Obsessive Tycoon and His Swan Girl -
Chapter 387 It’s Just Okay
Chapter 387: Chapter 387 It’s Just Okay
Several students from the Traditional Chinese Medicine department were over here looking for a teacher they needed to see, and they all lifted their eyes to look at Jiang Zhe.
Jiang Zhe’s arrival to register in the morning had caused quite a stir.
She most likely picked up the books from Professor Tan around that time.
This stack of books on the desk is so thick, and it’s not even lunchtime yet, has she really finished reading them all?
Everyone’s gazes varied with thought, obviously, almost none of them could believe it.
Since Jiang Zhe had said so, Professor Tan didn’t try to persuade her further and said, "Alright then. If you want to read them again later, come by any time to get them."
"Mhmm." Jiang Zhe responded.
After she and Xia Enci had eaten at the cafeteria, they went back to the dormitory again.
Just as Jiang Zhe arrived at the dormitory, she was overwhelmed by a mountain of roses.
On top of the roses, there was a large label with "Jiang Zhe (Recipient)" written on it.
Xia Enci said with delight, "Did your brother-in-law send them?"
Jiang Zhe’s face was cold, "No."
Qin Jingchen wouldn’t do something so frivolous.
"There’s a card." Xia Enci pulled out a card from the roses, "Take a look."
Jiang Zhe took it and opened it, a line of very bold font greeted her: "Jiang Zhe, enjoy your university life. Kuo."
Qin Kuo?
Jiang Zhe felt like she had met him, yet not fully met him.
Her face turned stern, and she said to Xia Enci, "Help me find someone to toss all this stuff into the trash."
"No need for someone else, I can do it myself."
Xia Enci immediately rolled up her sleeves and began moving the roses outside.
Jiang Zhe’s phone vibrated, and she checked the message notification.
"Did you like the flowers you received?"
Without a doubt, it was sent by Qin Kuo.
She typed a reply, "Don’t like."
Then she promptly blocked him.
Qin Kuo from Beicheng Continent, upon seeing the exclamation mark in front of the message he sent once more, couldn’t help but laugh, this woman, truly had thorns.
Not until the roses were properly dealt with did Jiang Zhe enter the dormitory.
Only then did she realize they had two new roommates.
"You’re Jiang Zhe, right? We can barely get out of our room because of all the roses. Can you take care of them?" The person who spoke looked somewhat familiar.
Xia Enci recognized her, "Aren’t you Tang Xinru?"
"Yes, I am." Tang Xinru lifted her chin, "I didn’t expect to be living with a freshman."
She was already a third-year and wasn’t happy about being placed with freshmen, let alone with Jiang Zhe and Xia Enci. It was indeed a narrow escape.
She sized up Jiang Zhe, "After all, school is a place for studying. I hope you don’t bring bad habits to campus, affecting everyone’s learning and living."
"This area is still cleaned by me, how could a couple of roses affect anything?" Xia Enci retorted unwillingly.
Tang Xinru snorted and didn’t say anything else. She had also just returned from Professor Tan’s office and had seen the numerous treasured study materials given to Jiang Zhe.
Even she, as a third-year student, hadn’t had access to some of the content that Professor Tan had provided to Jiang Zhe.
Then Jiang Zhe returned everything in less than two hours, claiming she had finished reading them all.
It was quite laughable.
Showing off a little too much.
"Alright, we’re all roommates, let’s get along well from now on. I’m Zhang Lingling, also a third-year." Another girl spoke up.
Seeing her being friendly, Xia Enci greeted her with the same friendliness, "My name is Xia Enci."
Jiang Zhe looked up at her, "Jiang Zhe."
"Jiang Zhe, Xia Enci, hello everyone. Let’s take good care of each other from now on." Zhang Lingling said quickly, giving off a very approachable vibe.
"That’s right, living together means we should have mutual affection," Xia Enci nodded.
Tang Xinru felt invisibly isolated and, picking up a book, turned and left the dormitory.
As school hadn’t officially started yet, that afternoon, Zhang Lingling took Xia Enci to wander around the campus to get familiar with the layout. Jiang Zhe didn’t join them.
After receiving a call from Qin Jingchen, she took her backpack and left the dormitory.
At the school gate, she saw Qin Jingchen’s car parked there.
She got in the car, and a bouquet of flowers was handed to her.
It was a bouquet of Emperor Phoenix Stars, exceedingly rare flowers, stunningly exquisite, like an aloof ice beauty untouchable and high above.
They matched Jiang Zhe’s temperament perfectly.
"Why are you sending flowers for no reason?" Jiang Zhe accepted them, touching them slightly.
"Someone else’s were too common, so I ordered a bouquet suitable for you."
Jiang Zhe: "?"
How did he know she had received flowers?
Qin Jingchen handed her his phone.
Jiang Zhe swiped to the webpage, which was the forum of the Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine University.
The flowers that Jiang Zhe had received earlier had been photographed and posted on a thread.
