Sophie Smith sat in the corner, like an invisible person, until someone uneasily approached her.

"Tell me, what’s your name?" Sophie looked up, discovering a pair of leering eyes staring at her. She hadn’t expected that in such a sorry state, someone would be interested in her.

"Sophie Smith." She said truthfully.

"Oh, Sophie Smith." The man suddenly understood and nodded, "Sunny introduced you here, right? She said you want to have an endorsement for products under my company?"

Sophie was hesitating on how to respond but noticed Asher Land’s gaze fixed on her, if she wasn’t mistaken, it was disdain and contempt.

But, why does he dare to look at her like that? Doesn’t he make her disdain him too? Heartless, treating women like playthings...

His list of sins is too numerous to count, so she wouldn’t be influenced by him or let him control her.
