"Rose, President Land really dotes on you, even agreed to go shopping with you. You know, President Land is a very busy person." Rose Sterling’s assistant sighed from the side, but Sophie Smith pretended not to hear.

"Just be envious; President Land wouldn’t agree with just anyone." Rose Sterling spoke to her assistant, but her gaze was fixed on Sophie Smith.

Sophie Smith had heard about the past relationship between her and Asher Land. It was said that Asher Land abandoned Hazel Quinn for her and visited the film set every day during the shooting of "City of Desire." The reason she said this was actually to mock Sophie; such a novice actress didn’t have the right to be Asher Land’s woman after all.

Rose Sterling joyfully shopped madly at various boutique counters, while Asher Land stood behind her, watching indifferently.

He took out a gold card from his wallet and tossed it to Rose Sterling.

"Buy whatever you want; I’m leaving."

"No, President Land, you promised to accompany me." Rose Sterling pouted, expressing dissatisfaction.

He had no interest in Rose Sterling; being with her was just an act for Sophie Smith. He just wanted to see her reaction.

"Sir, are you sure you want more?" The server looked at Asher Land drinking so aggressively, feeling uneasy. He was drinking way too fast.

"I’m here to drink, so stop talking nonsense." He placed the glass on the bar and requested an even stronger vodka.
