Chapter 56: Red Zone Dungeon
"I don’t think that they are a going to a beginner rank dungeon. I am most definitely sure that they are not going to a beginner rank dungeon." Idah said, as he noted the route that they were passing through.
The thing about the dungeons were that they usually spawn in unusual places. They could spawn in a city, they could spawn in a home, they could spawn in the wild.
There was no restriction to the spawn locations of dungeons. That was another thing that was special about dungeons. But the most common thing about the dungeons was that a group of dungeons of around the same level could spawn close to one another.
It was a common thing to see a group of about 10 to 15 dungeons spawning in a single area and they were all of the same rank.
And the interesting thing about dungeons were that all dungeons of every rank had 3 levels of difficulty. It was green, red and black.
The green being the easiest difficulty of any ranked dungeon followed by the red, which was a very hard challenge no matter the rank of the dungeon. Then there was the black difficulty dungeon.
The black difficulty dungeon of any rank yielded the highest amount of loot and experience. It was also the most difficult type to enter unprepared.
"If, he is not going top a beginner rank dungeon then he wants to go into a 1 Star Dungeon. This is going to be a problem." Tim knew the difficulty of what they were about to go into.
He had just survived a beginner rank dungeon some days ago, now he was probably going to enter a started dungeon.
Honestly, he wanted to complain and rant, but things were different now. He no longer had his online fame and all the reviews or rants that were loved by people were now useless in this world that he was in.
"My king. I am certain now. We have just entered the common grounds for the 1 Star Dungeon." Idah informed Tim.
Tim nodded in acknowledgement. One of the things that he liked about his summons were that they retained their intelligence and knowledge.
He could just imagine the level of stress that he would have to go through if he was alone. It was a very good thing for Tim. He could always have a tour guide no matter where he was, as long that he had someone that was very familiar with the area.
Tim sighted the first dungeon portal since their journey from the city and he tensed up.’ Is this it? Is this the location for our battle.’ Tim thought.
Although Tim was angry at what Zou did to him and how he was humiliated by him publicly. His heart was still pumping with excitement.
It was like a sugar rush for Tim. He was going to fight yet another battle against a foe that just presented himself to him on a platter.
Tim always at all point know his capability. He always had a backup option.
This coming battle with Zou for instance. Tim had already planned his escape. If things were strongly not going in his favor, then Tim had planned before hand that he would escape or even fake his own death.
Aside from the thrill of battle that he was going to get from the coming clash, he also saw it as a method to level up quick. Thankfully he got EXP no matter the living thing that he got.
That was a unique advantage that was only available to Champions. Sadly, he was not the only Champion in the world of Fantasiaa which just meant that he had to work twice as hard to level up, unless he would not even be able to reach the level of power the other Champions had.
Tim followed in anticipation, waiting for Zou and his guild members to enter the green difficulty 1 Star Dungeon, but to Tim’s surprise. Zou skipped the dungeon.
Tom was really shocked. What was Zou up to? He did not know what was on Zou’s mind but he just knew that Zou was up to no good.
"he cant take us to a 2 Star Dungeon, right?" Tim asked, with beads of sweat starting to form on his face.
He was truly worried this time. They had at this point passed by 5 dungeons. Tim did not know what Zou had in store for him but he was increasingly getting worried.
"Are you sure that he is a 1 Star Magic Sage?" Tim asked Idah once more/
"Yes, my king. I have observed the aura that he is emitting and I am sure that he is still at the 1st star." Idah responded immediately.
Although Idah did not have a system to rely on to tell the level of people, he could do that by just estimating the power of the individual by gauging the level of their Aura.
’If is still in the 1st star then he can’t be sane and say he wants to go to a 2 Star Dungeon. That is just suicide for him. what is he up to.
I can’t seem to read through him.’ Tim thought as they continued to follow Zou from a distance.
Zou suddenly stopped in front of a portal. It was a red portal. A red difficulty portal.
Tim at this point did not know about the difficulty of portals, but one thing that he knew of was the fact that all the portals that he had been witnessing were green in color.
The portal that Zou was standing in front of was red, and he knew instinctively that anything red was up to know good, but he was prepared.
If this was the portal that Zou wanted to enter then he was ready. He was hell bent on making Zou to be his undead. That was a befitting punishment for someone that humiliated and threatened his life.
So, instead of threatening Tim’s life, he would be protecting Tim’s life with his all as an undead.
Zou looked back at Tim who was quite a distance from him and dragged his thumb across his neck indicating that he would slaughter Tim.
