Chapter 434: Chapter 427: Real Performance, False Actions
"Oh my, holding on to them is tiring, why don’t we let them walk themselves!" Hu Daoke suggested and let go of the older sister among the two girls while tightly gripping her wrist."Be careful, the Judgement Legion may still be watching us. We need to keep up the act!" Cheng Ziang looked back momentarily, then released the younger sister, grabbing her arm to prevent her from escaping.
"I know, I know," Hu Daoke nodded his head, then spoke enthusiastically, "It feels quite thrilling, you know, this feeling of committing a crime. On Earth, such a crime could land you in prison for life."
"You..." Cheng Ziang gave him a disdainful look and fell silent.
They talked in Chinese, so the two Bobulu girls didn’t understand what they were saying. The older sister begged Hu Daoke desperately, "Sir, sir, please let my little sister go! Do whatever you want with me, she’s still young. Please, spare her!"
"What did you say? Just one for each of us!" Hu Daoke turned his head, showing a ferocious expression. His appearance was naturally wild like that of a beastman. His eyebrows were squeezed into a frown, scaring the older sister speechless.
"Okay, okay, stop intimidating the girl!" Cheng Ziang patted his arm and advised.
"Hey, are we really going to take these two back with us?" Hu Daoke hesitated and asked.
Cheng Ziang took a look around and then said, "If we let them go now, they will certainly face a dire fate. They have already been pronounced guilty by the court. Even if they return to their people, they may be reported to the Judgement Legion by those with ulterior motives. Never underestimate human nature."
"Really? So, a mere accusation is enough to ruin them both?" Hu Daoke asked surprisingly.
Cheng Ziang sighed deeply, then said, "This is why everyone fears the Judgement Legion. There are people in this world who deceive and manipulate, using their power to gain benefits, without considering ordinary people’s lives."
"So, what are they supposed to do?" Hu Daoke asked, looking at the older sister with a sympathetic gaze.
"Let’s bring them with us and figure it out later. As long as they’re with us, the Judgement Legion won’t harm them." Cheng Ziang looked at Luo’er’s back figure in the distance and stated firmly.
Despite being enemies of the Otherworld people and having unknown numbers of Otherworldly people’s blood on their hands, it was for their organization and their country. They wouldn’t dare commit atrocious acts for no reason, not even the usually stony-hearted Cheng Ziang.
The trio led the two newly-captured girls towards the camping site. The desperate girls, powerless to resist, let out helpless cries along the way, attracting a lot of onlookers.
Luo’er was completely unconcerned about the people’s gazes. If those people regarded them as villains, it only signified that his acting was perfect.
Not far from the tent, Tangmo and Baiyue, who had been waiting outside, saw them coming and eagerly came up to greet them.
"Luo’er, did you rescue them?" Tangmo looked at the two girls and then asked Luo’er with a raised head.
Luo’er sighed lightly, touched her head, and said emotionlessly, "You and Yue’er wait in the car. We have to take care of some matters."
"What are you going to do?" Tangmo asked uneasily.
"Behave! I’ll explain it to you later!" Luo’er said briefly.
"Oh, you guys..." Tangmo glanced at them, seeming to have guessed their intention, so she bit her lip and stopped asking.
"Let’s go, wait for them in the car." Tangmo pulled Baiyue’s hand and headed towards the carriage.
"Put them inside!" After sending the two girls off, Luo’er turned around, made a gesture to the two men, and said.
"Understood!" The two nodded, and then forcibly pulled the two girls into the tent.
Seeing the tent, the two girls anticipated what was about to happen. Their faces were pale, looking sullen, their cries brimming with tremors.
Luo’er glanced around, unbuttoned two buttons on his shirt, and then entered the tent.
The tent wasn’t small. Three big men could stand straight inside. The men brought two girls inside and roughly threw them on the ground. The ground, however, was covered with sleeping bags, so even though they were rough, they didn’t hurt the girls.
The briefly liberated girls huddled together, looking fearfully at the towering men in front of them. All three men were tall, especially the half-elf leading them, and a small hill-like half-beastman. Imagining what was about to happen, the two girls shivered, and their cries became more trembling.
Contrary to their anticipation, Luo’er didn’t pounce violently. His expression was calm. As soon as he entered the tent, he pulled out his pistol and pointed it at the two girls. Notably, he didn’t remove the safety from his gun.
