Chapter 1112: Chapter 389: The 20-Year-Old Programmer, Still Quite Hardy_3
"Boss, should we buy a gift for Regina too?"
"No way, the ’gift’ has a different meaning, neither Anna nor Saina have one, think before you speak." Wayne said speechlessly.
"Exactly, think it through before you speak." Regina’s eyes widened, kind-hearted in helping you, yet you repay kindness with ingratitude.
"What’s with that look, feeling wronged, are you?"
Wayne patted Regina on the head, feeling offended: "You want a gift? I won’t even give you one, you’re too ugly."
"???" x2
Regina didn’t believe it, she thought she looked okay, and Odilia didn’t believe it either. If someone like Regina is considered ugly, then including her, none of the female candidates who participated in the Holy Maiden selection last year could be considered beautiful.
"Let’s go, start from the very first shop up front and charge all the way to the end of the street."
Wayne didn’t answer. Generally speaking, a little beauty like Regina was far from ugly.
But it’s all because her name contains ’Na’!
Philomena, Saina, Anastasia, and the increasingly beautiful Mona after her awakening, all of a sudden Regina pops up, and the reputation of the ’Na’ suffix depreciated along with her.

Two days later, a small church.
Dierda and Heya met Wayne, who had fully recharged.
Just as Odilia had guessed, Wayne spent the past two days reading, and the rest of his time sparring in bodily arts with the Holy Maiden and the Pope.
One is the Holy Maiden of the Dark Church, and the other is the Pope of Naturalism Church, both have been old nemeses at odds for many years—this pair was just too tempting.
Heya frowned upon seeing the two secretaries behind Wayne: "Devil, are you sure you want to bring both of them along?"
"Yeah, it’s to reinforce my playboy persona, so the enemy lets down their guard. A person like me doesn’t look like a spy at all." Wayne, embraced by both sides, smiled like someone who has won at life.
The two secretaries also played coy, feigning shyness and lightly punching Wayne’s chest.
Heya couldn’t bear to look, and Dierda said with embarrassment: "Wayne, there are many ways to make the enemy let down their guard. If you need a female companion, you can have The Walking Lust play your secretary, there’s no need to put them in harm’s way."
Kid, pushing an angel into a pit of fire, you’ve truly learned from the Pope; you’ve broadened your horizons!
Wayne was about to retort but saw Heya frowning as if pondering seriously and quickly waved his hands to decline: "No way, her body is too indecent. Playing her boss, I’d have to dye my hair white and sit in a wheelchair, which is not convenient for investigation work."
Similar to twenty-year-old programmers, still fairly robust in health—he had seen too many of them before.
Heya ground her teeth while Dierda wiped the sweat off his head. Indeed, these two couldn’t be put together; they’d start fighting before the investigation had even begun.
He said with a wry smile: "It’s dangerous, think about it again."
"No need to think about it, my secretaries are no ordinary people. Just watch, with them around, I look even more like a Devil." Wayne hinted with a meaningful smile.
Do you even need to act? Tone it down and you’re a qualified Devil already! x2
Dierda looked at the two secretaries in Wayne’s embrace; apart from being young and pretty, they seemed unremarkable. He suppressed his confusion and didn’t show it, pulling out fake documents from inside his coat.
"Berlin is Prussia’s stronghold; surveillance is very strict. This is a new identity prepared for you by the Papal State; I’m sorry, it doesn’t include your two secretaries."
"No problem, I’ve got it covered."
Wayne shrugged, burning the documents handed over by Dierda. These last two days, he had Saina arrange three new identities; he, Odilia, and Regina were all Black Flags of old Prussia.
Oh, Regina counted as one without needing arrangement.
Seeing Wayne take out three new documents, Dierda was somewhat dumbfounded: "You’re not going to carry out the mission with us?"
"One in the front, one in the back, one in the light, one in the darkness. If you guys blow your cover, it can help draw fire to me, allowing me to continue the investigation." Wayne spoke proficiently.
"Uh, professional!"
"Of course, otherwise how have I repelled the Devil time and again?"
Wayne stared at Dierda and Heya: "You two are too conspicuous, walking with you, I feel extremely insecure, which is not conducive to investigative work. I also hope you two will be more restrained and remember the essence of keeping a low profile."
"Rest assured, we have undergone professional training in the Papal State and know what a spy should and should not do." Dierda raised his hand and smeared it across his face, creating an ordinary look.
"The Papal State teaches this too?"
Wayne’s eyes lit up; it didn’t look like Divine Arts, truly worthy of being the number one force on the God-chosen Continent, with all sorts of skills, almost catching up with Hawaii.

