Chapter 1087: Chapter 383: It would be a waste for someone like you not to be a capitalist_2
Soskuna looked at Wayne mockingly: "That woman by your side, she doesn’t understand the Goddess at all. If she knew even a little, she wouldn’t have turned into Vizi."
I think you don’t understand anything at all!
Wayne said nothing, adopting a humble demeanor, trying to coax Soskuna into speaking further.
"Looking at you, you must have been deceived by that woman. But that’s fine, now I know the Goddess’s attitude towards me. Becoming a Subsidiary God isn’t easy; I need to defeat each rival, only blood can forge an unshakeable position for a Subsidiary God."
As he spoke, the spatial portal behind Soskuna closed, his body gradually fading, heading towards another space in the God-chosen Continent—The Realm of Storm and Thunder.
"If you dare, follow me. I’ll let you know what kind of opponent the Goddess has chosen for you, and what talents I, Devourer Soskuna, possess!"
Soskuna laughed heartily and stepped through the teleportation portal, not immediately closing it, giving Wayne time to follow.
Dark Knight Vizi did not stop him but raised the Twilight Deadlock, and in a knightly manner, cleared a path for Wayne.
"Well then, I’d like to see just how much this Devourer can handle." Wayne glanced at Idinis, who looked pitiful, a delicate figure fearful of violence.
"Knight Vizi, that woman has taken over your body, using it to flirt and frolic with wild men, who knows how many blessings she has issued. I suggest you take back your body soon and teach her a lesson," Wayne sneered sharply, digging a big pit and swiftly dashed into the transfer portal.
After Wayne left, the transfer portal slowly closed.
Idinis blinked with watery eyes, her eyelashes fluttering, forcibly adding a hint of manipulative air to Vizi’s icy face.
Vizi gripped the Twilight Deadlock tightly, a glint of cold light in her eyes.
Her mind locked onto Idinis, the sword remained still, as a black curtain slashed directly downwards.
Where the dark light passed, all obstructing objects were split in two. The terrifying momentum should have split the sky of the Dark Church Headquarters, but for some reason, it did not.
Vizi thought it was Wayne, who, though he had left, still controlled the Church Headquarters with the Philosopher’s Stone.
The secretly acting Idinis did not make a sound, sidestepped the powerful strike, looking down at the slash line on the floor, patting her small chest: "That was dangerous, I was almost chopped into two by your sword."
Vizi twitched her eyelids, the typically reticent woman, limited in her curse vocabulary, did not say much, raising her sword pointing at Idinis: "Hand over my body, I will allow your mind to leave."
"Why did you voluntarily give up your body and now want it back?"
Idinis looked down at her feet, her voice dripping with sarcasm: "A sturdy body, just not very full, it prevents me from standing tall."
Objectively, this body wasn’t that bad, with a slender waist and long, straight legs, smooth lines as if meticulously sculpted, every part just perfect.
Vizi shook her head slightly: "Your thoughts of pleasing others show a lack of self, unworthy of my body."
"Is there a possibility that I am mocking you for being flat-chested?" Idinis hinted.
Vizi’s eyelids twitched again, conversation faltering, too lazy to continue talking, her figure flashed instantly, sword poised at Idinis’s front, fingers raised toward her right shoulder.
Miss.
Idinis dodged to the side, Vizi secretly alarmed, pursued with another grab.
The two, one chasing and one dodging, Vizi continually missing, never making contact with her own body.
She was inwardly shaken, facing this flamboyant and affected formidable foe, her longsword positioned in front of her chest, eyes fiercely glowing red: "Dark Knight, Vizi."
"Dark Goddess, Idinis." Idinis said with a stern face.
...
Vizi didn’t speak, but her twitching eyelids suggested she was losing her composure.
Whistling sounds—
Vizi’s body flickered, overlapping afterimages, her figure melding into the darkness.
Multiple dark lights surged violently, slashing towards Idinis, the silent cold dark light splitting The Void, forcibly dragging Idinis out of this world with immense seals.
The former Dark Knight’s strength was astounding, not comparable to Austin, who still indulged in abuse masked as experiencing pain.
As the sword light crisscrossed, surging energy sliced The Void forming a cage, with Vizi’s single hand gesture, a terrifying invisible force sealed Idinis, the immense pressure immobilizing her.
"I wield the Twilight Deadlock, you cannot possibly be my match."
Vizi spoke softly: "Give me back my body, I will uphold my promise to let your mind leave."
"Is this really okay?"
"???"
Vizi was surprised that Idinis could still speak.
"Facing an unknown powerful foe, always maintaining the knight’s spirit, have you ever thought how strong I must be to dare call myself the Dark Goddess?"
Idinis stepped forward, breaking the hexahedral imprisonment, treating the invisible force field as nothing, with a slight smile: "You are willing to let my mind leave, but I’m not prepared to let your mind go; I still need some leverage, your timing is perfect."
"Who exactly are you?"
Vizi was greatly startled, the surrounding dark light gathering, condensing into a greatsword shape, eventually solidifying entirely, slashing directly at Idinis.
This stroke of darkness passed, the world seemed like a painted board, various colors erased, leaving only darkness.
Idinis stepped forward, black sword light enveloping her, spontaneously disintegrating and merging, not even a strand of her hair could be cut.
