Chapter 1304: Chapter 437 Uriel: He’s slandering me! He’s slandering me!_4

"..."x3

Hexuno: I heard everything.

Vikul: You praised Pride several times and promised more than once to take him to Heaven.

Kiraal: Whether he slandered you or not, just tell me if what he holds is the Stigmata!

Thinking back to how even he acknowledged Pride—ugh, nearly blinded by Pride—Hexuno felt deeply ashamed, while Vikul was so angry his liver hurt. Both instinctively avoided mentioning it, choosing instead to let Uriel bear the burden alone.

"Uriel, there’s no need for explanations. Right and wrong, fairness and justice are clear to me. You are innocent—it’s the Demon King who forcibly stole your Divine Power using despicable means." Hexuno took the lead in falsifying testimony.

No matter what, Uriel had previously shielded her, and she owed him this favor.

Uriel nodded repeatedly, casting Hexuno a grateful glance. He knew this was reciprocity—Hexuno would certainly lend him a hand.

Bestowing the Stigmata to the Demon King of Seven Deadly Sins, praising the Demon King’s virtues publicly, even promising to lead him to Heaven—each act was against Heaven’s principles, each a grave dereliction and betrayal.

Three consecutive mortal sins? Even Michael couldn’t protect him.

With Hexuno paving the way, everything that followed felt utterly natural.

Vikul said lightly: "Uriel Archangel, your position makes you destined to be targeted by the Demon King. There’s no need to get angry; don’t panic. I saw with my own eyes—it’s all part of the Demon King’s scheme."

"Vikul, truly fitting of your role as a symbol of gentleness—you speak softly and always make sense." Uriel nodded repeatedly. The Seven Virtues truly ought to love and care for one another.

I’M ABOUT TO EXPLODE FROM ANGER. GENTLE? REALLY?

As an upright Angel, manipulated by the Pope, sabotaged by his own side, surrounded by incompetent teammates—his stomach churned with rage. Now, hearing the word ’gentle’ made him want to lash out.

What’s wrong with being gentle? Does gentleness mean you’re destined to be bullied?

Finally, it was Kiraal’s turn to express his stance. He didn’t say much—just a faint nod to show his willingness to trust Uriel.

In an instant, Uriel’s spine straightened visibly.

"Tsk tsk tsk, so this is the Seven Virtues—how wonderful. Upholding justice, abiding by the law, never uttering a false word. With you all, Heaven is blessed; Hell, what an honor!"

Lord Pride wasn’t eager to launch an attack. Instead, he raised his hand and pointed at each one: "Granting the Stigmata, information, and entry tokens to Hell with generosity; purity indulging in lust; restraint loosening its grip—perhaps the Seven Virtues should be rebranded as the Four Virtues..."

"No, adding humility, which surpasses even my Pride—Heaven’s Seven Virtues are down to three..."

Lord Pride didn’t utter a single word, yet the corresponding Angel took a step back. He turned to the last—Vikul—and chuckled: "And you, old friend, what sin have you committed? Right now, don’t you feel the flames of Wrath?"

Vikul snorted coldly: "I don’t understand what ’Wrath’ means—that’s the Demon King of Wrath’s sinful nature."

"Is this really alright? With such aloofness, it’s hard for you to blend with the Seven Virtues. You’ll end up ostracized," Lord Pride laughed aloud.

The audience was sparse—only Wayne, the Queen, and three Seraphs—but that didn’t matter. Joy was never rushed; the truth would eventually be revealed to all.

"The Demon King guilty of heinous sins is still here fabricating lies!"

Uriel berated sharply, calling everyone to action. Against the Seven Deadly Sins, there was no need to talk of Knightly virtue or Seven Virtues.

"Don’t rush. Don’t fight yet. We’re too powerful—if we clash, Lundan will be destroyed."

Lord Pride spoke leisurely: "Unlike you, I care deeply for peace and stability in the Mortal World. The battlefield cannot be here. Let’s go somewhere else to chat alone, shall we?"

"You’re trying to run?"

"I am Pride. When have I ever been a deserter?"

"..."

True enough—a fleeing Pride wouldn’t be Pride!

Lord Pride raised his hand, opening a portal: "Come on, let’s go chat over the ocean. You’ve kept me waiting far too long."

Seeing the four old friends unmoving, Pride shrugged: "Though I’m a Devil, I never lie to old friends—am I not right?"

Their faces flushed as if stung by his mockery.

Uriel frowned, steering the conversation elsewhere: "Pride, before we fight, clarify your purpose for coming to the Mortal World."

"You all know I know why you came to the Mortal World—do you really need me to spell it out?" Lord Pride said smugly.

"How did you come to know of the Saint Heir’s prophecy?"

Uriel spoke with hatred. So Heaven did have traitors, leaking such crucial information to Lord Pride.

Saint Heir!!!

Pride’s heart trembled. What was the Saint Heir? Who was the Saint Heir? The child of the Heavenly Father?

Uriel, how generous you truly are!

"Kekekekeke————"

"That’s right, that’s exactly what I think. I will pave the way for the Saint Heir’s descent into the Mortal World, for he must surely follow me to Hell!"
