Obsessive Tycoon and His Swan Girl -
Chapter 87 - 87 87 Making a Fortune through Liquor
Chapter 87: Chapter 87: Making a Fortune through Liquor Chapter 87: Chapter 87: Making a Fortune through Liquor Gu Jiaheng settled into the car and felt that it had been an utterly unlucky day.
Thinking back, it was all related to Jiang Zhe, was she taking revenge on him, choosing Jiang Fanyue, and pushing her into a pit of fire?
…
Jiang Zhe got off the bus, and across the street, a flashy green sports car was parked at the intersection.
As soon as her foot stepped off the bus, a stylish woman clad in a leather jacket approached quickly, resting a hand on Jiang Zhe’s shoulder, “Miss, wanna hang out?”
“Hang out for what?” Jiang Zhe glanced at her and asked nonchalantly.
“Drink, pick up guys. You in?”
“Not interested.” Jiang Zhe shrugged, holding her school bag.
“Come on, Xiaozhe! I’ve come all the way from abroad, not to be rejected by you.”
She took off her sunglasses, revealing a charming face.
“Handsome guys, not interested.” Jiang Zhe’s expression remained unchanged.
“Drinking’s fine, right! I, Yang Feiliu, only take off after I finish drinking!”
Jiang Zhe was dragged into the sports car by Yang Feiliu, her face full of helplessness.
Yang Feiliu wore a leather jacket and skirt, with a revealing thin undergarment accentuating her cleavage.
Driving as dangerously as her attire, Jiang Zhe always yearned for public transportation every time she rode in Yang Feiliu’s car.
“Let me tell you, the exclusive wine I got from Night Alliance last time, I went through all the trouble to bring it back to the country, and I even saved two bottles for you. You’ve got to try them today.”
Jiang Zhe had heard about these two bottles of wine countless times. Wine was Yang Feiliu’s lifelong passion.
A good bottle of wine could hang on her lips for years.
A bottle of fine wine from Night Alliance, Jiang Zhe knew if she refused again, she would probably be dragged by Yang Feiliu into a grave.
The car screeched to a halt in front of a bar; Jiang Zhe got out, stepped on solid ground, and followed Yang Feiliu into a bar.
When the two appeared at the entrance of the bar, countless gazes, like predators hunting prey, all focused on them simultaneously.
Yang Feiliu looked hot and sexy, dressed provocatively.
Jiang Zhe was cool and enchanting, with a pair of long legs that were incredibly conspicuous, sticking out from under her school uniform skirt, long and straight.
As the two walked in, those scrutinizing gazes turned hot.
“Sit.” Yang Feiliu picked a spot and sat down first.
Jiang Zhe sat down next to her, her long legs casually positioned, her school uniform strikingly conspicuous in the bar.
Yet the look on her face somehow invoked awe, and those staring gazes, for a moment, dared not linger on her, quickly turning to Yang Feiliu, as if their gazes could get something from her.
Yang Feiliu snapped her fingers, and a waiter immediately came over.
“Bring two bottles of the best wine, and one bottle of mine that I’ve stored here.”
Soon, the wine was served.
Two of the bottles were top-grade red wines from the bar, while the other, without any labels or packaging, was set plainly in front of them.
“Let me tell you, Xiaozhe, you’ve got to try this wine, I guarantee you’ll fall in love with it after drinking,” Yang Feiliu said while pouring the wine, “Anyway, since you’re here tonight, it won’t matter if I drink a bit more, right?”
“Drink whatever you want.” Jiang Zhe took her half-filled glass, “I’ll only drink this much.”
“Try it quickly. The one snatched from Night Alliance, let’s see how it tastes.”
Yang Feiliu and Jiang Zhe clinked their glasses.
Jiang Zhe had little interest in wine, and she almost never drank.
It was Yang Feiliu, however, who loved wine as if it were her life, always eager to have a taste wherever there was good wine to be found.
Jiang Zhe took a sip; the liquor was unexpectedly mellow and flavorful.
Every time Jiang Zhe sipped a little, Yang Feiliu would gulp down half a glass.
Fanyue hadn’t even finished her half-glass, and Yang Feiliu’s bottle was already nearing its end.
“It’s gone that fast?” Yang Feiliu still wanted more as she opened another bottle and poured half a glass.
She took a sip and immediately spat it out, “What is this stuff? It’s terrible!”
“It’s easy to escalate from frugality to luxury, but hard to go back,” Jiang Zhe said lightly, taking a sip from his glass. He watched as she spat out a wine that cost tens of thousands per bottle.
That spit must have wasted hundreds of dollars at least.
Yang Feiliu picked up the bottle with no label and fussed with it, draining it until the last drop was gone, before setting it down: “Can’t the Night Alliance be intercepted every few days? I could make a fortune off the wine supply difficulty.”
“You think it’s that easy to intercept Night Alliance goods?” Jiang Zhe put down his glass, his usually sober cheeks flushed a rare red.
“You say, if I go and mess with the Night Alliance’s goods…” Yang Feiliu was not yet over the idea, still smacking her lips.
Jiang Zhe glanced at her, “If you do that, the wine I manage to get will probably only reach you by Qingming Festival.”
“Tch, tch, tch.” Yang Feiliu gave up on the idea, losing interest in the fancy drink in her glass, “Xiaozhe, look, at nine o’clock, there’s a pretty decent guy.”
Watching the crowd and flirting without attachment was Yang Feiliu’s preserve after drinking.
Jiang Zhe watched her stand up as if it were nothing unusual.
“I’ll go over there now.” Yang Feiliu straightened her clothes and stood up.
While she was busy with cute guys, Jiang Zhe was disinterested, looking down at his phone to reply to messages.
Back in the WeChat group, Xiao Meng and Si Qing, who had already left, were discussing a problem, and Jiang Zhe casually sent over an answer.
“That’s right, we couldn’t figure out this step no matter what. Where did you get this answer, Jiang Zhe?” Si Qing asked.
“Searched it online.”
“Oh.” Si Qing responded, feeling puzzled, “What site?”
He had searched for quite a while earlier and hadn’t found this type of problem; otherwise, he wouldn’t have discussed it with Xiao Meng on WeChat.
“Baidu.” Jiang Zhe typed effortlessly.
Is that so? Si Qing scratched the back of his head, wondering how Baidu could have it.
Was his Baidu not updated, being so outdated?
In the bar, on the second-floor private room.
Five or six young men were lounging on sofas, chatting leisurely.
Three of them were playing a game of Fight the Landlord, and amidst their chatter, one of them was losing quite a bit.
Qin Jingchen sat in the seat of honor, his fingers holding the Buddha Beads and gently rotating them.
Such a sight was rare.
To see the Qin Family’s master in a bar, much less drinking, was unusual – he normally opted for a simple cup of tea and some beads, content to sit quietly for an afternoon.
Only having seen Qin Jingchen out more these past few days had everyone slowly gotten used to the fact.
Yet here he was, coming to the bar only to fiddle with his phone, and nobody knew if he was waiting for a message or what.
He Zizhou, who was dealing the cards, nudged Fen Ye’s arm, “What’s the deal? Gotten bored of the Buddha Beads and now Jingchen’s taken to playing with his phone?”
“Get lost, stop talking nonsense. Focus on your cards,” Fen Ye took the cards and pushed He Zizhou’s arm back.
But he did suspect, was Jingchen thinking about Jiang Zhe?
It hadn’t been many days since the guy went to the Qin Family’s place, yet he was already missing him?
