The tear finally slipped from the corner of her eye. It seemed that she was becoming increasingly fragile, increasingly vulnerable. Under his heavy blows, the former Sophie Smith could never return.

Sophie Smith received a phone call from Eva Miller, who was now filming on set. She said everything was progressing smoothly and hoped she could find some time to help arrange a meeting with Asher Land to properly thank him.

She stared at his number on the phone screen, unable to press the call button for a long time.

But just when she was hesitating, Asher Land called her.

"What are you doing now?" It seemed he was in a good mood; she could tell from his voice.

"Filming a promotional video."

"Are you free tonight?" he asked.

Sophie thought for a moment but still said no.

Asher Land was a bit annoyed. He had finally managed to cancel several engagements tonight to spend time with her, only to be turned down flatly again.
