Chapter 59: A LOT OF THINGS TO DO
Chapter 59: A LOT OF THINGS TO DO
A new morning meant a new day.
Terrence woke up feeling refreshed. His mood was light, and so was the feeling of his body. The soreness of his hand and upper body magically went away.
Terrence looked at the time on his phone. Now he understood why he felt that way. He slept for so long that it was almost lunchtime already.
"What time did I even sleep yesterday?’ he asked himself. He couldn’t remember it. However, he knew for sure that it wasn’t even 10 pm at that time.
Terrence stood up. He took his trash with him.
He went outside and saw that his parents were gone. They must have gone out together and didn’t bother to wake him up since he was still asleep and his door was locked.
Straight ahead, Terrence went to the trash and threw the contents of the trash bin. He sanitized it afterward and put black plastic inside it.
When he was done, Terrence sat on the sofa chair. He took a deep sigh and closed his eyes for a couple of seconds before sighing one more time.
Even though he just woke up, he still felt sleepy.

It has been days since Terrence last saw his stats. He had lost track of it. When he saw that he was already ready to level up, he decided to go for it.
[Ding!]
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have successfully leveled up!]
[You have been rewarded $100 and 1 Lottery ticket.]
[Rewards will be sent to you shortly...]
Terrence sighed and checked his stats once again. He, who had nothing to do currently, decided to go for the Lottery Tickets.
Because of the kiss that he and Natalie shared yesterday, he was able to gain +4 luck attributes as a reward for the special mission.
’Lucky spin activated.’ Terrence looked at the screen in front of him.
He quickly spun the wheel and waited for what he got.
[Congratulations! You won $1000.]
Terrence spun the wheel again after getting the prize for the first one.
[Congratulations! You won $3000.]
Terrence grinned. It seems like, compared to the past, his luck has been getting better now.
[You got a Dud!]
’...’
Terrence was speaking too soon.
[Congratulations! You won 2 Lottery Tickets.]
[Congratulations! You won $500.]
[Congratulations! You won 100 EXP.]
[Congratulations! You won $20.]
Since Terrence got 2 more lottery tickets, he got 7 spins in total. Terrence was glad when he saw that he had won 100 EXP.
Terrence checked his stats for the last time to see the changes. Afterward, he will go do his own thing already.

After seeing his stats, looking at the money he has, and his mission, Terrence sighed.
It has been long since he made progress with the grocery store that he had been meaning to do. When he talked about it, he did not really know why the system gave him that mission.
It was the same with his last special mission.
What was the basis of those missions, and how did the system think of giving it to him? He tilted his head to the side.
’I know that if I asked the system, he wouldn’t answer me.’
[You’re right, Host!]
Terrence’s forehead creased. He scoffed.
Terrence opened up his phone and talked to a few suppliers. It was hard getting items at a low price, but Terrence was able to speak to some who were willing to give him a better deal as long as he bought in bulk.
That was beneficial to Terrence, too, since he was really willing to buy in bulk orders because it would be impossible to fill the grocery store with just one box of each item.
Since his grocery store was located in a town where middle- and high-class families resided, it would be expected that the prices would be high, too.
However, Terrence wants to break that stigma. He will price his items at the minimum he can. Still, he needed to consider his employees, rent, and promotional needs.
When Terrence thought of it, he realized that he needed to look for employees already. He had been thinking of hiring cashiers, employees who would oversee how the grocery store was doing, and people who would assist customers.
Since the location was far away from Terrence, he was still thinking about whether he would move out to have more freedom or stay in their house.
If he moves out, then he can watch and give his attention to the business while also doing what he wants. On the other hand, while he’s here in their house, he won’t be able to do the two of them freely.
’Should I talk to my mom and dad about it?’ he uncertainly asked.
He thought that it might be too much if he said his plans to move out just a day after Abigail’s departure.
However, he still doesn’t have enough time to spare.
Terrence did not know why, but he suddenly felt like doing a lot of things in the future.
Terrence breathed in and out. He was getting too excited for no reason. When he calmed down, Terrence looked at his phone.
"Okay, first, I will look for employees." Terrence made it clear to himself what he needed to do first.
It was to avoid the feeling of doing everything all at once.
"Then I will talk to Natalie if she has any updates about what happened yesterday...." Terrence slowly nodded as he mentally took note of it.
"Then, after that, I will talk to my mom and dad about my plans." Terrence nodded after mentally planning what he needed to do.
Terrence opened his phone quickly. He will do the first one immediately.
