a day off too. Go home and get some sleep.”

She knew that Arnold had been holding her hands, and he wasn’t resting well these days because of what happened.

“Alright, I’ll give you a day off. I have a lot of things to deal with still. After I’m done, I’ll come to see you!”

“No, you have to get some sleep before you come to see me!” Victoria said stubbornly.

Arnold, however, responded with a naughty smile, “Don’t worry, I’m in great shape.”

After saying that, he quickly propped himself up and planted a kiss on Victoria’s forehead, “Get some rest and remember to think of me!”

The two of them lingered together for a while before Arnold left the ward.

Once Arnold left, Victoria contacted her three sisters to let them know she was fine.

The first to rush to the ward was Amelia Wilson.

As soon as Amelia entered, Victoria stopped her, “Don’t show that crying face, I’m fine now!”
