Chapter 737: Chapter 293 Dark Goddess: Giving You a Task_2

Leo had completed his task, and it was now Mula’s turn, who, with the Elemental Mantra in hand, unleashed the terrifying energy within him.

The Four Elements of earth, fire, water, and wind spread out with boundless momentum, forging mountains, rivers, and forests, propping up the continuous range of hills, cutting across the edge of the Projection Space, and injecting a realm full of burgeoning life into this previously lifeless, chaotic space.

As this world underwent revolutionary changes, the original chaos and darkness were completely dispersed, replaced by a newly born and unfamiliar world.

The speed at which the black fissure was dragging the Projection Space came to an abrupt halt, because it was unfamiliar and couldn’t continue to lead it toward the Ancient God’s followers’ land.

"Roar, roar, roar————"

Torgoguryr roared deeply, it might not care, but it couldn’t be taken away.

Along with this roar, the monsters went completely mad, rushing into the striking range covered by Dreyne, using their bodies as shields to pave the way for those behind them.

Dreyne’s pressure surged, her eyes bursting with the cold light of the moon, and behind her manifested twelve arms of silver light, countless arrows poured down, pushing the approaching frontline back once again.

With the Elemental Mantra in hand, Mula completed the shaping of the Projection Space, exhausted a great deal of his mind, and stood side by side with Leo, panting heavily.

With their tasks finished, the rest was up to Dreyne.

Crack!

A crisp sound, and the Projection Space officially separated from the Ancient God’s followers’ land, moving away from the black fissure, getting further and further apart.

We made it!x3

Just as the trio rejoiced, Torgoguryr made its move, four massive tentacles extended from the followers’ land, braving the overwhelming barrage of the White Night Purity Words and coiling toward the fleeing Projection Space.

Three of the tentacles were blasted apart, yet one touched the Projection Space just as it was about to break.

Once contact was made, the information was transferred.

Seeing mountains and forests withering, returning to the initial chaos and darkness, Mula had no choice but to erect the Elemental Mantra.

The three realized that, with Torgoguryr in the followers’ land and now fully awakened, its power further strengthened; relying solely on themselves, they likely couldn’t sever the Projection Space.

"We were so close!"

Dreyne was inwardly annoyed, as her failure led to all their efforts being in vain.

Just great, now there’s no card left to play.

Suddenly, the trio shuddered and turned to look behind them at the same time.

There, a faint knightly force was calling to them, and guided by this force, they found a way out of the Projection Space.

"It’s Anastasia, she found her way here."

"Anastasia can’t use our power, so it must be Wayne..."

"We can’t hold the Projection Space anymore, should we retreat?"

"You go first, I’ll hold off Torgoguryr, we can’t let it launch a counter-attack!"

Dreyne insisted on staying behind to cover them, Mula and Leo didn’t argue and retreated toward the exit at top speed, knowing that once they returned to the Icebound Continent and made contact with the outside world, they would find a way to rescue Dreyne.

In the direction of the exit, Wayne had removed the form of the Pale Knight, too sinister it was, hard to explain, he could be mistaken for an Ancient God’s spy.

He held three gems in his hand, activating their inner power, standing at the edge of the closing fissure, and from afar, he could see two lights speedily approaching.

Quickly, in almost the blink of an eye, Mula and Leo arrived at Wayne’s side.

Without wasting words, they began to seal the Spatial Fissure, attempting to delay Torgoguryr’s return and minimize the threat to the God-chosen Continent.

Every second was critical now; with each step completed, Torgoguryr’s return became that much harder.

Wayne weakly said, "Guys, what about Dreyne? She’s not out yet."

"She’ll be here any second."

As the words fell, the fissure had shrunk to the size of a grain of rice, a stream of arrow light shot out, hitting a peering Wayne.

The arrow light pierced through Wayne’s chest, causing no injury, dispelling negativity, healing wounds, releasing purification, infusing energy, driving away fear...

A series of buffs hit him, and Wayne felt so strong he believed he could kill a dragon.

Impressive stuff!

Upon reflection, it seemed not so extraordinary, after all, it was just a dragon, and he had already tamed two.

Boom!!

The moment the arrow light vanished from Wayne’s chest, Dreyne sprang out and collided with his chest.

She stopped in place, unscathed, while Wayne, baffled, was sent flying a long distance away.

The Void Worm weighed its options and vanished into the interior of the spatial tunnel.

"What’s going on; why is there a Void Worm here?" Leo wondered.

"I’ve heard that Void Worms have many uses; I’m seeing this kind of Star Beast for the first time—such a flaccid and firm meat worm, it’s really ugly." Dreyne shook her head repeatedly.

It was astonishing; supposedly, Void Worms have high medicinal value and are highly sought after in the Divine Nation; many would kneel for a taste. Anyway, she couldn’t open her mouth wide enough, just looking at it was disgusting.

Wayne came over wordlessly, rubbing his chest, thinking to himself about the hardness of her head.

"Hey, Wayne, what a coincidence that you are here too." Dreyne greeted with a wave of her hand.

"Yeah, such a coincidence..."

Wayne pursed his lips and then said, "You three, this is the void, filled with chaotic knowledge, I can’t stay here long, let’s talk back at home."

The Sealed Land.

Or rather, what used to be The Sealed Land.

The four retraced their route, surprised at the drastically changed landscape, and only after some questioning did they realize they had been tricked, nearly letting Torgoguryr take advantage of them.

It wasn’t just a problem of being outflanked; with Torgoguryr’s descent assured from both the front and rear, the situation became dire.