April 4th, 5 p.m.
Two black sedans, one following the other, entered Berlin, the capital of Prussia.
Wynne was more than five hundred kilometers away from Berlin, and taking a plane was the best choice. However, for prudence’s sake, they unanimously declined the plane and chose to drive there.
In the first sedan, the driver was Dierda, while Heya studied makeup in the back seat, striving to make herself look more ordinary.
In the second sedan, the driver was Regina, with Wayne and Odilia sweet-talking in the back seat, effectively feeding Regina with public displays of affection.
The scenes on the streets of Berlin were worlds apart from what Wayne had imagined, influenced by film and television works from his previous life. He thought that during the war, Berlin would be all military fortifications, with barbed wire everywhere, guards at every three steps, sentinels at every five, tanks rolling on the ground, planes flying in the sky, and the Party Guard Corps arresting people all around.
But it wasn’t so. Wartime Berlin was peaceful and tranquil, with thriving shops and bustling crowds. There were no tanks on the roads, though there were plenty of trams.
One could even see fishermen by the river.
Hot knowledge, wartime Berlin operated an eight-hour workday system. Even if there was a life-and-death struggle outside, it didn’t affect the closing of power to the military factories when the time came.
If you feel like you’re carrying a heavy burden, don’t think about it, because for sure someone is living in tranquility on the back of your neck.
Such was Berlin. Her tranquility relied on the plunder of vast materials from the occupied territories.
Of course, there were times when things weren’t so great for her, like a few years ago when a loaf of bread cost 500,000 Mark, and people flocked into bars to hear speeches.
After their arrival in Berlin, Wayne instructed Regina to slow down the car and eventually found a secluded corner to abandon the vehicle.
The car doors weren’t locked, and the keys were still in the ignition.
It probably wouldn’t be long before some benevolent passerby would take the car home for careful maintenance.
"Strictness, integrity, and not picking up lost property are stereotypes of Prussians," Wayne said while leading his two secretaries, wandering around the streets, and set his sights on a fancy hotel.
"Boss, I’m not pleased with your words," Regina protested.
"Just pat on the head."
Wayne rubbed his head and patted Regina on the shoulder, telling her to go and book a room.
Wayne’s command of Windsor Language and Frank Language was very fluent, both in speaking and writing, just like a local, especially the romantic Frank Language which he spoke most authentically.
His Prussian was relatively average compared to the officially designated languages of Roch, capable in speaking, but reading and writing was more challenging. Later, he pursued further studies in the rooms of Saina and Anastasia and mastered these two foreign languages.
Interest is the best teacher, and this saying is so true!
Soon, Regina had opened the rooms.
Wayne’s identity was a traveler from afar looking for relatives, equipped with some money, carrying two secretaries wherever he went. This was the character setup arranged by Saina, which suited his lifestyle well; he could easily get into character with a little restraint.
The suite was on the third floor, with two bedrooms.
Seeing Odilia acting coy, Regina actively spoke up for her, huffing, "I’m used to being alone, I can’t sleep with someone beside me on the pillow, so I’ll occupy a bedroom by myself. You go sleep with the boss to solidify his persona."
How embarrassing!
Odilia wobbled, not agreeing, waiting for Wayne to speak.
"You claim insomnia, then you have it. Are you the boss, or am I?"
Wayne stood by the window, "Both of you sleep in one room. I observed the stars last night, and this trip is bound to be fraught with battles. I need to conserve my energy. If someone checks the room in the middle of the night, you two can slip under my covers."
Odilia’s excited heart immediately cooled, glaring at Regina for babbling nonsense.
Regina just rolled her eyes in curiosity, "Boss, aren’t we going to The Church? Are we still doing the mission?"
"We can’t go now. Let those two go ahead and check for traps."
Wayne explained, "The last time I was doing a mission in a church, the Archbishop switched sides and willingly became the Devil’s minion in the Mortal World. Although it was just a special case, it proved that all sorts of things can be found in Heavenly Father’s Court."
"The Prussian Upper Echelons have the Devil’s Container, and I don’t trust the local clergy in Berlin; I don’t want to be caught in the same frame with them."
"Really? Boss, I thought you would try your best to keep your distance from Miss Heya," Regina exclaimed in surprise.
"I have kept my distance!"
"I meant getting closer."
"Regina, you’ve been a bit cheeky lately; you weren’t like this before."
"People will always grow..." Regina sighed.
"Enough chit-chat, rest up and gather your strength. You’re coming out with me tonight," Wayne said, taking out a map from his bosom.
On the map, a conspicuous red dot was visible.
The New Empire Chancellery!
