Chapter 223: Chapter 143: Bloodbath_2
The wings of the Roc, nearly ten meters in length, carried a dark gleam like black flames burning through, mixing the Demon Energy, Evil Qi, and Heavenly Light together. Though only a meter away from detaching, they imparted a particularly horrifying effect.
Qin Ming used the Jade Iron Blade to strike, barely cutting in, still a foot away from its wings. It felt like sinking into a quagmire, as a terrifying wave of force nearly shook the blade out of his hand.
With a loud boom, he was sent flying by the flap of the Black Roc’s wings, the mixture of Heavenly Light and Evil Qi striking him, almost dispersing his own Heavenly Light Force.
Qin Ming flew backwards for over twenty meters, blood trailing from the corner of his mouth, crashing to the ground, his body staggering, nearly collapsing.
In mid-air, the Black Roc stood upright, its wings spread like two arms at its sides, its body steaming with a thick dark gleam and Evil Qi, like black flames raging against the sky.
Qin Ming’s crisis was just beginning. As soon as he landed, the Fire Qilin charged at him.
Its momentum was astounding, tearing the soil and rocks apart, shaking the earth. Its body, covered in crimson scale armor and flowing with firelight, was larger than an elephant and extremely fast.
Qin Ming kept dodging, but the Fire Qilin, despite its mountain-like size, was incredibly agile and quick, following his movements. When it opened its huge mouth, fire surged forth like waves of Heavenly Light.
Gritting his teeth, Qin Ming activated the Wind Power, quickly moving to its side, swinging the Mutton Fat Jade Iron Blade at it.
The Fire Qilin’s wide mouth showed fierce teeth, its mane quivering. Its entire body of crimson scale armor clanged loudly, bursting with Demon Energy and Heavenly Light, its Chixia radiating brilliantly.
It sneered coldly, taking the blade strike head-on.
Qin Ming’s expression hardened, his strike ineffective again. Even though he cut through the dense Chixia and firelight, when the blade neared its scale armor, the force dissipated without much impact.
Amidst the clanging, sparks flew, but he failed to penetrate the crimson scale armor.
With a loud boom, the Fire Qilin swung its claw, as large as a small winnowing basket, enveloped in crimson firelight, striking fiercely at Qin Ming.
Even an elephant, if placed here, would be smashed to pieces by its claw.
Qin Ming had nowhere to dodge, once again activating his Heavenly Light Force, swinging the long blade forward.
He blocked the claw, but was sent flying a dozen meters back.
Qin Ming knew well that this Fire Qilin was stronger than him. As he hit the ground, the Old Donkey rushed towards him, launching a series of punches.
Simultaneously, the Black Roc swooped down, carrying an endless dark gleam, Evil Qi, and Heavenly Light mixture touching the ground, shattering rocks, tearing the earth apart with ease.
The Old Donkey stepped back, giving way to the Black Roc.
Qin Ming faced a life-and-death crisis.
At this moment, his Three Great Strange Skills and eighteen perfected Heavenly Light Forces merged into Unity, his body resonating, bursting forth with dazzling and sacred light.
However, despite using the Silk Scripture to integrate his body’s Heavenly Light and deploy his strongest technique, he was still blasted away by the Black Roc, spewing a mouthful of blood.
Although his Mutton Fat Jade Iron Blade broke through the opponent’s dark gleam and slashed its wings, it only managed to cut a few black feathers, failing to wound the flesh.
The Heavenly Light and Evil Qi emitted from the Black Roc’s body, merely a meter apart, were terrifyingly potent, far exceeding those Outer Saints Qin Ming had encountered.
Roaring!
A lion’s roar shook the heavens, stones flying about; the Fire Qilin had arrived, its huge claws descending.
Despite Qin Ming fighting with all his might, he was overwhelmed, his nose and mouth bleeding, flung away.
His body’s combined Heavenly Light Forces dimmed, nearly dispersed.
The Fire Qilin glanced at the slightly bleeding, yet barely harmed crimson scale armor, sliced open by the Mutton Fat Jade Iron Blade.
As Qin Ming fell onto the ground ten meters away, not only did the Old Donkey charge at him, but the severely wounded Silver Wolf King also approached with the Wolf Fang Club. Swinging the heavy weapon, he aimed to smash it down.
Qin Ming, unable to rise, quickly rolled away, the Wolf Fang Club booming into the ground close to his ear, breaking open the soil, creating a deep pit.
The Old Donkey too leapt, deploying punches with all four hooves simultaneously, slamming downward.
Qin Ming rolled again, narrowly avoiding the heavy quadruple hoof punches, finally finding an opportunity to rise.
But the most powerful Black Roc reappeared, its wings still, as if able to stand quietly in the Void, thrusting out a claw, dark light bursting forth.
Qin Ming’s blade couldn’t slice through all of its dark beams, nor could his body’s Heavenly Light fully block them.
With a thud, his arm and chest were splashed with blood, each showing a blood hole, nearly injuring his organs.
The Fire Qilin followed up, its enormous claw strike coming down, carrying fierce flames and surging bright red light.
Qin Ming, unable to evade, once again held the blade with both hands, driving the Heavenly Light Force to meet it head-on.
With a boom, he was smashed down, the ground collapsing beneath him, then breaking apart.
At the same moment, the Silver Wolf King swung the Wolf Fang Club, and the Old Donkey kicked out with its hind hooves towards Qin Ming’s back.
The Black Roc, too large to join in with the Fire Qilin simultaneously, stood still in midair, its eyes shooting two cold bolts, overlooking the scene below.
Qin Ming, fiercely smashed by the giant lion paw into a large pit, was covered by fire and Heavenly Light.
With a thump, the Silver Wolf King’s Wolf Fang Club swept over, striking his chest. If not for the Fire Qilin’s large claw overhead, suppressing it, it would have smashed into Qin Ming’s heavenly cover.
Qin Ming spat out a mouthful of blood, his Heavenly Light nearly dispersed from the impact, managing to withstand because the Fire Qilin’s two massive claws descended, almost crushing him to burst.
