Chapter 605: Chapter 255: Elemental Mantra, Dragon Knight’s Mount_2
The White Knight Armor’s overall design is simple and elegant, with no excessive decorations or complex patterns, yet it exhibits a noble and mysterious presence. Its edges are rounded and smooth, radiating a soft glow like that of ice.
At the joints of the armor, white crystal chips fit tightly together, solid without sacrificing aesthetics.
At the face armor location, a white mask concealed Wayne’s face, his green eyes shining through, ensuring his vision was unhindered.
Wayne felt a strong life force within the armor, as well as...
According to the categorization and integration of The Book of Greed, the Elemental Mantra could easily manipulate the Four Elements of earth, fire, water, and wind, and it also included the divine powers of the sun and moon.
Though not predominant, they certainly did exist.
Why does the God-chosen Knight of nature possess the divine powers of the sun and moon? Are you sure it’s a Naturalist Knight, not a Knight of the Life Alliance?
And what about the promised Naturalist Knight? This armor isn’t green either!
Wayne didn’t quite understand and guessed that the three goddesses of the Life Alliance were on good terms, not just fair-weather friends, allowing their Knight to borrow each other’s powers.
Following this assumption, the appearances of the God-chosen Knights of the sun and moon would not differ much from that of the Naturalist Knight.
"It really can..."
Mula stared blankly at the Naturalist Knight before him. In the past, he could only see the complete armor in the mirror, but now...
Having a successor was ostensibly a happy affair, but for some reason, he felt a twinge of disappointment.
Upon deeper reflection, the likely reason was seeing the Elemental Mantra readily accept Wayne and complete the fusion right before his eyes.
Mula’s expression was odd, experiencing this situation for the first time and realizing he wasn’t as generous as he thought.
On the other hand, The Book of Greed let out a satisfied belch, and on its cover, nature rose to prominence, surpassing darkness and death with a slim advantage to take the lead.
At the same time, the little eyes representing sun and moon also became stronger.
With Wayne benefiting, everyone had their share to gain; that vibrant state where all life thrived and competed seemed still within view!
Wayne grew accustomed to the power of the Naturalist Knight, assessing in his mind: although the Divine Power surpassed that of the Death Knight, due to his unfamiliarity with it, it was difficult for the actual combat effectiveness to rival the Death Knight’s.
Conversely, the attraction lay in the Elemental Mantra’s ability to control the Four Elements.
What fine equipment!
Wayne was extremely pleased, dispelling the power of the Elemental Mantra and handing the Knight’s Sword back to Mula with both hands.
"Wayne, don’t you want to try out the new powers you’ve received?"
Mula asked, puzzled. When he was first acknowledged by the Elemental Mantra, he was ecstatic, wildly celebrating for three days and nights before calming down.
Wayne’s maturity was clear in contrast, causing Mula some embarrassment; looking back at himself, he seemed like an Ace of Clubs with a new toy, too childish.
"No, I was only able to communicate with the Elemental Mantra with Mr. Mula’s permission. I can’t unleash the full power of this sword; reckless use would only bring it shame," Wayne said with sincerity.
Just a God-chosen Knight, he had been through it three times; there wasn’t much to get excited about.
Wayne’s behavior impressed Mula greatly. A young man gaining powerful strength while still keeping his heart unaffected by desire was far better than he could claim for himself.
Mula commended Wayne’s talent and appreciated his mentality even more, believing he would become the most outstanding Naturalist Knight.
Mula put away the Elemental Mantra, encouragingly saying, "Wayne, don’t be discouraged. Becoming a God-chosen Knight isn’t about instant strength; it requires relentless training. You feel weak only because you’ve had too little time..."
"Additionally, your own level as a Mage also affects the abilities of a God-chosen Knight. Work hard, and in the future, you will surely surpass me."
"Of course, I can’t hand the Elemental Mantra over to you just yet. I have a mission in the Icebound Continent, but rest assured, it won’t be long before the Elemental Mantra belongs solely to you."
Belongs solely? Forget it!
Wayne never thought about monopolizing the Elemental Mantra. Like Shadowmare and Twilight Deadlock, he hoped someone would stand in front of him. Otherwise, if the goddesses turned their attention his way, a servant of three masters like him would definitely be in trouble.
Just like the lousy excuse, "I practiced outside for you, and with them, it was just for fun," the Goddess definitely wouldn’t buy it.
Mula had serious responsibilities. As for the specific task, he kept it to himself. After pondering something, he said to Wayne, "I may need your help soon, but... it’s dangerous. Be prepared; during this time get familiar with the Elemental Mantra and try to grow stronger as quickly as possible."
Mula’s words were cryptic. He didn’t want to reveal too much; he simply wanted Wayne to be mentally prepared and shared control of the Elemental Mantra with him. When Mula was not using the Elemental Mantra, Wayne could transform into a Knight to hone his battle skills.
Naturalist Knight (✗)
Headless Knight (√)
"By the way, if I really need your help when the time comes, remember to find yourself a mount. The Life Armor will grant the mount great strength, and even an ordinary racehorse can become a Magical Being with intelligence and impressive abilities," Mula reminded.
Wayne cocked his head. What about an Undead Warhorse?
It presumably wouldn’t work.
"Wayne, do you have any ideas?"
"I thought of a dragon."
"A Giant Dragon?!" Mula exclaimed in surprise. Where was there a Giant Dragon? He never encountered such a piece of luck.
"A Mage with Dragon Blood roughly counts as a Giant Dragon..."
Wayne thought for a moment. No racehorses were available, but Saina had one. He didn’t have to wait for Veronica to grow up; there was already a suitable one right now.
He would try riding it when he got back.
Excellent! The dream of becoming a Dragon Knight was within reach!
