Victoria arranged for Candy Foster to have a talk with Taylor.

Taylor was an old employee at the factory and held the position of Deputy Factory Manager, managing some of the factory’s operations and the Marketing Department.

“Deputy Factory Manager Taylor, I believe you know why I’m here to talk with you. The issue with the new machines has been investigated, and you were the mastermind behind it,” said Candy.

Taylor realized that it would be pointless for him to continue making a fuss, as it would do no good.

After the incident, he contacted people at the Headquarters. They told him to bear with it, and as for his son’s work at Headquarters, they would find a way to help.

“Lee has already resigned, so I hope that Deputy Factory Manager Taylor can face this with sincerity, so as not to make things difficult for everyone.” Victoria did give face to this veteran employee even if she didn’t have to.

Taylor understood her meaning and offered no resistance. He only asked Victoria, “My son doesn’t know about what I did. After I leave, will he be fired for my sake?”

“Unless he commits a company violation, your wrongdoing will not affect him,” answered Victoria.

“That’s good,” Taylor finally said nothing more after moving his mouth.

Victoria did not bother to ask who at the Headquarters was behind Taylor’s actions.

In fact, she understood that Wyatt Lee was not idling while being at Headquarters.

Taylor’s son was working in the marketing department. Victoria had Candy investigate and found out that he was an ambitious and motivated young man who had no knowledge of his father’s actions nor of his plans to jeopardize everything for the sake of his son’s future at the Headquarters.

After Taylor left, Candy entered the room.

“I found out that the rumors were spread by Old Wang,” she said.

“Emily Nelson’s father?” Victoria asked.

“Yes,” replied Candy. “He had the same idea as Taylor. He did what he did for those at the Headquarters, in hopes that they would transfer Emily to work at Headquarters after completing their deeds.”

“Inform Human Resources to expedite the hiring process and fill in these vacancies. If there are suitable candidates from below, they can be directly promoted. Keep an eye on this for me,” Victoria instructed Candy.

“Alright, I know what to do,” Candy replied.

As Candy was about to leave, Emily rushed in.

Seeing Victoria and Candy, Emily looked embarrassed, apologizing, “Little Boss Garcia, I’m sorry.”

“Did your design have a problem?” asked Victoria.

Emily hastily explained, “No, it wasn’t that. It was my father… I just found out that he was the one who ordered people to spread those rumors. I asked him why he did it, and he said it was all for the sake of getting me into the Headquarters.”

“I’m sorry. It was all because of me.” While apologizing, Emily raised her hand and said, “Little Boss Garcia, I just want to work hard for you now, whether or not I go to the Headquarters doesn’t matter. You were the first person to appreciate me, so could you please not fire me?”

It seemed that the number of people she fired had indeed intimidated others.

Victoria smiled lightly and then responded, “It was your father who made the mistake, not you.”

Upon hearing this, Emily felt a mix of sadness and joy, “So, you’re not firing me, right?”

“You work hard and earnestly. I have no reason to fire you,” Victoria replied.

With Victoria’s affirmation, Emily finally felt relieved. She vowed in her heart to work hard and not do anything to disgrace the factory and Little Boss Garcia.
