Chapter 1295: Chapter 435 Our 7 Virtues Are Just Like This!_3
"Look down on who? I have morals, okay..."
Wayne muttered under his breath and rationally shifted the topic again: "Anyway, I am now Archangel Hexuno, and another Archangel Uriel has descended..."
"The Lando Family power struggle... The Windsor Family is of the Saint George Bloodline... Thick as thieves... Dinner at six tomorrow evening..."
Wayne explained the backstory in detail and sighed: "Yet again, there’s a treacherous scoundrel beside the Queen. Austin is utterly useless, so it falls to me—Wayne—to draw my sword and charge into Buckingham Palace, slay the traitor, clear the court, safeguard the monarch, and restore peace to the Windsor Family."
The shift in the plot was so abrupt that Veronica and the others curiously asked about the banquet tomorrow.
Wayne offered further explanations and concluded: "Tomorrow evening, I’ve set up a card game at Lando Manor. Teacher Slyphy will also attend—she wants to see just how many girls her son has ruined. You better put on a good performance; her impression score is critical, especially you, Veronica—you’re already in the negatives. Teacher Slyphy has been advising me to break up with you."
Old Witch!
Veronica clenched her fists, silently vowing to make her pay tomorrow.
Chris tilted her head: "Teacher will be there too?"
"Mm-hmm, Philomena will attend as well."
"Anyone else?" Viley cut straight to the point, as this was clearly the crucial question.
"Yes, there are others, but they’re all bodyguards I invited."
"I bet they’re all women..." Viley rolled her eyes.
"That’s not accurate..."
Wayne muttered quietly—Ah Bo was a man, and Ah Bin wasn’t even human.
Speaking of which, was it really okay to invite the Resentful Spirit group to Lando Manor for a card game? Veronica deeply disliked Odilia—if a fight broke out, Odilia, constrained by her contract and viewing herself as beneath others, would surely suffer mistreatment.
What, with her actual mother watching, Veronica wouldn’t dare act out?
Then all’s well!
"Are you gathering all these people together, including so many secret girlfriends, just to guard against Angels?" Viley frowned.
"Hmm, Lundan is bringing in a Devil, and seven Angels are holding a meeting. If he has any ideas..."
Wayne shook his head, unwilling to jinx things, and changed the subject: "Anyway, dress well for tomorrow. I won’t allow you to get overshadowed by anyone."
"..."
Do you even hear the nonsense you’re saying? x3
Veronica, intrigued by the thought of dinner at Buckingham Palace, let Chris drag her off as she indulged in Moonlight’s beauty and immediately agreed to join the card game tomorrow with her senior.
Viley, a little worried, yielded to Wayne’s adamant stance and complied obediently.
Leo was still completing tasks in the Inverted World; without Dawn Admonition, she couldn’t help anyway—not that it mattered, as a rookie Knight wouldn’t even compare to Austin and assisting would only be a burden.
The three young women chatted away, then casually found an excuse to head upstairs and select outfits.
Amidst Heya’s sobbing and Hexuno’s glaring, Wayne picked up his phone and made some calls—several in quick succession.
"Odilia? Yes, I’m back. My mom wants to meet you... Don’t worry, she hasn’t prepared either..."
"Mina, tomorrow night’s the date... Oh, a woman crying because of me... Yes, she’s new; you don’t know her..."
"Anna, it’s me—tomorrow evening... Bring Vizi with you; make sure she mocks the current Dark Knight..."
"Hello, Mom—cough, cough—Teacher, tomorrow evening..."
After hanging up, Wayne wiped nonexistent sweat from his forehead—this was exhausting!
Behind him, Heya lay crying in Hexuno’s arms. Hexuno, the water element of the Four Elements, wasn’t much better off; in moments, Heya had soaked Hexuno’s collar with her tears.
"Don’t feel bad; the Archangel you idolize is just a pervert—he’s far from pure."
Under Hexuno’s enraged stare, Wayne gently reassured Heya: "Remember Kiraal, the embodiment of Temperance? Look at him now after reincarnation... At this point, I won’t hide it from you anymore—our Heaven, our Seven Virtues, are just like this!"
"Heya, grow up quickly—when you see the true Heaven, your future accomplishments will surely surpass those of a mere Seraph."
"..."
Heya looked up with tearful eyes. Was the Archangel now willing to infuse her with the Golden Rule and divine intent?
Dream on!
I won’t lie—I’m tempted too!
Wayne cast Heya a dismissive glance—while the rejection was about to escape his lips, under Hexuno’s furious gaze, he altered it to something far more amusing.
"Heya, your ambition to progress is admirable. Here’s the deal—I’ll give you a chance."
Wayne patted Hexuno’s shoulder: "My Golden Rule and Angelic Evolution are both under her control—if you can get her to relent and share a bit, I’ll be there whenever you call."
Finishing his words, he chuckled inwardly.
As he anticipated, Hexuno’s face darkened further, and she coldly pushed Heya away, her gaze icy with rising murderous intent.
"Hexuno, I’m very fond of Heya—you cannot harm her, directly or indirectly!"
Wayne gleefully added: "That’s an order—you know the identity I’m using to command you, don’t you?"
Hexuno grudgingly nodded, and after a long pause, squeezed out a sentence through gritted teeth: "You... Aren’t really a Devil, are you?"
"So what if I am?"
"Sure. But Heaven doesn’t deserve such misfortune."
"Such words—it’s as though Heaven meeting me was some terrible retribution."
...
That night, with guests at home, the three young women refused to meet in the inner room—they’d rather die than move.
Knowing their prideful nature, Wayne reluctantly visited them each individually. When it came to Heya’s room, next door to Hexuno’s quarters, Mona opened the door and let the troublemaker in.
It had nothing to do with Heya—she just cried to her heart’s content.

May 19th, afternoon.
Wayne dropped the three young women off at Lando Manor and returned to Wayne Manor to change into the tailored suit Philark had prepared.
