Chapter 850: Chapter 323: Little Devil, Where Are You From?
Windsor Castle, St. George’s Church.
Herman stood guard with an expressionless face, fifteen minutes had passed since he last contacted the Magical Department Headquarters, each second felt like an eternity as anxiety gripped his heart.
Why hadn’t the reinforcements arrived yet? Where were the Darkness and the Death Knight? They ran away faster than anyone when the rebellion happened, but now that the Devil had come, they were nowhere to be seen. Could they have already left Lundan?
No sooner had he thought of the reinforcements than they arrived.
A woman in a white suit appeared before Herman’s eyes, her silver hair and eyes glimmering, her lips a delicate shade, cold as ice, repelling anyone from coming too close.
Herman immediately held his breath and focused, feeling immense pressure from the newcomer. Although she didn’t show a hint of aura and looked like a regular person at first glance, but...
Effortlessly passing through the magic Prohibition without setting off any alarms, and entering the heavily guarded Windsor Castle as though she was merely shopping, she couldn’t possibly be an ordinary person.
"Windsor Magic Department’s Legendary Mage, Commander of the Holy Light Knights, Herman Mueller, have you been sent by the Deputy Minister of Austin as reinforcements?" Herman respectfully performed a Knight’s salute.
Four members of the Knight Order at the Gold Mage Level were still clueless about what had happened, staring blankly at each other, not understanding why there was a calm before they requested reinforcements from Headquarters.
Was the commander so stressed that he was hallucinating?
Dreyne returned the Knight’s salute, her voice cold as frost, "I received a call from the Prince. There’s a Devil inside St. George’s Church. Just to confirm, is this the place?"
"Yes."
Herman straightened his back, curious, "The Prince you mentioned, is it Prince Edward?"
"Who’s that?"
"..."
Oh, it was Prince Wayne.
"The Devil inside is my responsibility. Just make sure to guard the entrance and don’t let the Devil escape from any other place," Dreyne walked past Herman, heading towards the sanctuary of the church.
"Your Grace, are you sure you don’t need any help?"
"If you help the Devil, my chances of winning increase even more."
Dreyne didn’t look back, disappearing from Herman’s sight before he could ask her identity.
Two minutes later, the casually late Wayne arrived without changing into his Death Knight attire—a black suit, understated yet luxurious with its depth, dressed like a member of the Royal Family on a covert visit.
"Mister Wayne, what brings you here?" Herman exclaimed in surprise.
"I’m here to collect the Devil’s corpse and to check what exactly inside St. George’s Church is attracting the Devil."
Wayne smiled slightly, his unspoken words significantly increasing the pressure on Herman, who quickly explained, "St. George’s Church has no secrets. The Minister and Deputy Minister have us stationed here because of the special nature of the royal tomb and also because it’s a tradition. St. George’s Church is an honorable place for the Royal Family, and it must be guarded by a Legendary Mage."
"You see, I haven’t even said anything yet and you’re already anxious."
Wayne continued smiling, asking, "I have already notified the reinforcements, has the Moonlight Knight gone inside yet?"
"What, she is the Moonlight Knight?!"
Herman was shocked, no wonder he felt immense pressure from her, as it made sense if she was one of God’s Chosen Knights.
"Oh, you let someone in without knowing anything?" Wayne raised an eyebrow, positioning himself with an air of authority.
Herman sheepishly bowed his head, blaming himself for starting his day by stepping out with the right foot first, admitting his fault and willing to accept any punishment.
"Commander Herman, you’ve worked hard guarding your post, and so have the elite members of the Holy Light Knights. Keep up the good work. Our Randao Family will not let you down," Wayne did not pursue the matter further, making a point while generously making promises.
Herman gave a wry smile as he watched Wayne enter the core area of the church. With the Moonlight Knight present, the insignificant Devil couldn’t cause much upheaval. There was no need to worry about the Prince’s safety.
At that moment, Herman felt like Queen Sophia and Ivette after discovering Dreyne’s identity; distressed, disheartened, and helpless.
With the Randao Family casually raising three God’s Chosen Knights, and the Nature and Sun Knights still en route on horseback, the shifting of eras in Windsor had already been set in stone.
There was no use struggling; just work well under Prince’s sound leadership!

West District, Theater.
A blond, blue-eyed man with long hair stood at the theater entrance holding a rose, his warm smile inviting, his handsome face alone causing the women nearby to halt in their tracks.
Sister Titus, on the command of her master Archibald, the Reincarnated Angel, came to the theater entrance to hit on women as a way to create an alibi to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings.
This overly cautious yet incredibly powerful reincarnated Angel.
Being a pure-hearted Nun, Titus wasn’t one to hit on women, a technique taught to her by Archibald.
Archibald: Hitting on girls is easy, you just need to go up to the girl and say, ’Can I date you?’ and then it’s settled.
Titus gave it a try using Archibald’s advice, coupled with a romantic rose, and quickly broke up three couples, successfully obtaining three girlfriends.
Like master, like servant. No problem there.
At that moment, Titus was surrounded by three recently single young women, all wondering whether to bring all three into the theater, or like Archibald, give the ladies a fair chance to compete for her affection, with a time limit of five minutes and the one with the most effective strikes winning.
While she hesitated, a man in a neat suit got out of a high-end black car, embracing two secretaries, one arm around each, their slim waists in his grasp, beaming like a man who has won at life.
Felster Julian.
Head of the Julian Family within the Tulip Family, like Austin, in his thirties, having effortlessly inherited his family’s fortune at a young age.