"Do you know what this is," Luo’er crouched down, shook the gun in his hand, and said, "If you don’t want to die, you’ll cry as loud as you can, and scream as well."
The two girls didn’t understand Luo’er’s meaning. They looked at the strange Otherworldly magical weapon in Luo’er’s hand, feeling at a loss. Luo’er didn’t act violently as they’d expected nor did he soothe them gently. His face was devoid of any particular emotion, emitting an aura of "Keep away."
Looking at the two girls with a bewildered expression, Luo’er quietly sighed. To save these two girls, he knew he had to act, so that the Judgement Legion wouldn’t think they were just trying to rescue them innocently, possibly endangering their chances next time.
"It seems like you won’t shed tears until you’ve seen your coffins, Little Ke, give them a scare!" Luo’er said without turning his head.
"Yes, sir!" Hu Daoke responded loudly, then stepped forward to stand in front of the two girls, his face fierce and terrifying. He had already frightened the sisters before, so when they saw him reappear, the young girls couldn’t help but retreat.
"Cry, cry for me!" Hu Daoke thought for a moment, deciding to make them cry. But as soon as he reached out his hand, the two girls started screaming frantically, with the younger sister even bursting into tears.
"Eh, not bad." Hu Daoke revealed a smile at the sight of the girls crying pitifully.
"Make them cry louder!" Luo’er casually instructed from the side.
"Alright!" Hu Daoke replied. After brewing for a moment, he suddenly made a frightful grimace at the sisters.
"Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!!"
The girls were so frightened by him that their bodies went limp. Screeching and backing away, the younger sister even fainted.
"Oh, she fainted!" Realising that he had scared the little sister unconscious, Hu Daoke was suddenly at a loss.
Just then Luo’er stepped forward to catch the fainted sister. After checking her briefly, he reassured Hu Daoke: "It’s fine, she just needs to lie down for a bit."
Then standing up straight, he addressed the two: "Make some more noise here, as loudly as possible. In about half an hour, deal with them. I’m leaving first."
As he was about to leave the tent, walking past Cheng Ziang, Luo’er heard him snicker: "Hey, it’s only been a few minutes."
Recognising the teasing tone in his voice, Luo’er shot him a glare, and left the tent with a shake of his head and a sigh.
"How are we going to keep this up, with just the two of us left? We can’t get too carried away." Hu Daoke stood up from the ground and asked, looking at Cheng Ziang.
"It’s fine, just the two of us will do. Let’s do something different." Cheng Ziang suggested, raising his eyebrows suggestively.
"Sounds like you’re pretty gutsy." Hu Daoke praised, stepping forward.
"Kidding me, I’m super bold." Cheng Ziang confidently played along.
"Pretty bold, huh? Nice physique, really sturdy." Hu Daoke commented, giving Cheng Ziang’s arm a squeeze and licking his lips.
"I told you, I’ve been working out. You seem to be getting bolder too, want me to check you out!" Cheng Ziang retaliated almost instantly.
"Ah, you..." Caught off guard, Hu Daoke became Cheng Ziang’s victim as the two started wrestling.
"Hahahaha, quit messing around!" Laughter echoed from the tent.
Hearing the noises from the tent, Luo’er shook his head helplessly. These two really knew how to let loose, causing such a ruckus.
Glancing around again, he saw two Judgment Knights casually pacing not too far off, obviously keeping an eye on them. Fortunately, their acting was convincing enough to fool this bunch.
Listening to the laughter and cries from the tent, Luo’er finally relaxed, then turned to walk towards a nearby carriage.
"Luo’er!" As if through some psychic connection, just as Luo’er approached, Tangmo leapt out from the carriage to greet him.
"You guys..." Tangmo glanced worriedly at the tent, then at him, hesitating to ask her question.
"It’s fine, those two are just having fun." Luo’er reassured her.
"And you..." Tangmo began to reach out to touch his cheek.
"Slap me!" Luo’er suddenly requested.
"Why?" Tangmo stopped, surprised.
"No questions, just do it!" Luo’er ordered curtly.
"Oh..." Tangmo thought for a moment and quickly guessed what Luo’er was thinking. She promptly raised her hand and slapped Luo’er’s face, then stormed off back into the carriage in a huff.
