Chapter 435: Chapter 428: Wearing a Sinful Body
Although she consciously tried to control her strength, she didn’t expect that a single slap could sound so loud, even drowning out the laughter of Hu Daoke and Cheng Ziang. She herself was taken aback and was particularly tempted to look back at Luo’er’s condition.
Seeing Tangmo deliberately withdrawing into the carriage, Luo’er finally let out a sigh of relief. She had no idea that her slap would echo so loudly, even he hadn’t anticipated it. Although it didn’t hurt being struck on the face, it truly left him stunned, with his ears still buzzing.
Next, he shook his head, and then climbed into the carriage, avoiding the gazes of the surrounding Judgment Knights.
As soon as he entered the carriage, the first thing Tangmo did was rush to him, embracing him and checking his face for injuries. She asked with a regretful expression, "How is it? Did I hit you too hard? Are you hurt?"
"It’s okay, it sounds loud but it doesn’t actually hurt, you did well." Luo’er reassured her with a smile.
"This is the first and last time I’ll slap you." Tangmo said lovingly, gently touching his cheek in regret.
"It’s only acting." Luo’er said with a bitter smile.
"Even if it’s acting!" Tangmo retorted seriously.
"Alright..." Seeing her serious expression, Luo’er was at a loss for words.
Baiyue quietly watched their interaction, and finally approached Luo’er, sniffing around him like a little dog. Luo’er dodged her shyly, and asked in a helpless tone, "What are you doing?"
"Have you done something bad?" Baiyue asked with a wronged expression.
She looked as if she was the one being interrogated by Luo’er, without the assertiveness of an interrogator.
"Of course not, don’t you trust me either?" Luo’er smiled bitterly.
"You’ve never consulted me about anything." Baiyue lowered her head, murmuring softly.
"Luo’er is the best; he definitely won’t act recklessly. I can guarantee that!" Saying this, Tangmo naturally held onto his arm.
"Me too!" Baiyue echoed, unnoticeably clinging onto his other arm.
"You two..." The situation of being clung from both sides made Luo’er feel a little awkward, he felt like jumping off the carriage to escape this embarrassing situation.
"Luo’er, how should we deal with these two girls?" Tangmo moved her head to Luo’er’s arm and suddenly asked.
"Hmm, we can’t let them go yet. They are currently bearing guilt, the Judgment Legion bastards probably won’t let them go, and there are also potential criminals who may threaten them." Luo’er contemplated for a moment before responding.
"What if we take them to the ancient states?" Tangmo looked up at him and asked.
"No, who knows what risks await us in the ancient states? It may be more dangerous for them if we go there." Luo’er shook his head.
"How about sending them to the station?" Tangmo continued.
"Uh, let’s forget it. Last time when I sent Zhenli there, they were already looking at me weirdly." Luo’er replied awkwardly after a moment of hesitation.
"Then how should we handle them?" Tangmo asked.
"Well, wait until the Judgment Legion isn’t paying attention, then we’ll secretly let them go. Although the two sisters might not be able to return safely, staying with us is certainly dangerous." Luo’er concluded after a moment of pondering.
"I knew my Luo’er is the kindest person in the world!" With that, Tangmo affectionately hugged his arm and leaned her head against his chest.
"I want to as well..." Baiyue murmured by the side, doing the same thing and leaning her head against his chest.
"Ah, having you two already gives me enough trouble..." Luo’er sighed.
"What did you say?" Tangmo was taken aback, she raised her head to look at him and asked.
"No, nothing. Later you two should take care of them. We can’t play the good guys. There always has to be a carrot and a stick." Luo’er quickly changed the topic after a cough.
"Oh..." Tangmo sulked, she couldn’t make out Luo’er’s thoughts and felt displeased.
"At night, you two should accompany them to sleep in the tent, while the three of us will sleep in the carriage." Luo’er continued.
"It’s going to be so crowded inside the carriage for three people. Moon and I barely fit, let alone you three guys." Tangmo looked up and said.
"Yeah!" Baiyue agreed.
"It’s okay, just bear with it." Luo’er said.
"Luo’er, come and squeeze with us, let Little Ke and Ziang squeeze together." Tangmo suggested.
"No, I’m a man, why do I have to sleep with you?" Luo’er asked helplessly.
"You’re a gentleman, I trust you." Tangmo naturally responded.
"Then why don’t you let one of them join you?" Luo asked.
"No, we only like you!" Tangmo replied without hesitation.
"Those who are unloved are really pitiable..." Luo’er shook his head, beginning to feel sorry for Hu Daoke and Cheng Ziang.
