Chapter 982: Chapter 357: Three People Standing Together Can Make Up 600 Minds

In the center of the Grand Cemetery, two figures clashed fiercely, swords gleaming and energy erupting unrestrainedly.

Occasionally, the ghastly, crazed laughter of the Death Knight echoed.

In the dark world of the Inverted World, the Death Knight fought without any of the joy and laughter of the Outer World. The fire of revenge devoured Austin’s thoughts. Seeing "Wayne’s" face threw him into a frenzy.

The forceful brick-throwing segment began.

In this state, Death Knight Wayne, frustratingly, possessed a higher IQ than Austin, whose frequent snide remarks provoked Austin into continuous roars.

The two were old adversaries, battling without rest throughout the year, with each encounter resulting in a bloody fight and victories evenly split between them.

Death Knight Wayne knew Austin well, an adversary he couldn’t defeat with all his strength, so he had to resort to unconventional tactics.

Fortunately, he possessed his proudest collection item.

As the black and white swords clashed, Austin’s crimson eyes met the red light flickering in the eye sockets of the skeleton head, and a creepy, gurgling laughter emerged as the red gemstone at the end of the Shadow Nightmare Pancake radiated light.

Thunderous booms—

Suddenly, the ground began to shake violently as if a monstrous beast had been awakened, enraged and ripping through the smooth earth.

The roaring sound was as shocking as thunder, blurring the surroundings amidst their tremors.

Soon, a deep crevice slowly tore open on the left side of the Grand Cemetery with a deafening dragon’s howl that unleashed the chilling cold of death.

A huge Bone Dragon emerged from the Abyss, its skull ferocious and its eye sockets glowing with a cold, bloodthirsty red light. Grey death aura linked all the bones in the Bone Dragon’s body, covering the broken wing bones with a membrane-like mist, allowing the Bone Dragon to spread its wings and conceal the sky and land under its gigantic body.

The chilling death aura and the terrifying dragon’s might dispersed outward, a loud dragon’s roar piercing the night sky, heralding its arrival.

The Bone Dragon wasn’t the key; the key was the accompanying Dragon Knight. A slender Bone Knight held a lance, considerably disproportionate to its size, with glowing eyes as it rode the Bone Dragon charging toward Austin.

"Austin, High Priest Slyphy has come to challenge you, what are you waiting for?"

Death Knight Wayne laughed heartily, in stark contrast to Austin, who was trapped in pain and despair, his eyes blood-red, becoming a puppet of vengeance, completely losing his rationality.

Usually, at this time, it was Megan in her transformed Black Dragon form fighting the Bone Dragon, luring Slyphy away.

Today was no exception. The comparatively smaller and underage sixteen-year-old black dragon exhaled black flames, exuding dragon’s might and provocation, leading both the Bone Dragon and Slyphy away.

Death Knight Wayne was not irritated; this was a routine act, performed each time against Austin, providing one of his few pleasures.

To feast until satiation every time, he still could make a clear choice.

Boom!

While the two knights were fiercely fighting, a strong light descended from the sky, a blazing small sun plummeting from the high sky with the momentum of the aurora, crashing into the center of the battlefield.

Death Knight Wayne retreated with his sword, summoning an Undead Warhorse midway and dodging further attacks through a teleportation gate.

The golden fireball expanded, the golden light turning into shockwaves that spread in all directions, flattening the entire Grand Cemetery, evaporating the mist, pushing away the death aura, leaving only the red-hot scorched earth.

From the ten-meter-wide crater, the robust William emerged clad in Sun Battle Armor, radiant golden light converging upon him, his firm features as if chiseled by knife and axe, perfectly fitting the stereotypical image of a War God.

Austin, having been hit by a slightly less powerful Tactical Mushroom, shook his head slightly and cleared his mind considerably, nodding to William before coldly turning to face the Death Knight.

"Sun Knight?!"

Death Knight Wayne’s heart skipped a beat, surprised that the knights of darkness and sun were joining forces, an improbable scenario since light and darkness supposedly had no reason to ally.

In the Inverted World, there was no need to think too much; anything bizarre could happen. However, surrounded by formidable enemies, the Death Knight still asked, "Sun Knight, this is my fight with the Dark Knight; you shouldn’t interfere."

"My boyfriend is the Dark Knight’s son, my dear friend is the Dark Knight’s daughter; I must come!" William declared.

You have a boyfriend?

Death Knight Wayne was momentarily stunned, but being from Lundan, he soon recovered, sneering, "I’m hearing about Austin’s son for the first time; where is he, I’ve collected his bones."

You are really not Wayne!

William narrowed his eyes; he had seen Wayne’s face in both worlds, the same face giving him two distinctly different feelings.

One at first sight, another...

Completely devoid of feeling.

William understood that his love was about sincerity, about the interior rather than appearances.

Thus, this face was nothing to be nostalgic about; this Wayne was not that Wayne. The Death Knight who had killed Veronica’s mother was his mortal enemy.

Austin, pushed to his limits, moved his hand, and dark light spread out, the dark sword blade flashing with its unique metallic luster, unleashing a tremendously powerful energy fluctuation.

In an instant, where the black light extended, the Twilight Deadlock seemed to magnify a thousandfold, sweeping down like a mountain range.

The cold, sinister blade became an unparalleled deadly weapon, instantly devouring the death aura along its path, leaving behind a chaotic, tumbling black mist reaching Death Knight Wayne.

Realizing the increase in Austin’s power, the Death Knight held his sword in both hands, his grey death aura cloak rising behind him, forming an immense black hole at his center, drawing countless streams of death aura from all around.
