Chapter 145: Chapter 145 Returning The Favor
He paused when his eyes landed on Kelsie’s hand on Mark.
Mark didn’t notice his sudden dark countenance, but as the vain man that he was, he was quick to notice Jett’s expensive suit and flashed him a bright smile.
"You must be here to enroll your child. Give me a few minutes to take care of this situation."
"Stretch him out." Jett simply instructed the men behind him, confusing Mark.
As the men stalked towards him, he turned to Jett, hurriedly explaining, "Stretch me out? Good sir, I fear you’ve mistaken me for someone else. I’m the vice principal of this school so I have every right to be in here."
Jett ignored him as he walked to take his seat beside a surprise Kelsie.
She was surprised to see Jett, but that surprise only lasted for a second as Mark’s screaming voice broke into her thoughts.
She raised her eyes to see him struggling with the men dragging him to a corner of the room.
"Who are you? What are you doing? How dare you touch me? Do you even know who I am? Let go of me this instant or else..."
He naturally trailed off when he heard Jett introducing himself to the principal with a straight face.
"I’m Jesse Sutton’s father."
"What?" The principal was taken aback for a moment before she promptly corrected herself. "I mean, okay, you’re welcome."
Behind them, Mark Davidson laughed mockingly in realization.
"Hey, you must be a failure of a father if your son bears the last name of his mother. In that case, you can’t afford to harm me." fr\eewe.bn(o)v\el.c(o)m
"Do you know why? Because my brother is the vice counselor. If you touch even a strand of hair on my head, he won’t let you off!"
But neither Kelsie nor Jett turned to look at him.
Unable to break out of the men’s grip, Mark gritted his teeth and yelled at the principal with righteous indignation.
"Don’t just stand there, call security. Or better still, call my brother!"
However, the principal was reluctant and merely threw her face to the side. Finally, someone was teaching this rascal a lesson.
Though she knew it wouldn’t last, the least she could do was make him suffer a little before doing as he said.
With that thought, she began addressing the parents in front of her.
"I’ve just learnt of what happened to your son yesterday and I sincerely apologize for it. But assaulting Mr. Davidson isn’t the right way to go about it."
Jett raised a questioning brow, "Why not? He assaults people’s children all the time."
A lump got caught in the principal’s throat as she laughed nervously.
"Where did you hear that?"
Before Jett could respond, Mark butted in, shouting at her again, "What does it matter where he heard it? Why do you even engage in a conversation with them instead of calling my brother?"
"Oh, I think I know what this is about. You like to see me helpless and struggling with this men, don’t you?"
"You must see this as an opportunity to get back at me for how I’ve been treating you all these years."
"But listen to me, you darn wench! if you don’t tell them to let me go this instant, I assure you you’ll be losing your job once my brother learns of this disrespect!"
The principal finally panicked and flashed Kelsie and Jett a wary smile.
"Bruce Davidson is scary when it comes to his brother. So please, don’t whip him and let the school handle this situation."
At this, Kelsie scoffed angrily.
"You have a child, don’t you? Would you sit back and say this if your child was the one who got beaten up?"
The principal blinked speechlessly, her face changing.
Kelsie saw this and leaned forward, knocking three times on the table as she continued.
"I pay a hefty sum as school fees for my son to learn, not for that incompetence of a man to assault my boy."
"Clearly, he was hurting another child when my son came in, but only my son’s parents came."
"If he hadn’t butted in when he did and ended up getting my attention, the school would just sweep what your precious teacher did under the rug."
When she finished, the principal parted her lips to say something when Jett chimed in, "Don’t you worry, Ms. Principal, I’ll make sure no harm comes to you or your position."
Then he reached out to take the bag filled with rods and beckoned onto one of the men.
"You shouldn’t waste your energy returning the favor to such a scumbag. Which one of these do you intend on using?" He asked Kelsie as he rummaged through the rods.
Kelsie thought about his words and couldn’t help agreeing.
She had a surgery that’d last 13 hours by 11 this morning. It would really be a waste of her energy to spend it whipping such a scumbag.
"He didn’t say, but I soaked them all in water overnight. To make it fair, give him a few strokes with the healthiest and longest."
Jett hummed and handed the bag over to his security, "You heard her."
"Yes, sir."
Seeing the man walk back with the bag, Mark panicked and desperately began struggling to escape the grip of the other two men.
"Don’t you hear a word I just said? You’d get in trouble if you touch me. How much did they pay you? I’ll pay you three times of that!"
However, the men paid him no heed and proceeded to lie him down, stretching and holding him down firmly for the man with the rods to whip him properly.
As his painful screams filled the room, Kelsie and Jett couldn’t help admiring the strength of the man whipping him.
"Does he have a degree in whipping people? Look how effortless, but painful he’s doing it." Kelsie smacked her lips in satisfaction.
Jett glanced at her and chuckled.
"I know, right? I hear he’s a disciplinarian abroad. Students and adults in general hate to see his rod coming."
"Not bad. You’re not so bad then." She tutted approvingly.
A mischievous glint flashed past Jett’s eyes as he leaned towards her a little.
"Don’t you think I deserve a reward for doing such a good deed?"
Mark’s painful screams were like music to Kelsie’s ears that she didn’t know when she nodded her head in agreement.
"Sure."
A moment later, the office’s door was suddenly pushed open and a man of average height who seemed to be in his late forties strutted into the room.
Mark’s eyes shimmered brightly and he exhaled in relief seeing him.
A second later, he broke down in tears, weakly calling out to the man.
"B-brother, look what these retards did to me!"
