Chapter 715: Chapter 287: The Gathering of the Five Chosen Ones_4
Wayne said sincerely, "If I told the truth from the beginning, you definitely wouldn’t have agreed, so I had no choice but to do this."
"Right, right, right, so you don’t like playing cards!"
Dreyne, full of anger yet suppressing it, asked, "So what are you trying to prove, your talents, that you’ve received the recognition of three Goddesses at the same time?"
"No, the Goddesses wouldn’t share a God-chosen Knight, even if all three Goddesses are revered by the Life Alliance. If I can do it, it must be with the Goddesses’ tacit approval."
Wayne spoke with a solemn expression, "I can’t speak with the Goddesses, don’t understand their profound intentions, I only know that I have arrived at the Icebound Continent, and this may well be the Goddesses’ guidance."
These words extinguished Dreyne’s flames of rage—the logic was sound; without the nod of the Goddesses, Wayne couldn’t have been so outstanding.
"You are just an heir, far from the true strength of a real God-chosen Knight. Even with three divine recognitions, you can’t change much..."
Dreyne’s face showed a complex expression, "I’m not clear on what the Goddesses want, I can only guess that the crisis is extremely serious. Either Mula, Leo, or I must fall here, or perhaps all three of us will die. You are the trump card prepared by the Goddess, to prevent the situation from spiraling out of control."
"Perhaps."
What else could Wayne say? Dreyne had already rationalized it for him; all he could do was nod in agreement.
"Go find Leo. If this is the Goddesses’ will, you must receive the direct recognition of the Dawn Admonition." Dreyne stood lost in his spot, slowly turning to gaze up at the full moon in the sky.
Wayne stepped forward and said in a low voice, "Dreyne, if we can all survive, I am willing to become your heir."
"It’s hard to say..."
Dreyne shook his head slightly, looked Wayne in the eye, and said gravely, "You need to be mentally prepared, the ones who may fall might not be just us three."
"Is it really appropriate to tell me this now? Aren’t you afraid I’ll run?" Wayne shrugged.
Dreyne said nothing, patting Wayne’s shoulder repeatedly. As Wayne turned to leave, she slowly added, "Remember your promise. If we can all survive, you will become my heir."
"I’m not you; my word always counts."
"It better be."
Dreyne’s expression was complex as she raised an eyebrow and said, "Hurry back. You’ve only practiced your Archery Art for half an hour today, you still have seven and a half hours to go."
Suddenly, the time had extended.
"Are we not playing cards anymore?"
"I’ll find time to play with you in the future."

Sun Sealing Land.
Leo, clad in golden Armor, was utterly dumbfounded, listening to Wayne’s story in its entirety, frozen in place.
As a Knight of the Sun Goddess, Leo’s physique and appearance need no elaboration, the epitome of masculine beauty, quite sizable, the kind who could dance all over once the Armor came off.
"So you’re my heir, and then... you’re also Mula’s and Dreyne’s heir?"
Leo managed to straighten out the relationship, his tongue a bit tied, still somewhat disbelieving. As a proud God-chosen Knight, he had seen it all, but shared recognitions by three Goddesses were unheard of.
Yet the Divine Power of the Sun displayed by Wayne was indubitably genuine, indeed the heir he recognized. In other words, the shared divine recognition was the real deal.
Leo and Dreyne had thought of the same possibility. Seeing Wayne look as usual, seemingly unconcerned, Leo couldn’t help feeling agreement and promptly drew out the Dawn Admonition.
The Golden War Spear, long and sturdy, seemed to be forged of pure Gold, every line exuding nobility and solemnity.
The tip of the spear gathered a bright and intense light, as if containing the infinite energy of the sun. Held in Leo’s hand, the radiance emanated like golden rays piercing through the clouds, illuminating the earth.
Besides the Dawn Admonition, Leo’s Sun Armor came with a medal and a golden short sword for close combat, fully equipped, armed to the teeth.
Both the medal and the short sword were parts of the Armor, not independent, all ultimately stemming from the Dawn Admonition.
Wayne took the Dawn Admonition and slowly raised it above his head. As Leo released the restrictions, the Magic Power in his body was tinged with pure golden color by the sunlight.

The Book of Greed swallowed in one gulp, and on its cover, the five corresponding small eyeballs shone brightly.
The natural green, the gold of the sun, the silver of the moonlight, the black of darkness, the gray of Death, the five great God-chosen powers merged in one body, at this moment shining together.
At the center of the cover, the Great Eyeball representing Wayne sparked with unprecedented brightness.
He was gradually understanding everything!
"Life..."
