Obsessive Tycoon and His Swan Girl
Chapter 405 - 395: You Broke My Daughter’s Leg?

Chapter 405: Chapter 395: You Broke My Daughter’s Leg?

The entire surgical process was performed under the watchful eyes of other doctors.

After it was done, not one of the observing doctors had blinked their eyes. Was this really a surgery? Or could it have been an art exhibition?

From making the incision, extracting the bone fragments, to dealing with the broken bone and suturing the wounds, Jiang Zhe’s speed was astonishingly fast and without any negligence.

"You may all leave now,"

Hearing Jiang Zhe’s words, the doctors left with faces full of amazement.

He Ling, seeing the doctors come out, was incredulous and shocked, while there was still no sign of Jiang Zhe coming out.

His heart felt as if it had died.

After the surgery, Xia Enci weakly regained consciousness, with tears lingering at the corners of her eyes.

Upon seeing Jiang Zhe, she tried to sit up while supporting herself.

"Don’t get up. Your leg bone is fractured. The surgery is done, and it was very successful, but you need bed rest. Tell me, who did this?"

"It was Tang Xinru!"

Jiang Zhe’s eyes narrowed slightly as he took off his surgical gown and turned to leave.

Upon seeing her come out, He Ling immediately asked, "How is Enci? How is she now?"

Jiang Zhe ignored her and quickly walked out. He Ling immediately rushed into the operating room, followed by He Zizhou.

"Are you alright? Does it hurt?" He Ling hurried in and saw that Xia Enci’s leg had been properly bandaged, suggesting the surgery was very successful.

He approached Xia Enci with concern.

Xia Enci had never cried before, but now she sobbed with a sense of grievance.

He Ling felt somewhat helpless at the moment, unsure of what to do.

Finally, he leaned down to embrace her, "It’s all right now, don’t cry. I’ll find the best doctors to take care of you and help you recover."

Xia Enci finally stopped crying, "I can’t believe I didn’t win against Tang Xinru!"

He Zizhou: "..."

He Ling: "..."

Xia Enci said, "Xiaozhe said the surgery was very successful and I’ll be fine after some rest. If she says it’s okay, then it must be."

By the time Jiang Zhe went over, the surgery on Tang Xinru’s side had already finished.

She seemed to have more severe injuries than Xia Enci, her body was plastered with wounds and wrapped tightly.

But judging by the duration of the surgery, her injuries should have been much less severe than Xia Enci’s.

The doctors had already left, leaving only a nurse instructing Tang Xinru on postoperative care.

The Tang Family members were absent.

"You can go now," Jiang Zhe said to the nurse.

The nurse, having finished giving the instructions, looked up at Jiang Zhe and immediately left.

Tang Xinru, seeing Jiang Zhe approach, was not at all panicked and said indifferently, "Are you here to apologize for Xia Enci? Let me tell you, I won’t accept anyone else’s apology. Even if Xia Enci came to apologize herself, I would refuse. If Xia Enci dares to hurt someone, she should be ready to go to jail."

"Was it you who injured Xia Enci’s leg?" Jiang Zhe asked.

Hearing Jiang Zhe change the subject, Tang Xinru became furious, "How dare you question me? Why don’t you ask what Xia Enci did?"

Jiang Zhe walked up to her, raised her wrist, and grabbed one of Tang Xinru’s legs.

Tang Xinru was shocked, "Jiang Zhe, what are you doing! What are you doing! Qin Jingchen, help me!"

Qin Jingchen stood beside Jiang Zhe, utterly ignoring Tang Xinru’s cries for help.

Realizing his excessive protection of Jiang Zhe, Tang Xinru shouted loudly, "Help!"

Qin Jingchen walked to the door, casually closed it, and locked it.

The soundproofing of the upscale convalescent room was so effective that it completely isolated her screams. Tang Xinru felt a chill in her heart. What on earth was Jiang Zhe going to do?

The next second, Jiang Zhe answered Tang Xinru’s question with her actions. With swift movements, she snapped Tang Xinru’s tibia in her hand.

Tang Xinru screamed in pain, her voice hoarse and strained, her body curled up like a cooked shrimp.

At that moment, there came a knock at the door.

Jiang Zhe reluctantly let go of Tang Xinru’s leg, withdrawing his hand as if nothing had happened.

Qin Jingchen walked over and opened the door.

Mr. and Mrs. Tang stood at the doorway.

"Mr. Qin?" They were both surprised and delighted to see Qin Jingchen.

Could it be that Qin Jingchen actually came to visit his daughter?

They then heard Tang Xinru’s loud cries of pain.

"Xinru? What’s wrong with you? What happened?"

Mrs. Tang rushed over, very worried at the sight of her daughter’s agony: "You were fine when we left just now, what happened to you?"

"My leg is broken, it was her... it was Jiang Zhe... she broke it."

Tang Xinru cried as she accused Jiang Zhe, tears uncontrollably streaming down her face.

"You broke my daughter’s leg? You! Old Tang, call the police!" Mrs. Tang was furious, about to hit Jiang Zhe.

But before she could strike, she saw Qin Jingchen step in front of Jiang Zhe.

No matter what, she couldn’t bring herself to hit.

"Mr. Qin, please step aside, I must teach her a lesson today!" Even though Mrs. Tang was angry, she still spoke politely in front of Qin Jingchen.

Qin Jingchen spoke calmly, "Jiang Zhe has done nothing."

Mrs. Tang was stunned.

Qin Jingchen held Jiang Zhe’s hand: "How could such a delicate girl do such a cruel thing?"

Jiang Zhe, slim and wearing a school uniform, had beautiful features, and her entire presence was delicate.

"It was her!" Tang Xinru was even more furious to hear Qin Jingchen blatantly lie.

"I didn’t see it, I suggest you take your evidence and call the police," Qin Jingchen said coldly.

Mr. and Mrs. Tang were even more perplexed, and they realized that Qin Jingchen was not here to visit Tang Xinru, but to accompany Jiang Zhe.

After Qin Jingchen finished speaking, he left with Jiang Zhe.

Mrs. Tang called for a doctor while looking at her daughter: "Did Jiang Zhe really hit you?"

When Tang Xinru heard her mother’s doubtful tone, she was choked with anger.

He Ling had also called the police.

The police came and asked Xia Enci for her statement.

Jiang Zhe sat aside, holding a cup of water, listening indifferently.

Xia Enci recalled the events carefully.

She returned to the dorm that night, and neither Jiang Zhe nor Zhang Lingling were there, only Tang Xinru was.

Because Tang Xinru always had a baseless pride, Xia Enci didn’t bother talking to her.

After reading their books, it was almost eleven o’clock, time for the lights out at school.

In the darkness, Tang Xinru asked, "Zhang Lingling said she won’t be back tonight. What about Jiang Zhe?"

"Xiaozhe isn’t coming back either."

"You should have said so earlier if you’re not coming back, I am going to lock the door," Tang Xinru said, though she then ordered Xia Enci, "You go lock the door."

"I’m about to lock it. Xiaozhe told me she wouldn’t be back already."

Tang Xinru snorted: "She’s so fond of staying with her boyfriend, she might as well move out, why bother occupying a dorm space, and causing trouble for others."

Xia Enci, who had a short temper, let her remarks about herself slide, but not when it came to Jiang Zhe: "What do you mean? Has Xiaozhe not coming back ever caused you any trouble?"

"She has the nerve to mess around outside? Which college student behaves like her, surrounded by a bunch of men every day?" Tang Xinru’s words turned into personal attacks.
