Chapter 732: Chapter 292: Speak Some Heartfelt Words
Wayne raised his arm, the sharp blade reflecting his own face.
His entire head resembled an ancient rock weathered and eroded by time, covered with layers of proliferating wrinkles. These irregular wrinkles intertwined, presenting a sickly pallor.
Without distinct facial features, there was no trace of human emotion, hence no fear and confusion, symbolizing an unpredictable mystery.
"A bit creepy, but..."
Indeed beautiful!
His new skin symbolized life, a transformation brought about by the stable Golden Triangle; it was also the initial natural framework Wayne had envisioned.
This proof, still a vast distance from the universe, verified Wayne’s previous conjectures and also showed that there was still potential for progress within The Book of Greed.
The Book of Greed was Wayne, and he could still evolve.
At this moment, Wayne’s power stemmed from within, no longer relying on the strength of the God-chosen Knight. However, because the starting point was intricately linked with the God-chosen, he henceforth named this form the Knight.
Originally, whether according to Wayne’s own evolution or the structural framework of the Life Alliance, he should have been called the Life Knight.
But because of this pale life, Wayne named himself the Pale Knight, incidentally making a clear distinction from the Life Alliance.
Lest he be visited by the five Goddesses demanding copyright fees, and after a dispute and lawsuit, he remained the same old sycophantic servant to five masters.
Wayne’s transformation caught the attention of Saina and Anastasia. They hadn’t seen Wayne’s face, only the silhouette wrapped in pale armor.
The lifeless pallor, seemingly a symbol of death and decay, paradoxically represented the very beginning of life.
The pale armor enveloped a non-human, transcendent, imperceptible, and untouchable ancient power, like an insurmountable chasm, invoking in them a profound reverence and an even stronger yearning.
They wanted it!
They craved to possess it!
Saina trembled with excitement, and Anastasia’s body likewise quivered slightly, yearning to shed that armor and merge with it.
"Saina, charge, aim for that head. I want to have a heart-to-heart with Torgoguryr."
"Roar Roar Roar————"
Upon receiving Wayne’s command, the Pale Giant Dragon took flight, soaring into the sky at top speed.
The body of the Giant Dragon began to transform, just like Wayne’s form after merging with The Book of Greed. Its surface secreted an abundance of foam, donning a layer of pale keratinous shell.
The keratinous layer grew like thorns, layers upon layers. Though it was a creature of flesh, it emitted an indifferent metallic sheen. The single eye on its chest contracted into the Giant Dragon’s vertical pupil, emanating information, singing praises of the grandeur of life.
Hearing this unreasonable sound, Torgoguryr raged furiously, looking at the oncoming Giant Dragon as countless tentacles spread out in all directions, allowing Wayne to approach and debate the true nature of life up close.
Boom!!!
The Giant Dragon dashed, its wings arced past the mist, striking precisely at Torgoguryr’s protuberant cranial orifice.
The dark green tentacles with curved sharp teeth, resembling giant pythons out for prey, entwined around the Giant Dragon and contracted rapidly. Disproportionate in size, after just one encounter, the Giant Dragon’s figure disappeared without a trace.
Suddenly, a white blob of flesh swelled violently, a kilometer in diameter, wielding many pale tentacles, taking the place where the Giant Dragon had been.
The dark green tentacles stretched taut, nearly snapping from the abrupt change. Sharp teeth dug deep into the white flesh, colliding two starkly different messages about life.
Torgoguryr: Wibble wobble!
Wayne: Blah blah blah!
Torgoguryr: Funny mud pee!
Wayne: Fcuk you second uncle!
Such are the simple and unadorned conversations between higher beings.
The dialogue between the two monsters was filled with madness, condensing the chaotic and complex knowledge of the void, extremely aggressive and polluting, extreme and beyond description. Translated, it amounts to something like this.
Gradually, because Wayne had the louder voice, he won the argument. The teeth embedded in the white flesh melted, contaminated in reverse into foam, extending up the dark green tentacles, heading straight for Torgoguryr’s huge face.
Torgoguryr was scared green!
He roared in anger, unable to believe his life was inferior to Wayne’s, that hysterical madness carrying a destructive anger capable of annihilating everything.
The low and hoarse roar sounded as if an ancient creature had fully awakened from slumber, speaking the cosmos’s secrets in its unique language.
The terrifying oppression was unbearable for Anastasia. Uncontrollably, her body began to evolve towards the direction of the tentacles, her facial features gradually fading away.
This process exacerbated Anastasia’s thought mutations. She wanted to resist, but even more so, she yearned.
As Saina had said, it was difficult to accept at first, but once accustomed, it felt truly comfortable, feeling as though she knew everything there was to know about the world.
Up in the sky, the enraged Torgoguryr unleashed his might, calling back all the parts of his body split across the world. Black fissures touched and sealed, tentacles as vast as mountains converged and fused.
Behind the fabric of space, the Black Mountain Range that had been split by the God-chosen Knight also became whole at this moment, descending from the heavens with an unstoppable force.
Boom!
The deafening noise echoed in all directions. Countless black rocks turned into meteors and fell. At this moment, the sky was torn asunder, the twisted space folded like crumpled paper. Along with the initial blast, the entire sky began to collapse.
