Chapter 285: Unexpected 2 Chapter 285: Unexpected 2 Amelia Wilson knocked on each door. Some people answered politely, while others cursed her, calling her crazy, perverted, and telling her to die…

While she was frantically running barefoot with the dress to Floor 10, suddenly noisy yelling came from one of the rooms.

Amelia instinctively shouted, “Oh no!”

Ignoring her appearance, she ran straight towards the noise.

“Move… Move… Move out of my way…”

Amelia exerted all her strength to squeeze into the room, seeing people taking photos and people inside the room yelling, “Who are you? Get the hell out! Out! Out!”

The woman’s voice wasn’t her sister’s,

As expected, the face Amelia saw was Caroline Nelson’s distressed face and the face of an older man with a chubby face and a prominent beer belly.

It was no wonder Caroline had a petrified look on her face with him resembling that.

But what on earth was going on?

She was genuinely confused.

In the room, Caroline wrapped herself in a sheet, her hair disheveled, while the middle-aged man sincerely said on the side, “I’ll take responsibility for you, don’t worry, I’ll definitely take responsibility…”

“I don’t want you to take responsibility! Get out… get out…”

It was evident that Caroline was on the verge of going insane at this moment.

Shortly after, more people gathered, mostly familiar faces. Caroline heard a familiar voice, “Cousin!”

After Amelia saw that Victoria wasn’t there, she pushed through the crowd again. By the time she squeezed out, she was a complete mess.

When she looked up, her eyes instantly lit up.

There she was, Victoria, standing next to Arnold Johnson.

Amelia, caught between laughter and tears, ran towards her, still yelling, “Sis!” at the top of her lungs.

Victoria looked at her barefoot sister with loose hair and asked, “How did you get yourself so disheveled?”

“Looking for you!” Amelia wanted to burst into tears but held them back when she saw Arnold.

“I’m fine,” Victoria smiled.

Amelia then recounted her encounter with Kaelin Johnson and what she had said, and asked, “If what Kaelin said was true, why was Caroline in the room?”

Victoria had also just found out. Fortunately, Arnold’s men were monitoring the situation, or she would’ve fallen into their trap.

Victoria looked at Arnold, eyes involuntarily filled with happiness.

“Tell me quickly, what exactly is going on?” Amelia urged.

Victoria replied, “His men have been secretly watching everything, so the spiked drink Kaelin switched was quickly switched back.”

“So, that means the drugged drink was actually drunk by Caroline, right?”

“Yes,” Victoria replied.

It was indeed the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind it.

“What about the person who led you into the room?” Amelia asked again.

Victoria smiled and replied, “It was one of his men, so the room I entered was actually arranged by him for me to rest.”

“Damn it!” Amelia was breathless from searching for her, while her sister had been resting leisurely all this time.

Victoria, of course, knew what her sister was thinking and explained, “I did call you, but no one answered your phone.”

Amelia’s mind was in a whirl.

“I didn’t bring my phone. It’s at the company,” she replied.

Of course, she didn’t dare to tell Victoria that she had snuck out, and that Henry Campbell was holding her phone the entire time.
