Chapter 468: Chapter 209: Birthday_3
"Additionally," if it’s not too much trouble, Auston’s son is quite interesting too. No one knows how Obb died; bring him to me."
Guyin looked bewildered; there were too many targets for the mission.
"Uh, it is somewhat tiring, but I believe you won’t disappoint me."
The mysterious figure patted Guyin’s shoulder, sympathetically saying, "Start with the container of The Seven Demon Kings. I know where they are hiding. Be careful, though; the Royal Holy Light Knights are stationed there, and the captain is quite powerful."
"As for the mission of the Demon God Setoras, it’s not urgent for now. Push it back a bit; if you can’t manage, there is still Juliet. She definitely can."
Unbeknownst to him, the mysterious figure persuaded Guyin, whispering devilish temptations by his ear, "Your talent is very powerful. Following Setoras is beneath you. Do well, and if you can complete all the missions, I will recommend you to the great Lord Pride."
Guyin’s breathing became heavier. Just hearing about Lord Pride made his master, the Demon God Setoras, seem less appealing.
"Go on, give it your all; show us what you’re capable of."
A cold wind brushed against his face, making Guyin shudder.
By the time he regained his senses, the mysterious figure had left, and he seemed to have forgotten about the person. Glancing at the crow on the wall, he cautiously took it back.
"There are many tasks assigned by the master. I don’t have much time to study the Misty Domain. I need to find the container of The Seven Demon Kings first; controlling this trump card is the only way I can complete the other tasks."
Guyin thought himself lucky. Thankfully I woke up in time, otherwise, I’d end up like Marius, slaughtered by the Death Knight.
A hazy full moon hung in the night sky as Guyin’s half-transparent body passed through walls, disappearing into the thick fog.
He headed to the hiding place of The Seven Demon Kings Vessel, following the intelligence he had.

Time circled around to January 11th; it was Wayne’s birthday.
He didn’t issue any invitations, intending to have a low-key celebration, but just because he wasn’t interested, didn’t mean others didn’t care.
For example, Butler Philark had taken out a gift early in the morning.
A gold pen.
It was a token of affection from Philark and the four maids.
Wayne couldn’t reject it; he accepted it with a smile, and after the four maids left, he pulled Philark aside, "Didn’t we agree not to make a fuss? Surely you haven’t prepared a surprise for me?"
Wayne felt anxious; as the person closest to him, Philark knew him very well, especially when it came to birthdays, Philark was acutely aware.
"Master, there is no birthday party tonight. The gift earlier was just a personal gesture from us," Philark said, his monocle twinkling.
A trustworthy glint!
What was Wayne fretting about? Philark knew everything; time could be managed, but it wouldn’t be toyed with. The scoundrel who tries to play with time will inevitably face retribution.
This wasn’t a birthday; it was a day of suffering.
As a professional butler, Philark only felt sympathy for his master. He assured Wayne that tonight would be calm, without any shocks.
Only then did Wayne relax, "No one has called the house, right?"
"There was one call from The Moonlight Church, the assistant of the High Priest, Miss Vernar from the twins. She was inquiring about your plans for tonight," Philark replied.
Wayne tensed up, knowing the High Priest had found out his birthday, and he might have to walk into a lion’s den tonight.
"I’ve told Miss Vernar that due to your status as the illegitimate child of the Lando Family, the birth date on the documents is false," Philark stated calmly.
"Well done!"
Wayne clapped Philark on the shoulder; this was professionalism. With Philark around, no chains were needed to guide the boat.
This was secure!
To be safe, Wayne had taken leave two days ago, using the same excuse Philark had, a bastard child, a fake birthday, no point in wasting a gift on that.
Wayne counted on his fingers and thought, without those two troublemakers, he would go to Lando Manor for dinner tonight, collect three to four gifts, and safely get through his birthday without any surprises.
And it was very possible, because of his birthday, he might even update Veronica’s progress bar.
After several days of searching for the devil without avail, Wayne decided to treat himself to a feast tonight.
Consider it a reward for himself.
...
Five o’clock in the evening, Lando Manor.
Wayne wandered around the house, peeked into the dining room as he passed by, and realized that there was no banquet set for tonight.
"It’s my birthday and the teacher didn’t prepare anything? Could it be she’s too busy with work and forgot about me?" Wayne touched his chin, feeling that something was off.
Monica’s figure flickered by the corner.
Wayne’s eyes lit up, he quickly followed her nimble steps and chased after her.
Soon, he cornered the flustered black cat against the wall, used his thick skin to his advantage, forcefully cuddled her in his arms, and began petting her.
"Monica, up high!"
"Why are you still here?"
Austin appeared with a smile, "I remember today is your birthday. Isn’t it inappropriate for you, the man of the hour, to be absent?"
"Am I not already here?"
Wayne said sullenly, "I checked the dining room, there’s nothing prepared, the teacher must be too busy with work and forgot my birthday."
"No, Hefei had prepared your birthday gift two days ago. She took the day off, didn’t go to work, and has been decorating the venue. She knows you don’t care much about it and wanted to give you a surprise."
Austin pointed left and right, still smiling, "Look, even Megan was borrowed by her."
Indeed, Megan, who was usually inseparable from Austin, wasn’t by his side.
Wayne was puzzled, "Where’s this venue you speak of? I haven’t seen it."
Not to mention a venue, there wasn’t a soul in sight.
"In your villa, I invited a few friends in your name."
Wayne: ∑(꒪⌓꒪;)
"What, what friends?"
"The ones from the movie theater private booking, who else could there be?"
Austin looked puzzled, "Why are you sweating? I remember you said you don’t have many friends, and by coincidence, they all happen to be female friends, or did I remember wrong?"
You bastard, I’ll get you someday!
Wayne, furious, dropped Monica and turned to...
"It’s too late to run now."
Austin picked up the second-hand goods and petted her while standing by the window, musing, "They’ve prepared gifts for you with all their hearts, each one representing their feelings, you better not disappoint them."
I’ll get you right now!
Wayne charged forward, aiming a flying kick at Austin’s lower back.
He missed.
He landed on his feet, looked up to see Austin waving a cat’s paw at him, murmured an expletive under his breath, and with a face ready for noble sacrifice, walked towards the young master’s villa.
