Chapter 602: Chapter 254 Naturalist Knight Mula_2

"Of course, she’s Austin’s lover and has silently given so much to this family for years. The teacher didn’t say anything, clearly acknowledging her status," Wayne took the opportunity to advocate for monogamy, insisting on one husband and one wife, urging Veronica to learn from Hefei’s open-mindedness.

Veronica frowned: "That’s not right, Megan and Mister Lando... They shouldn’t be in that kind of relationship."

"Why did Megan lose her mind in the Nightmare Corridor?"

"Ah, this..."

"Stop lying to yourself, you think so too."

"..."

Veronica had no reply to that and followed up with, "Mister Lando is really despicable. You can’t learn everything from him, otherwise, I’ll beat you to death."

Wow, now you’re being clever!

Wayne rolled his eyes: "Too late, Austin, in order to seem normal and not too obviously a scumbag, not only enthusiastically arranged a secretary for me but also introduced me to other girlfriends."

"Really?"

Veronica was highly skeptical, considering the relationship between two generations of trash bins, she thought Wayne was deliberately framing.

But out of trust for the trash bin, she somewhat believed it.

"Really, the girlfriends he introduced you knew all of them, Chris and Vily, and he said you got along well, especially Chris—if it were her, you certainly wouldn’t object."

"Nonsense!"

Something crossed Veronica’s mind, and her face flushed red in an instant; she punched Wayne in the face, forbidding his daytime fantasies.

Speaking of which, she reiterated the pure beauty of his first love, advising Wayne to stop spreading rumors about his senior and suggesting he could use Vily as an example if he must talk ill of someone.

The two went to the basement, where Wayne took out two bottles of Dragon Blood. Veronica removed her coat, proudly wearing the Drake Scale Bodysuit, smugly raising an eyebrow at the societal trash.

No fear of being deceived anymore!

Wayne didn’t insist, he opened the Sealing Bottle to purify Veronica’s bloodline; the two bottles of Dragon Blood worked wonders, burning until late into the night before stopping.

Veronica’s bloodline had advanced, and she was too exhausted to move, lazily yawning while resting in Wayne’s arms.

Wayne princess-carried her out of the basement, heading straight to the second-floor bathroom for a bath.

...

The next day at noon, Veronica opened her eyes to find herself and Wayne lying under the same blanket. Her face turned red in an instant; she lowered her head and buried it in his chest, pretending to continue sleeping.

It smells so good! x2

After an hour of dawdling, Wayne was kicked out of bed, put on his shirt, and, holding his pants, went down to the living room on the first floor.

Saina: (눈‸눈)

This is her home, not a love hotel. She requests that the two guests show some decency, please.

"What does it matter, you’re mine already. Your home is my home," Wayne said, while training Saina, enjoying the sight of her struggling and resisting, secretly thinking this was exactly the right flavor.

Saina, avoiding the sickening topic, reported on the investigation team’s work. In summary, it yielded no progress; no evidence to speak of, no witnesses, knowing the Pope was problematic but unable to do anything about him.

However, since the investigation team was established, it wouldn’t just investigate the assassination attempt on Wayne.

Saina was planning to put indirect pressure on the Pope. That old guy had unclean hands, and though there wasn’t an opportunity in the past, now that she had one, she was certain they would find something.

Wayne was utterly uninterested in all these; a bunch of rotten people competing in rottenness didn’t suit someone as pure and innocent as himself.

As they were speaking, Saina’s eyes lit up; she sashayed up behind Wayne, wrapping him in a fragrant breeze, and started kneading his shoulders, asking how the pressure felt.

Veronica, having finished dressing, came downstairs to the living room and witnessed this shocking scene, doubting she was still asleep.

Even if it’s just acting, this is too intimate.

He’s your student’s student, still a child!

Veronica sat on the opposite sofa, dumbfounded, remembering yesterday’s lesson; she didn’t flare up immediately, deciding to observe a bit longer and collect some evidence on the side.

The atmosphere in the living room instantly turned eerie.

Wayne, not perturbed at all, raised an eyebrow towards Veronica and gave her a look, then grabbed the little hand on his shoulder and kissed it.

Whoosh!

Saina, as if she had teleported, jumped far away, her face a mix of blue and red. Clearly, she hadn’t expected Wayne would mess around.

What the heck, so prudish, what sort of act is this?!

Veronica snorted, fully believing Wayne’s claim, Saina was clearly doing it on purpose, a test that had easily revealed the truth.

So boring!

Veronica huffed twice and left with light steps. She hadn’t eaten anything from the previous night until now and decided to head to the kitchen to prepare lunch to toss into the trash bin.

Saina, ever so astute, realized instantly her plan had failed, regretting it deeply. Just a small hand-kiss, if she had just endured a bit longer earlier, she would have made it through!

That being said, making it through would have been quite difficult. Touched by the blessing of proximity, which meant the hand-kiss, Saina felt a jolt as if electrocuted, her whole body trembling with excitement.

The current was just right, neither the trivial itch of a scratch through boots nor the intense pain that frightened; it left her craving more, even longing for another taste.

Saina’s reason resisted fiercely, but her body and thoughts charged ahead, refusal mixed with desire. She examined her heart, once again adopting a pessimistic view of the future.

"Why stand so far away? I’m easy to talk to. If you want to be close, just say it outright; I won’t refuse you," Wayne said, patting the sofa next to him.

Saina moved uncontrollably towards Wayne, her body trembling with fear as she sat next to him. She took the initiative to wrap her arm around him, leaning her head against his.

"Teacher Saina, you smell so good!"

Wayne spoke mockingly, then warned, "Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to. I’ll let it slide considering you assisted me. Just be careful in the future, or you might bite off more than you can chew."
