Chapter 983: Chapter 357: Three People Standing Together Can Make Up 600 Scheming Minds_2
The Inverted World lacks not for death, with Lundan alone claiming millions of lost lives. This place is a breeding ground for the Death Knight, and even if he does nothing, the energy he can summon is inexhaustible.
Looking down from above, one can witness a majestic spectacle.
Countless gray streams rise in every district of Lundan, converging together as if roaring death aura rivers rush forward, their terrifying momentum reaching an extreme.
As the rivers twist and turn, they morph into giant gray pythons, eradicating life, reassembling matter, leaving behind ash-like trails, all reaching the West District Grand Cemetery.
The Death Knight Wayne raised Shadowmare, a Cloak of Death Energy touching heaven and earth, infusing limitless energy into his body, and Shadowmare sliced through brilliant white light, touching dark sword force, instantly splitting it in two.
The shattered dark light spread out, and a tidal wave of darkness surged from near to far, causing a continuous shock, severing a gray python and devouring it.
Death has its advantages, as darkness has its strengths. Whether death corrodes darkness or darkness devours death depends on which knight has the deeper foundation.
A touch of apprehension flashed in the Death Knight Wayne’s eyes, not understanding why Austin could keep getting stronger. Cutting down a beloved, he had done that too, but his progress was nowhere near as swift.
Fortunately, the problem was not significant. The Inverted World, lacking in nothing, did not lack for death. With the West District Grand Cemetery serving as his stronghold, he had an endless supply of undead skeletons and could force back both darkness and the Sun Knight even when outnumbered.
A gray wave soared to the sky, casting a vast, ghastly white image above the connecting Cloak of Death Energy.
The mountain-sized White Bone Skull had vacant sockets for eyes, with a striking sword mark on the left cheekbone.
The White Bone Skull loomed high in the sky, stirring the chilling air into a boil, emitting a shrill, piercing screech that sent shivers up one’s spine, evoking fear from deep within.
Death energy soared to the sky, the white skull rolling in gray fog, causing the entire Grand Cemetery to shake.
Countless corpses emerged from the ground, their pale green phosphorescent light surging, dotting Lundan with responses to the call of death.
This momentum, extending further outward, also caused the fallen skeletons in the fields outside Lundan to rise.
In a blink, death was everywhere.
Lundan’s eight million Yin Soldier Instructor—Death Knight Wayne!
Austin’s eyes were blood-red, not considering these trifles worth noticing. With a sword in hand, he dispelled vast amounts of dark energy, instantly pulverizing countless corpses.
Rows of bodies fell like wheat before the scythe, with white skulls swirling in the air.
These skulls, not directly crushed by darkness, were attracted by the gravity from above, all surging upward into the vast Skull Shadow, accumulating like grains of sand to eventually make the shadow solidify.
Clearly, the Death Knight was preparing his ultimate move!
William, clutching the Dawn Admonition, with the path of light radiating from him, teleported before the colossal skull mountain. Surrounded by surging waves of light aura, a blinding orb exploded around him with a thunderous blast.
Boom!!!
The earth shook as a gold and red mushroom cloud rose from the ground.
Teaming up with the Sun Knight was undoubtedly a poor choice; no matter the generation, every Sun Knight had a knack for sowing destruction wherever they went.
Hurting the enemy for a thousand, but also inflicting the same damage on allies.
Austin stepped into the darkness and left, while at the last moment, the Death Knight Wayne rode his Undead Warhorse through a portal to escape.
The relentless sphere of light, like a merciless sun, arrogantly discharged its power, vaporizing the skeletons of the entire West District Grand Cemetery into ash and leaving behind a depression several kilometers in diameter.
Streams of red flowed into the pit, the air filled with heat-distorted waves, and the darkened sky turned crimson as if the whole world was engulfed in raging fire.

Wayne moved through the air, heading straight for the position of the Bone Dragon.
His target was not the Death Knight Wayne, but rather Slyphy’s remains, to retrieve the mentor’s bones so they could be properly laid to rest. Only then would he deal with the Death Knight, prioritizing the order of events.
In midair, the Black Dragon lunged at the Bone Dragon, only to be flicked away by a bone-connected tail, kicking up a large cloud of dust upon landing.
Wayne watched, feeling his anger rage; this creature was raised by his own mother, whom not even she would dare to strike.
Although something felt off, in the Lando Family, regardless of how bizarre the relational ties, everything seemed reasonable.
Dragging a shadow, Wayne stepped and landed behind the Bone Dragon, putting away the Black Greatsword in his hand and taking a deep breath, silently calling out to his teacher.
Wayne’s Black Robe hood fell back, revealing his true face. The Bone Knight raised its lance, possibly triggering an enemy recognition system set by the Death Knight. Upon seeing the face, it paused, unsure.
Wayne’s eyes gleamed red, his fiery gaze knocking the lance aside.
He raised his five fingers, and green vines sprouted from his fingertips, growing immensely against the wind, transforming into a sky-covering hand of vines, seizing the Bone Dragon and restraining its wings and limbs before forcing it down from the sky.
With a roaring crash as it hit the ground, Wayne approached the Bone Knight who, caught between attacking and not being able to attack, clenched its fist, raising it then letting it fall.
Wayne looked on expressionlessly. Spreading his fingers, he touched the Bone Knight’s sternum, drawing out the surging life force from its Magic Stone heart, countering death with nature’s vitality, erasing the gray while ensuring not to damage the skeleton’s body.
If he put himself in the shoes of the Death Knight, and wanted to torment someone, like Austin, he’d surely tamper with Slyphy’s remains.
