Chapter 815: Chapter 314 You’ve Made Me Suffer! _2
"Am I overthinking it?"
Not far away, the Evil Spirit Dog, Undead Warhorse, and Skull Owl were gathered together chatting.
"Woof!"
"Woof woof!"
"Ow?!"
The scene was quite silly, as both horse and owl were apparently speaking dog. Philomena stopped in her tracks to see as Death Knight’s beloved pets treated her like she was invisible, unconcerned she might start shoveling to dig up graves, and she felt uncertain again.
She had no relation to the Death Knight, not even allies, so there had to be another reason for such niceties.
So, the dead guy must be buried down there!
Philomena coldly eyed the Unnamed Tombstone, struggling with whether to dig up the body for a confrontation. She gathered courage to reach out several times, but ultimately gave up.
In case she was overthinking and actually dug up the Death Knight, that would really turn into a spectacle.
The figure in white moved away, stopping at the edge of the Grand Cemetery, watching Wayne taking a walk on the highway and chased after him with a scoff.
"Hey, Mina, what a coincidence, you’re here for a walk too?" Wayne said, surprised, calling it fate’s arrangement.
Philomena rolled her eyes beautifully, coldly saying, "Stop pretending, you’re the Death Knight, aren’t you?"
At the banquet hall, Hefei mentioned Wayne had arrived, but she couldn’t find him in the crowd. With Dark Knight Austin’s attitude towards the Death Knight and Wayne appearing at the Grand Cemetery, the evidence was conclusive enough to solve the case.
"Don’t talk nonsense, I’m the heir to the Naturalist Knight, how could I possibly be the Death Knight? Think about it, you’d know it’s not possible." Wayne sighed, "I know you’re busty, but I didn’t think you’d be so brainless."
"Being busty doesn’t mean being brainless, I just can’t be bothered."
Philomena retorted on the spot, glancing sidelong at Wayne, "You say you’re not the Death Knight, then why are you here?"
"I came to chase after you!"
Wayne said matter-of-factly, "It’s dangerous for you to be chasing the Death Knight alone late at night, so I came to find you."
"Hmm, you’re really nice."
"Hehe, right!"
You even got all out of breath!
Philomena coldly sneered, grabbing Wayne’s collar, "Your mother already told me, saying you are the Death Knight!"
"You are the Death Knight."
"..."
Seeing that Wayne stubbornly denied it, Philomena turned away and walked off. After two steps, realizing Wayne hadn’t followed, she stopped in frustration.
Wayne scratched his head and approached Philomena. Seeing her frowning and not planning to budge, he reached out, hooked her slender waist, and pulled her into his arms, nibbling her red lips through the white veil.
Philomena struggled a few times, unable to pull herself away from his kissing skills, and soon melted in Wayne’s arms.
Her gaze was dazed, somewhat lost in her own world.
Wayne patted her bottom, and Philomena instinctively reached out to hold on to a nearby tree, bending over, raising her hips, and spreading her legs in a fluid, silky motion.
Wayne: (⊙_⊙;)
Although, but, after a big fight comes another big fight, so he won’t reveal this misunderstanding.
Philomena finished posing before realizing something was off, her ears flushing as she muttered "pervert," quickly standing up straight.
Seeing Wayne approaching with serious intentions, she quickly pushed him away, "Stop messing around, this is the West District Grand Cemetery, the Death Knight’s turf."
"Sleeping."
"There are horses, and dogs."
"They’re all females."
"Why do you know so much?"
"Because I am the Death Knight!"
"..."
Philomena rolled her eyes, heavily slapping the wandering hand on her chest, annoyed, "Why stop acting? Turns out even the Death Knight is a pervert. I thought skeletons didn’t have human desires."
"Generally, they don’t, but it depends on the person. If it’s a beauty like Mina, not just the Death Knight, the Goddess of Death herself would rise from the coffin." Wayne smiled, kissing the back of Philomena’s hand.
"How can you be the Death Knight?"
Philomena expressed her greatest doubt, "You are the heir to the Naturalist Knight, I saw you demonstrating the Elemental Mantra. Death and Nature are opposites, the Goddess of Death wouldn’t choose you. Even if Death and Nature are part of the same cycle, someone like you..."
"You have no respect for the deities, the Goddess of Death is crazy... in short, it can’t be you."
"Gods don’t care!"
Wayne shrugged, holding Philomena in his arms and smelling the scent of her hair, raising his eyebrows, "Not to hide it from you, but I’m also the heir to the Moonlight Knight."
"Haha."
Philomena’s smile was unamused. Nature and Death could go crazy, but her revered Moonlight Goddess wouldn’t. She advised Wayne not to keep running his mouth, as being busty and lazy didn’t mean she wouldn’t bother at all.
"Mina, I really am the Moonlight Knight. I swear to the Goddess."
"Give it up. What if the Goddess takes it seriously, and I have to find another boyfriend."
"You see, if I keep it from you, you’re upset, and if I tell the truth, you don’t believe me, I’m really having a hard time."
"Then transform, like the last time as the Naturalist Knight. After you transform, I’ll believe you." Philomena pushed Wayne away, arms akimbo, giving him a chance to prove himself.
"Fine, I’ll transform."
Wayne inserted one hand into the Void, picking choices, "This is wrong, it’s the Elemental Mantra, this too is wrong, Twilight Deadlock, this... and here’s Shadowmare... hey, where did White Night Purity Words end up?"
Wayne muttered under his breath, never finding White Night Purity Words, causing Philomena to chuckle, "How about it, need a few more minutes to think about how to round out this lie?"
"Mina, I’m not lying, I’m the genuine heir to the Moonlight Knight."
Wayne retracted his hand with a serious face, explaining, "I know now, it must have been Dreyne who lost White Night Purity Words while playing cards. Once she flips the table in anger and snatches back White Night Purity Words, I’ll be able to transform."
