Chapter 812: Chapter 313 This is Much More Useful Than Magic_3

Wayne waved his hand to close his Personal Space, sealing The Book of Hell inside; he let The Book of Greed consume it as fast as it wished, conspiracy or not, for knowledge was innocent.

The Book of Greed gulped down its meal in one go, producing a gurgling sound, and The Book of Hell transformed from epic-level equipment to a blank slate, all of its inscribed information plundered by The Book of Greed, which then sorted and distributed the spoils to various little eyeballs.

The eyeball representing Hell triumphed over Heaven’s in one fell swoop.

Setting aside the Seven Deadly Sins Melody and the limited Golden Rule Holy Words, Wayne tasted some strange information. His skeletal head tilted incredulously as he eyed the Royal Family.

The scent of angels!

Not Reincarnated Angels, but oddly authentic angelic beings.

Within the Windsor Royal Family flowed the blood of Heaven.

You are born of Heaven yourselves; why must you be hell-bent on clashing with Heavenly Father’s Court? So it’s truly a case of infighting experts!

More baffling to Wayne than the presence of Heavenly Blood in the Queen’s family was the fact that angels could actually mate, and leave behind descendants in the Mortal World?

Did those eccentrics even possess the necessary tools for the job?

It seemed as though they lacked even the most basic of genders.

Whose children would they be, exactly, and what of the specific process? Why is that part not elaborated?

Wayne was utterly confounded inside, and in his bewildered state, he chose to look on the bright side; later on, when playing the part of a Reincarnated Angel, he could add a few more special effects to his portrayal.

Someday, this false angel of his might very well step through the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven with his head held high.

Austin approached Wayne irritably and said, "Why did you put that book away? It looked ominous, don’t let it be used against you."

It won’t be, that book is now just an empty diary.

Sensing Austin’s concern, Wayne replied, "You know me; I’m more ominous than that book, and it can’t do anything to me."

Austin shook his head slightly, "It’s not you I’m worried about, it’s the safety of those around you, several of whom are very important to me. Don’t drag them into trouble because of your pride."

"Don’t worry, I can handle this book."

"What about the book’s owner?"

"Should I throw it away now?"

"What’s the point of throwing it away now..."

Austin glared at Wayne and opened the team voice chat, "I don’t want to expose my identity in front of the Royal Family, so I’ll wait for you outside. Take the Queen out; consider it a request from me, and stop causing trouble."

Wayne nodded, his original plan was to have Austin don the golden robes and take the brunt of the suffering while he, as the prince, lived comfortably outside the lines.

Yet with the plan only halfway executed and Lundan having strong players in the game, having Austin in front wasn’t going to be so simple anymore.

To prevent himself from being the last male of the Lando Family, Wayne decisively amended the plan—the title of Regent King was settled on Austin.

The Dark Knight strode away, and the Death Knight surveyed the Grey Space, attempting to summon Yuliya.

The try turned out to be a success.

The Grey Space was a fallen Divine Nation, Yuliya’s ability to open teleportation gates was not confined to the God-chosen Continent. With a bit more audacity, an intact Divine Nation was also within reach.

It was no wonder that a Magical Being hand-forged by the Goddess of Death shone brightly as an ultra-rare SSR card.

With the teleportation gate at hand, Wayne’s task of taking people out became much easier. Seizing the opportunity as Yuliya whisked away the Prince and Princess, he strode up to the Queen and bent down with a hearty smile.

"Kekekekeke———"

"Your Majesty, did the Dark Knight just say something to you? Something like the loyalty of the Lando Family, and that they would support you as King?"

"I can tell you very responsibly, what he said is true. The Lando Family is indeed loyal, whether it’s Austin or the next patriarch Wayne, they are devoted to the Queen."

"The words I spoke in the hall were meant to deceive Prince Douglas. You know I’ve had an unpleasant run-in with the devils of Hell, so I’ve been targeting him everywhere."

...

Sophia remained silent, her husband was dead, but she wasn’t the least bit saddened.

Perhaps she grew accustomed to Douglas’s ’deaths’, or felt it not worth mourning; his demise scarcely ruffled her emotions.

On the contrary, having narrowly survived, she began to muster strength from her seat, and her brain, heeding the demands of ambition, pondered the future of the Royal Family and the Windsors.

"Death Knight, what exactly are you trying to say?"

"Loyalty!"

"Death Knight, your loyalty is only to the Goddess of Death, it has nothing to do with me, and I never expected it from you."

Sophia, lacking any bargaining chips, spoke bluntly as a potato on the chopping board: "You don’t need to try sowing discord. The four Churches all support the Lando Family, and even dispatched two God-chosen Knights. Austin cannot decide the future, I understand he is not in control of his own fate; so, tell me, what are your plans?"

Sister, the more you misunderstand, the better.

"Since the Queen wants me to be frank, I’ll speak openly. War is about to break out, and I, along with the Dark Knight, have chosen the Lando Family. The Church will not interfere in Windsor politics, and Austin will serve as your advisor, assisting in the governance of this country."

"Is that all?"

Sophia smiled bitterly, such gracious terms, she might as well thank the Church.

"Of course, there’s more, but these are unrelated to the Church, they’re just my personal biases."

A gleam of white light flickered in Wayne’s eyes, and seeing that Yuliya had moved everyone away, leaving just him and the Queen, he unconsciously rubbed his hands: "When I was in the Grand Cemetery, I heard quite a few rumors about you and Austin. I want to know, which parts of those are true?"
