“I understand what you’re trying to convey, if there’s nothing else, I’ll be going now.” Victoria Garcia said as she prepared to leave.

However, Kaelin took a step forward, grabbing her arm, “Do you really think you can just leave like this?”

“What else?” Victoria responded coldly.

Kaelin, with a ruthless look in her eyes, suddenly drew a knife from behind her and quickly placed it at Victoria’s throat, “Here, you only have one choice, or I’ll let you die right here and now.”

“I need to remind you, murder is illegal in our country.” Victoria showed no fear at all, she just didn’t expect Kaelin to take such a crazy action.

“In this world, there are many who have gotten away with murder. My brother-in-law is a prime example. Don’t you know that?” Kaelin sneered.

“That’s a different matter.” Victoria responded calmly.

Kaelin laughed, “For me, it is the same matter.”

“No, because you can’t kill me!” Victoria retorted confidently.

Her words momentarily distracts Kaelin. Seizing the opportunity, Victoria slipped away, quickly grabbed Kaelin’s hand and deftly knocked the knife from her grip.

Stepping back, Victoria said again, “As I said, it’s not the same.”

“Victoria Garcia, don’t get cocky, this was just a lesson!” Kaelin unwillingly spat out, as she tried to pick up the fallen knife.

Victoria merely uttered, “Don’t waste your energy. You cannot overthrow me. If you really want to kill me, come back when you’re capable. I will be waiting.”

Victoria Garcia swiftly left the place, without paying any further attention to Kaelin.

In Victoria’s eyes, Kaelin was a spoiled person who would not hesitate to make other’s pay if something or someone displeased her.

In the past, Amelia Wilson suffered from Kaelin’s revenge because of one unguarded comment.

Now, as Kaelin perceived that Victoria had stolen something valuable from her beloved sister, she naturally wouldn’t let the matter rest.
