Chapter 143: Chapter 143 Meeting Mr. Mark Misogynist Davidson

Infuriated by this nerve-grating comparison, Craig didn’t know when he raised his hand to slap him again.

But this time, he stopped himself on time and calmly withdrew his hand from Boyce’s collar.

Forcing on a smile, he tried to smoothen the crumpled collar as he said, "You look tired, son."

"Your grandparents will be having their monthly checkup tomorrow. Why don’t you go to bed early so you can be there with them?"

"Okay, father." Boyce didn’t think twice before he nodded.

Then he turned and left the room without a word.

The following morning, he got ready to go to Haven Medical Center while Kelsie got Zade and Keira ready for school.

When they got outside, a car drove to their front and a familiar face alighted from it to hand her a key.

"This is a replacement for your car for what happened yesterday." Said Eric as he handed Kelsie the car key, his eyes briefly going to Zade and Keira in confusion.

She didn’t have one, but three children? If they were Jesse’s siblings, did that mean his boss was the father of all three of them?

As he thought like this, Keira paused her video call with Jesse in disbelief.

"Mommy, did you get a new car?"

"Mommy got a new car? Quick, show me!" Hearing her, Jesse sat up excitedly and loudly giggled when he saw the silver Porsche Panamera.

Kelsie made a move to hand back the car key when Zade quickly held her by her suit pant.

"Mommy, we’re going to be late for school."

"Well... tell him I’ll use it just for..." She trailed off when she saw the man putting EarPods in both ears.

Of course. Only a jerk would work for another jerk.

If she saw that Adler guy, she’d be sure to run him over with this car.

Half an hour later, she was sitting in the principal’s office, one leg crossed on the other.

The principal was surprised to hear such a thing happened in the school and promptly called for Mark Davidson.

Two minutes later, a bald-headed man with tight fitting suit waltzed into the office.

When he saw the young lady in a fiery red tuxedo, he was slightly taken aback.

"What? We don’t need any more teachers in our school."

The principal looked him over, doing nothing to hide the spite in her eyes as she began, "Mr. Davidson, I’m aware there’s a Jesse Sutton in the classroom you teach. This is his mother, Kelsie Sutton."

Instantly, Mark Davidson’s shimmering eyes from earlier turned to that of disdain as he instantly realized something.

"Jesse Sutton, Kelsie Sutton, he bears your last name. You don’t have to make it obvious you’re a single mother."

"What?" The principal’s lips twitched in anger.

However, Mark Davidson took his seat beside Kelsie, man-spreading his legs as he scoffed, "So what does she want with me?"

The principal parted her lips to say something when the man suddenly smiled in realization.

"Ah, I think I know what this is about. You must’ve come because of what happened to your brat of your son yesterday, not so?"

Kelsie only told the principal her son had suffered from school violence yesterday.

Naturally, she assumed it must be school violence between children and called Jesse’s classroom teacher to know exactly what happened.

Leaning towards her table, she asked Mark Davidson confusion, "Brat? What are you talking about? Did something happen between you and Jesse Sutton?"

The man wouldn’t look at her as he sneered in contempt.

"Of course you wouldn’t know. I heard you went home early yesterday to cook for your husband and child. That’s what an irresponsible woman should do."

"If you weren’t doing a good job as principal, I would’ve long adviced you to quit your job and be a full-time housewife. You need to properly take care of your husband."

The principal’s face instantly darkened.

"Mr. Davidson, I’d like you to remember that you’re in the presence of the school’s principal."

Mark huffed in irritation, turning to look at her scornfully.

"What can you do? If you report me to to the school, I’ll report you too. Who do you think they’d keep between us? Not only do I do more work, I’m also a man."

"Besides, my brother is the vice counselor. You reporting me to the school won’t do me much harm."

"You’ll be the one losing your job in the long run. So just keep your mouth shut and continue being in that seat. Do we understand each other?"

The principal’s face turned ashen, but she pressed her lips tightly together not to let a word slip.

Just like he said, his brother really was the vice counselor. There was nothing she could do to harm him.

After threatening her, Mark hissed and turned to a silent Kelsie.

"Hey, about what happened to your son yesterday, it’s because he’s bad-mannered. He acts like he’s above me or something."

"I never really got a chance to teach him a lesson all these while until yesterday when he suddenly butted in while I was disciplining an unruly child."

"Well, I’m not surprised. I’ve lived on this earth long enough to know that children raised only by their mother are all bad-mannered."

"They also neber amount to anything in life and end up being useless to our society. As a result, I’ve made it a priority to teach them properly while they’re still young."

Kelsie suddenly turned to look at him, her cold eyes startling him for a second.

Sucking in a deep breath, he moved his hand as if to slap her, but halted and glared at her.

"What is that look for? I ought to teach you a lesson for looking at me with such ill-intentions."

"This is the problem with women. Always so prone to their emotions and never taking corrections when necessary."

The words had just rolled off his tongue when Kelsie chuckled softly.

"Then... shall I show you just how prone I am to my emotions?"