"Alright, I’ll go handle this. Don’t let those two get too out of hand." After a while, Luo’er couldn’t stand the difficult situation any longer and struggled to get off the carriage.
"Please don’t, stay with us a little longer." Tangmo absolutely refused to let go.
"Fine, fine, there will be plenty of opportunities in the future." Luo’er said helplessly.
"Luo’er, why don’t we put on a show too!" Tangmo looked up at him, her face filled with a mischievous expression.
"What kind of show? No thanks." In the face of her gaze, Luo’er felt a bit at a loss and continuously struggled to get off the carriage.
"Don’t move, Yue’er, come and hold him down!" Seeing that Luo’er was about to break free, Tangmo urgently called out.
After much struggle, Luo’er finally managed to escape from the duo, disheveled and wearing the mixed scent of the two girls as he climbed down from the carriage.
"Wow, boss, you... are you for real?" Hu Daoke, who had been waiting outside, looked at Luo’er’s embarrassed figure and couldn’t help but comment.
"Do you really think it’s possible?" Luo’er gave him a disdainful look and asked weakly.
"Of course, it’s possible," Cheng Ziang, who came to disturb them, came forward. He patted Hu Daoke on the arm and said with a grin, "You’re about to become an uncle!"
"Ah, this, I’m not prepared yet!" Hu Daoke said in shock.
"Enough, how are those two?" Luo’er interrupted their shenanigans and asked.
"They’ve cried themselves to sleep." Cheng Ziang replied.
"Actually, they cried themselves unconscious..." Hu Daoke added from the side.
"Alright, we’ll let Moumou and Yue’er take care of them for a while. Tonight, we three might have to squeeze into the carriage to sleep." Luo’er said.
"Three?" Cheng Ziang asked, raising his eyebrows.
"What’s wrong?" Luo’er was taken aback and asked somewhat guiltily.
"No way, Moumou wouldn’t let you squeeze with us, would she?" Cheng Ziang said with a grin.
"She’s not the captain, what I say, goes!" Luo’er stated sternly.
"Luo’er, you’re being too gentlemanly, you might arouse suspicion from those guys." Cheng Ziang said, pointing at the lingering Judgement Knights in the distance.
"What do you mean?" Luo’er asked.
"Have you ever seen villains segregating sleeping quarters by gender? If we were serious, shouldn’t we have the two girls sleep with us?" Cheng Ziang explained.
"This..." Cheng Ziang was making sense, so Luo’er couldn’t find a rebuttal.
"So, you’re the captain. We’ll let you have the girls, and we two will squeeze into the carriage. That makes perfect sense." Cheng Ziang said, patting Luo’er’s shoulder. He had a vague smile on his face, as if he was deliberately making things difficult for Luo’er.
"Right, right, right, we’re okay with squeezing together, boss, you can be with them!" Hu Daoke nodded vigorously, then put his arm around Cheng Ziang’s shoulder.
"Why are you guys doing this too..." Luo’er sighed.
"I knew it, there’s no way Moumou would let you off." Cheng Ziang said, a triumphant smile spreading across his face.
After some arranging, the Advance Team made adjustments. Luo’er and Tangmo Baiyue slept in the tent with the two girls, while Cheng Ziang and Hu Daoke were squeezed into the carriage.
Their tent was quite large; it wouldn’t matter if everyone crammed inside. However, considering the two girls were newcomers, they needed to give them some suitable space. Otherwise, if three grown men barged in, the girls would be scared to death, not to mention any effort to comfort them.
In the evening, Tangmo and Baiyue brought food into the tent. The sight of the two of them entering made the two girls shudder, huddling closer together in fear.
Their ordeal today had been quite bewildering. Though they were scared half to death, their bodies weren’t injured. The two large men completely ignored them, wrestling with each other and occasionally coming over to scare them. As a result, both girls were frightened and cried until they passed out.
"You don’t have to be afraid, we’re not bad guys!" Tangmo squatted down, her face filled with a harmless smile.
"What about them?" The older girl among the two asked tremulously.
"They’re outside. You don’t have to be afraid of them either; they won’t hurt you." Tangmo continued to reassure them with a smile.
"Ma’am, please let us go." The elder sister plucked up the courage to say.
"It’s not that we don’t want to let you go, but with the state you’re in, going out means certain death." Tangmo consoled.
"How could that be?" The girl murmured.
"Of course it could. Don’t forget, you’ve been condemned. Not just the Judgement Legion, but even the people of your village have the authority to deal with you. So it’s best for you to behave and stick with us, and don’t try to run away." Tangmo said in the kindest tone possible.
"How could this happen..." The two girls huddled together, and as soon as they heard her words, they burst into tears.
