The question kept repeating in Terrence’s brain as he walked around the mall.

It was a plausible reason, after all.

"Oh well, lemme just think about that some other time. Might as well discuss it with Edwin, too." he sighed.

Checking his list, Terrence went inside a small shop to buy a tent. He made sure that at least 3 people could fit inside it.

He did not want to suffer in a tight space, especially with his tall height.

Other than that, Terrence wanted his tent to accommodate some people, whether for just talking or eating in peace.

Who knows, and it might be helpful to them in the end?

"Is this all, Sir?" The sales attendant, who had been following Terrence since he went inside the store, asked.

Terrence silently nodded. He looked at the items in the sales attendant’s hands and thought if it was too much.

"A tent, an automatic griller, inflatable bed..."

It wasn’t too much, was it?

The sales attendant led Terrence to the counter. There, he paid the whole amount using the money from his system.

After that, Terrence went to the grocery store just to shop for some chips and foods they could snack on in the middle of the time.

It sounds wrong, but he was excited for tomorrow.

However, he took enough quantity that it would be enough for all of them.

Terrence sighed as he lined up. There were a lot of people buying their groceries.

As Terrence waited in line, he saw some familiar people at the other lines. They used to be their customer back when he was working under Edwin.

Since Edwin’s grocery store closed, the people had no choice but to go there since it was the nearest to their town.

However, comparing the price, they now have to spend more and get less of what they need just to afford the bill.

It took Terrence 30 minutes just to get his turn. He smiled back at the people greeting him as they finished buying.

The people could remember Terrence since he was very helpful to them when they were grocery shopping in Edwin’s shop.

Terrence sighed. He did not know how he would carry all the bags on his hands. Fortunately, the items he bought from the tent shop earlier were only in one bag.

Terrence left the mall, his mind preoccupied with thoughts about what he would do for tomorrow. He hailed a taxi and settled into the backseat, the shopping bags resting at his feet. As the vehicle weaved through the city streets, he couldn’t shake off the feeling of anticipation in his mind.

Arriving home, Terrence paid the fare and lugged the bags inside. He dropped them in his room and looked at all of them. He mentally ticked off items he’d need to pack.

His clothes, essentials, and the camping gear.

He carefully laid all the items he would bring across his bed. He mentally counted the number of clothes he would bring. He made sure to bring an extra piece for each clothing item.

Rushing around, Terrence hastily stuffed his newly acquired camping gear into a backpack. The tent, the griller, and the inflatable bed took up quite some space, but he managed to fit them snugly.

On the other side, his clothes and food went inside his luggage. He sneaked in some in the backpack, too, just in case.

As he zipped up the bag, he glanced at the notification blinking on his phone. It was a message notification; however, he couldn’t see where and to whom it came from

Terrence sighed deeply. Now that he was all done, he could finally relax.

He didn’t check the notification on his phone first; rather, he lay down on the bed and opened his status window.
