Chapter 1302: Chapter 437 Uriel: He’s slandering me! He’s slandering me!_2
There’s no amusement, but he’ll force some amusement into existence.
"Best, I’ve seen your determination to ascend to Heaven, your heart of justice and your principles of fairness. I believe you will achieve your dream and enter Heaven. Do you understand?" Uriel said indifferently.
"I understand. Heaven is fair and equitable, the Holy Light is pure and flawless, and there is no room for even the slightest blemish or deceit. I will defend the glory of Heaven with my life." Bedford declared boldly.
I think you’ve understood absolutely nothing!
Under Uriel’s speechless gaze, Bedford raised the Stigmata high, revealing the emblem of Uriel’s Angel Legion.
A golden crucifix formed by the Holy Spear and wings.
Bedford recited the Bible’s verses, his unwavering eyes locked onto Wayne. Gradually, a golden light blossomed in his pupils, his sacred visage seemingly safeguarding justice.
Don’t be foolish. Only the Seven Deadly Sins and the Seven Virtues can see the truth. The Stigmata in your hands reveals absolutely nothing.
Hexuno, Uriel, and Vikul shook their heads repeatedly.
"Fine, I’ll let you see clearly who the true Archangel actually is."
Wayne opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue, revealing the Cross Stigma on top, polished meticulously by Hexuno, extracted piece by piece without any chance of being discerned by Bedford.
He only received a ticket to Heaven; he’s not even an Angel.
"I see it! You’re not Archangel Hexuno!"
Bedford broke out into a cold sweat. As the divine intent surged through him, his face turned pale in an instant.
Suddenly, a faint trace of joy emerged on his pale face. Pointing behind Wayne, towards Hexuno: "Your secretary, the nun from St. Paul Cathedral, she is Archangel Hexuno!"

Everyone was collectively stunned.
The Insectoids were all looking incredulous. Rather than saying they were shocked, it seemed more accurate to say they were skeptical. If Wayne’s secretary were the Archangel...
Why is it that every beautiful woman ends up being seduced by him? After finishing with the mortal world, he moves onto Heaven, even seducing the Archangel herself—this makes no sense.
Unlike the startled Insectoids, Hexuno, Uriel, and Vikul were overwhelmed with anxiety, their faces betraying hints of shock.
Especially Hexuno, who had successfully deceived the Seven Virtues, united with them in chastising the Seven Deadly Sins for lying, and seemed to have cleared all obstacles—only for a passerby to suddenly uncover the truth.
A coincidence?
Hexuno hastily transmitted a message to Wayne, urging him to stop watching the spectacle and come forward to take responsibility.
"Uriel, what are you doing?"
Wayne’s thoughts were far deeper than Hexuno’s. Coincidence was out of the question—Bedford didn’t have the capability. Clearly, this was Uriel’s secret manipulation.
His expression grew solemn, and his tone became heavier: "I am Hexuno, you know this in your heart. Don’t let your men speak nonsense. Lying won’t get anyone into Heaven!"
Uriel snapped out of his state of shock, feeling somewhat at a loss for words as he added weight to his own tone: "Bedford, what nonsense are you spouting? That secretary is just an ordinary nun, Wayne is Hexuno. If you dare to slander the Archangel further, persistently intent on distorting the truth, you can forget about entering Heaven in the future."
Bedford looked at Uriel incredulously and asked in a trembling voice: "Master Uriel, look into my righteous eyes and tell me—who is Archangel Hexuno, truly?"

At this moment, Bedford, though merely a human and not physically imposing, appeared in the eyes of the three representatives of the Seven Virtues as a towering figure supported by a sacred radiance. Holding high the banner of justice and morality, he was a giant in soul.
The brilliant light emanating from him was blinding, making it impossible for them to look directly at him.
"Master Uriel, speak up!"
"Speak, speak what? Wayne is Hexuno. You’re lying, and you have no right to ascend to Heaven." A trace of ruthlessness flickered in Uriel’s eyes as he raised his hand to strip away the Stigmata he had bestowed.
Unaware of human interactions, refusing to obey leadership—there’s no place for you in Heaven.
"Uriel, it is you who lies, along with Hexuno. You’re both lying. I am the true justice; as for Heaven... it matters not if I go!" Bedford declared resolutely.
A statement of undeniable truth!
Felster silently echoed these words in his heart, feeling profoundly moved by his own sentiments. He found Pride to be just and righteous, hot-blooded and deserving of ascending to Heaven.
He was simply unwilling to renounce the sugar-coated allure of capitalism; otherwise, he would have already taken a stance to support Bedford.
Hexuno appeared utterly shamed. Vikul shifted uncomfortably, full of self-reproach. The two representatives of the Seven Virtues were silently acknowledging Bedford’s noble character, one fitting to enter Heaven.
Unlike themselves, who crafted excuses and told lies for the sake of preserving the overall situation.
Uriel’s trembling hand hesitated as he prepared to withdraw the Stigmata, pondering whether he should quietly return it to Bedford later, away from prying eyes.
This would preserve the glory of the Kingdom of Heaven while imparting a lesson to Bedford about workplace dynamics.
But as he contemplated this, Uriel suddenly realized something was amiss. Apparently—possibly—perhaps... he could no longer retrieve the Stigmata.
What was going on?
Uriel’s gaze turned sharp, appalled as he looked at Bedford: "You—what are you...?"
"Hehehehehe————"
The overly pale complexion on Bedford’s face dissipated. His back straightened, his legs steadied, and he replied cheerfully: "Old friend, have you forgotten me? I’m the one you acknowledged as fit to ascend to Heaven!"
"Pride..."
Uriel’s pupils contracted sharply, and he shot upright with a start: "You bastard, how are you here?"
"Oh my—"
"A Devil, the Great Demon King has descended to the Mortal World!"
Felster let out a piercing scream. Situated in the front row, he spun around and burrowed into the Insectoid ranks, protecting his colleagues as quickly as possible.
The Insectoids retreated in a flurry, either leaping out of windows or rushing through doors, scattering from the banquet hall amidst cries of panic.
Queen Sophia turned pale with fright, unable to process why Bedford would be the Lord of Pride. Without pause, she turned and fled...
