Chapter 160: New Proposal Chapter 160: New Proposal In the following days, Victoria Garcia spent most of her time at the factory.

Candy Foster told her that there was still someone useful in the Design Department, so Victoria had her come to dinner that night.

When Victoria saw Emily Nelson for the first time, she saw a beautiful girl with a face full of youth and passion.

“Hello, Little Boss Garcia.”

It seemed that her nickname as Little Boss Garcia had become well known in the Old Factory.

“I guess you all know why I’m here, so I won’t beat around the bush. Let’s just be direct with each other.” Victoria said.

Emily was delighted to hear this, as she liked this straightforward approach.

“Little Boss Garcia, you can ask me anything you want to know. Although I haven’t been in the company for long, I’ll tell you as much as I can.” Emily said sincerely.

Victoria asked her calmly, “What are your thoughts on me firing your manager?”

Upon hearing this, Emily’s lips parted, then closed again, as if she was trying to find the right words.

“We just agreed to speak our minds,” Victoria encouraged her.

Seeing Victoria’s encouragement, Emily didn’t hesitate any longer and told her honestly, “Actually, I think your decision was the right one.”

Victoria didn’t respond, instead gesturing with her eyes for Emily to continue.

“Manager Gonzalez has been with the company for eight years. Since she became the manager, she’s looked down on other designers. Many talented designers have left the factory, unwilling to work under her. Those remaining are naturally the ones who don’t dare to resist her and are here just to pass the time.”

“What about you?” Victoria asked with a light, breezy tone.

Emily didn’t mind and laughed as she replied, “I’ve only been in the company for a year. It’s not easy to find a job in the big city. It’s difficult for someone like me, who didn’t graduate from a prestigious university, to become a designer. So I listened to my dad and decided to gain experience in Green City for a couple of years before returning to the big city. Plus, I have a dream of designing a bestselling product that gets recognized by the Headquarters, and maybe they’ll let me…”

At this point, Emily laughed at herself.

“It’s good to have such a goal; it shows you have ambition.”

Emily was thrilled with Victoria’s approval.

“I’ve spent a year at the factory, pouring my heart into designing clothes, but Manager Gonzalez rejected them all for various reasons. She continued to submit her own outdated products instead. The other designers have become accustomed to it, but I couldn’t get used to it and have argued with her several times.”

Originally, Emily was planning to leave the factory after working there for a month, but with Victoria’s arrival, she decided to stay. If she could do well under the new leadership and achieve results, it would be worth it.

“In that case, gather those designs that were rejected by Manager Gonzalez for me to take a look. If I think they’re good, I might consider including them in the new season’s product lineup,” Victoria said.

Upon hearing this, Emily’s heart soared with excitement.

“I’ll have them ready for you by tomorrow.”

Seeing the excitement in Emily’s eyes, Victoria felt happy, too.

Mustering up courage, Emily decided to make a suggestion to Victoria.

Victoria noticed that Emily still had something to say, so she continued to encourage her, “If you have any ideas or suggestions, just say it. As long as they’re reasonable, I’ll consider them.”

Emily felt that her idea might indeed be beneficial to the products, so she decided to share it.
