Death Knight Wayne’s abilities were not much different from Austin’s, perhaps even slightly weaker, and facing off against three God’s Chosen Knights was indeed a bit too much for him.

At the very moment when the golden light exploded, Austin broke his limits once more to personally slay the Death Knight. Lifting Twilight Deadlock, he cleaved the Death Knight’s head in two.

Austin: A blow to the chest isn’t fatal, the head is!

Death Knight, already on his last legs, took two fatal blows. The red glow pulsating on his skull slowly dimmed, and he laughed wildly, "Wayne, this is the fate of a traitor. You have blasphemed the Goddess, and the Goddess gifts you with Death!"

As he spoke, Wayne, with a sword planted in his forehead, suddenly moved.

Under William’s astonished gaze, he shed his Moonlight Armor and White Night Purity Words, reaching up to pull out the Shadowmare from his forehead, instantly healing the frightful wound on his face.

Death Knight Wayne stared in shock.

"Is it so incredible to you, that I released the hold on Shadowmare and wasn’t devoured by the Death Power in one breath as this Moonlight Knight?"

By Wayne’s ears echoed a familiar howl, as he held Shadowmare straight up in front of him: "I’ve said it before, talented individuals will be valued no matter where they are..."

As he spoke, he held Shadowmare aloft, Death Aura swirling around him, leaving him unscathed.

Death Knight Wayne watched this scene in horror, as if realizing something, his heart sinking with intense resentment and anger, "Impossible, you Blasphemer, how could the Goddess forgive you, I am the only Death Knight."

"Laughable, if not for me, what makes you think you had the right to become a Death Knight? Talking loyalty in front of me, how could you have the gall to say that?" Wayne, knowing the truth but choosing not to reveal it, ruthlessly trampled the self-esteem of his Inverted World ’self’.
