Chapter 163 - 163 Unexpected Encounter 2

Chapter 163: Unexpected Encounter 2 Chapter 163: Unexpected Encounter 2 Alexa, after receiving the eye signal from the middle-aged man, did not hesitate to stand up.

Before, when she first came, she never thought that the man she would be conquering tonight would have such a handsome face. As a result, she no longer had the hesitation and shyness she felt when she first agreed, and instead became bold and proactive.

Victoria saw her chase after him and hesitated, wondering whether or not to remind him.

But on second thought, since Alexander Mitchell came and chose to leave, it means that he knows what’s going on. Thinking about all this, Victoria decided not to remind him.

Looking at the other official, flushed and drunk, Victoria couldn’t help but feel disgusted.

Compared to him, Alexander Mitchell was younger but much more sober-minded.

As Victoria was thinking about all this, her phone rang.

The caller ID displayed two words: Alexander Mitchell.

After two rings, Victoria answered the call.

“Victoria, I’m outside. Can you come out for a moment?” Alexander Mitchell stood outside the restaurant, facing the gentle breeze, his mind filled with countless fragments of the past.

Victoria hesitated whether to go out or not, but Alexander Mitchell on the other end said, “As a friend, don’t you want to see me?”

In fact, Alexander Mitchell had been really good to her in the past, even standing up for her when she needed help, except for the matter of her mother which led to their current situation.

“Okay, I’ll be out in a moment.”

Alexander Mitchell’s grip on his phone tightened, “Turn right after leaving the restaurant, the license plate number is XX9. I’ll wait for you inside.”

“Okay, got it.”

After Victoria finished speaking, she hung up the phone and turned to look at the Old Factory Director.

“I have something to do, so I need to leave. I’ll leave everything here to you,” Victoria said.

The Old Factory Director hesitated, and couldn’t help but persuade her, “The banquet has just started, since we’re here, let’s wait a little longer. We can go over to toast and have a chat before leaving, it’s not too late.”

Victoria glanced at the banquet and said indifferently, “I’ll find a chance to chat with them next time. If you want to stay tonight, go ahead and have some fun. If you’re tired, go back and rest.”

As she was determined to leave, the Old Factory Director didn’t say anything else.

“Then I’ll go with you and send you back,” the Old Factory Director said with concern, “It’s better for a girl to have someone escort her home at night.”

Victoria smiled and replied, “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. Emery will come to pick me up.”

Seeing her say this, the Old Factory Director nodded in agreement.

Victoria excused herself from the banquet table for a moment and prepared to leave.

As she was about to leave, a representative stood up to follow her.

“Miss Garcia, I didn’t get a chance to share a drink with you before you left so soon,” said the representative with peach blossom eyes that seemed somewhat wicked, “Since we didn’t drink, let me walk you out. There isn’t a place in Green City that I’m not familiar with.”

Victoria simply replied, “No need.”

Not even a single word of thanks, because she really disliked his peach blossom eyes. Such a pair of eyes on his face were simply a waste.

When Victoria refused, other representatives cheered loudly, “Ah, Green City! There are people who don’t fall for your charms, Mr. Carter. Better save your tricks.”

Mr. Carter, the representative that was called, watched the direction Victoria went, stroking his chin pensively, thinking that there was no need to hurry for today, he’d always find a way to approach her.
