Chapter 62: Snow Bane Wolf II
Chapter 62: Snow Bane Wolf II
"Quickly take me to the next prey boy." Tim instructed, as the wolf started sprinting towards the next available prey.
Tim was slammed with immense cold air which made him regret making the wolf to be in a rush for the next prey, but he did not stop the wolf.
His resistance and endurance had increased by a considerable amount and because of that he had nore tolerance towards the chilling weather.
As they moved through the snowy forest, Tim witnessed a lot of mutilated corpses. They did not look fresh which made Tim realize that the corpse was old .
’I would have expected the corpse to disappear by now. In the novels that I read there are never corpse in the dungeon.
This is just an odd scene for me to witness. Does this mean that the dungeon is not like those in a game world? According to what I have heard, dungeons drop items.
If dungeons drop items and make corpse disappear. Then why does the corpse of outsiders not disappear?
This is really unusual.’ Tim thought, as it was really surprising why the dungeons had corpse laying around in them.
After moving at a high speed for about 15 minutes, Tim and his new summon stumbled on their first group prey.
It was a group of snow wolves, but unlike the snow wolf that Tim was on. The snow wolves were only about a meter tall and they were not solitary.
There were 6 wolves in number, and it seemed like they just finished a meal.
"What do we have here. A bunch of wolves without a leash.
Are you as strong as this boy here. Do you have what it takes to be mine" Tim taunted.
His intention was simple to get the wolf’s angry and make them lose their organization and attack aggressively.
If the wolves were as intelligent as his new summon, then he definitely did not want to risk things by making them organized in their attacks.
The wolves upon noticing Tim and his summon immediately attacked. They did not seem to be bothered about the fact that Tim’s summon was much larger than the rest of them.
The wolves attacked at the same time, with each of them aiming for a different part of Tim’s summon’s body.
The summon’s eyes glowed with the same light that it did previously in the last battle and immediately the wolf disappeared from its initial position.
It was not like it literally disappeared, but the wolf’s speed of evasion was on another level. Tim who was on the back of the wolf almost got displaced by the sudden shift in momentum of the wolf.
’This beast is freaking fast. How did I manage to take it down.’ Was the first line of thought that went on in Tim’s mind.
The wolves, not too surprised by the summon’s evasion. Regained their composure and lunged once more towards Tim and his summon.
Tim’s heart almost skipped a beat. The wolves were actually large and ferocious, even at a height of a meter.
What Tim wanted to see at the moment was action from his summon and that action was what he got to the letter.
The rare snow wolf still with its reflex and agility boosted. Skilfully evaded their lunge once more, but this time it followed up its evasion with a powerful strike of its paw towards the head of the closest wolf.
BAAM!
The strike of the summon remained powerful and deadly. The wolf on the receiving end was not so fortunate, as it flew and its body was slammed aggressively on a nearby tree.
The other wolves not wanting to give Tim’s summon breathing space to follow up on the previously attacked wolve. Lunged at Tim’s summon.
This time they attacked the summon from all the possible evasion angle, which made Tim’s summon unable to follow up with a finishing blow on the wolf that was attacked.
Tim seeing that his wolf was being attacked from all angle, he wanted to step in and assist his summon, but he dispelled the idea.
He wanted the summon to prove himself to him.
As the wolves neared his summon. His wolf summon immediately charged forward towards the 2 wolves that were attacking from its front.
As they were about to collide with each other. Tim’s summon immediately did a maneuverer that even Tim did expect.
Mid air the summon flipped to its left, evading the frontal lunge from the two wolves. As its body evaded their attack.
It grabbed onto the wolf to its right mid air with its massive paws and sunk its massive teeth’s onto the neck of the wolf.
Blood spilled aggressively for the neck of the wolf and just like that the number of the wolves reduced.
[Ding!]
[ Snow Wolf Killed]
[+500EXP to Snow Bane Wolf]
[ +500EXP]
[ Bonus for killing a Level 15 Snow Wolf -> 1100EXP]
[Dead Summon available -> Snow Wolf]
Tim confirmed for sure the kill when the wolf dissipated to smoke and was swallowed by his shadow.
That was more Exp for him. His summon also got additional exp, but he was not too surprised by that. He knew already that his undead get EXP if they make a kill.
The remaining wolves gathered together and stared at Tim and his summon. Their member was killed swiftly with a single attack, so the wolves were a bit caution, but that did not make them fear their target.
This time it was it was Tim’s summon that lunged forward to attack. The wolves not willing to back down also lunged towards Tim’s summon.
Their was no evasion this time, as Tim’s summon used its paws to press down the wolf that was directly in front if it. At the same time, it bite at the head of another charging wolf.
It was outnumbered, so it could not cover all its angles, and the remaining wolves were about to dig in into the flesh of Tim’s new summon, but what Tim’s summon did next changed the pace of the battle.
